Deep fried banana was burnt and wrong type of banana to cook. Tasted overripe.

I did what I knew was wrong, ordered between 3-5pm. I suspect the good cooks are on breaks between " rush" so the Dishwasher did the cooking. Also, this place serve sushi etc . Porkchop was burnt. Fried buns was burnt Fried banana was gross Grubhub issued a refund but that did not make up for having to order other food. If you want repeat customers, you need to stagger schedule of good cooks so good quality is consistent.

The food I had delivered to my place was very good! The egg rolls were a nice touch, the broccoli beef was amazing and the vegetables were a nice addition to my meal. I definitely recommend this place if you want some good quality food! The ambiance is very good and the service was also very good from what I've read in other reviews. I give them 5 stars

This is a good Chinese restaurant. I have been going to this place for years. I don't know why it does not get better reviews on Yelp. I like their Chinese chicken salad and Mandarin Eggplant. Clean restaurant, fast service, and friendly staff. I tried many items at this restaurant. I like that this place is open late.

Haha I knew I've visited this old Chinese restaurant. .how funny ..came back for two item combo ...broccoli beef ..sweet and sour pork ...egg roll ..soup ..one coke ..tasty funny ..fast and homey ..Chinese food on Polk ..thanks to yelp I remember

We were tired and hungry and just picked this place because it was close to the Holiday Inn on Van Ness. I was a little leery because it seemed so small, but when I opened the door, I was pleasantly surprised! It was cozy but very welcoming and well decorated. I had the orange chicken on the combination plate and my husband had the sweet and sour pork. They were both so well spiced, freshly cooked, and served piping hot! The house soup and egg rolls were very good too, and I had the crab rangoon which was not some made from frozen thing but was obviously handmade and was so good. The sauces were especially nice. We also appreciated the reasonable price. Would definitely recommend!

Ordered this off Relish for lunch, and it appears the options available on Relish are only a small part of the entire menu. I ordered the honey walnut prawn rice plate. Very good honey walnut shrimp - still crunchy by the time it arrived at the office! While the taste is great, I am taking a star off for the value. This was $13.50 before taxes on the app and the portion is quite small. Pretty pricey for something so small. I would hope the portion from the restaurant for normal dinner is bigger because it's more expensive. I tried the teriyaki salmon as well and that was tasty!

    Mongolian beef and broccoli chicken.

Was seated quickly. It was a clean place. I started with the fries won tons, they were gummy. Then I had the broccoli chicken and Mongolian beef. It was both delicious and plenty full. The best part of the whole dining experience was the server who was awesome.

Their teriyaki salmon has TOO much dressing. Very thin salmon but grilled well. I wish there was more greens in the order.

We booked the dining reservation and checked all the fine print. Luckily, I finally found a review saying that their children were turned away at the door before we actually left for our reservation. What a disappointment! Seems like it would be really easy to just write 21+ when you go to make a reservation if you don't want to answer the phone!

Frankly, the guy was so awful and idiotic (a certain R word comes to mind but I can't use it to describe someone) that I cannot recommend this place to anyone. Some of the employees are on some lame power kick and while they could ALL make more money if they were civil, they are more intent on bullying new customers than on providing good service. I cannot imagine why the owner thinks this is a good business plan unless they have brain damage. About the worst customer service I've had in my entire 53 years.

We especially liked their Hazy IPA, but the Oktoberfest was very good too. The bartender said their Kolsch is a bit of a classic, and we liked it too, but it wasn't a stand out to us. From the outside, The Beer Hall almost blended into its surroundings - I almost walked right by if it hadn't been for the neon "The Beer Hall" sign. The taproom is quite spacious and could accommodate several large groups; however, the night of our visit was relatively quiet, perhaps due to the cold weather. Since there weren't any large tables, our group spread out over three smaller tables. As people came and went throughout the evening, it was convenient that we could each order our own beer and food at the bar. I selected an IPA from Fieldwork, a local favorite, and the beer stayed cold and refreshing throughout the evening. The food menu was limited, but I was craving something warm and salty to pair with my beer. For nearly $10, the fries weren't cheap, but the plate was piled high with some of the best fries I've had in a while. They were served piping-hot alongside two dipping sauces - aioli and ketchup. My friends sitting around me couldn't resist them either, and the mountain of fries disappeared in record time. The servers at the bar were very friendly and checked in on our group often. We spent a few hours enjoying our conversation and beer, overall having a fun, laid-back evening.
