We finally decided to give this place a try. It's a bit hidden behind other small stores so you wouldn't know it was there unless you searched for local Asian buffets. The decor is very warm and inviting. The buffet it self is not a super large variety. It's more of a regular good size variety. I had steamed clams, coconut shrimp, orange chicken, sauteed mushrooms, egg drop soup, and much more. It all had very good flavor. I will definitely be returning. read more

Discovering this restaurant was like finding the "Fountain of Youth". I have been to many Chinese buffets throughout the nation, This one ranks within the top few not to include the POSH or UPSCALE, which this place is NOT. The surroundings are wonderful, the chairs leave something to be desired as they are very straight and large. I have eaten pretty much the entire menu in the many times I have visited and have yet to find a fare I did not like. The food here is excellent! I love sushi, and they have an excellent variety of non-cream-cheese real sushi. Quality of it was good as well. They had a good spread of traditional buffet items, and my picky son went up for seconds. They had two different varieties of rice, lo mein, and rice noodles. Decent salad bar, and typical fruit and dessert offerings. They also had steak, grilled salmon, and crab legs at dinner time. Items were constantly refreshed. Only dried out items were clams-on-shell, and some other odd item. Crab Rangoon had too much cream cheese, but that's my opinion. Definite winner! read more

I am very disappointed I went here. The cost for both my husband and I was $28 for two buffets, an ice tea and a water. Seemed a little pricey but considering all the crab, shrimp and sushi they had on the buffet it should have been worth it. But I was not happy with anything I ate there except the egg drop soup (which the soup was very flavorful). Everything had a weird flavor. I cannot even explain what that flavor was but it was not really very good. I just know I tried this place due to the decent reviews and the photos looked soooo wonderful. And when I got there the presentation made everything look great unfortunately it did not taste good. The Sesame Chicken, Orange chicken or saucy chicken dishes were just sauced fried breading I could not find any chicken inside of those clumps. My husband and I both left there still a little hungry because we didn't find anything we really liked there. :( Very sad and still on the look out for some good Chinese food in Cedar Hill or Grand Prairie. I should have known I would not find it at a buffet, but I was desperate. Next time I will stick with Akita. Great for asian food like orange chicken, beef broccoli, my son said to include the great eggrolls. I prefer meatless eggrolls but my son likes chicken eggrolls. My son to also mention the service. Price was decent for what you get, $40 for 2 adults and 2 kids, we also all had water. The desert was not good by any means; and my husband did not like their shrimp or crab. They had kid friendly options that my little one could eat. And my older (7&5) ones actually really liked the salmon and even went back for more (they usually refuse to branch out and try new things). A neighborhood Chinese buffet place that has gone downhill over time. The decor matches its name with nice wood and bamboo'd interior decoration, and all. The food, however, is a different story. The fried rice, to begin with, has this awkward orange-brown color that makes it look unappetizing. There are the regular buffet dishes of sesame chicken, beef pepper steak, mushroom chicken, coconut shrimp and all, but nothing so special. All you can eat sushi and Chinese food for around $10! I'm no sushi expert, but they had 7 or 8 different rolls and they tasted great. Positives, the food is generally good, the selection is ample, they have a large amount of seating, and you can generally get in and out quickly. Negatives, they are a bit pricey for a buffet at dinner, and if you get the sushi on the buffet at lunch they charge you the dinner price. They always have egg fu yung on the buffet, it's always awful. I like egg fu yung, I've eaten at a lot of buffets, and I've never seen edible egg fu yung on a buffet. Why buffets always seem to want to put dishes on buffets that are only good when they're cooked to order is beyond me, but they all seem to do it to one degree or another.
