Definitely a fun outdoor bar on Central with great bar staff. You can get single, double, or triple serving drinks.

Located on the fourth floor of the Pier Point structure, Pier Teaki offers a fantastic waterfront setting with beautiful views. We hurried into Pier Teaki because a thunderstorm was expected to arrive within an hour. Luckily, we found a cozy cabana where we could relax while watching the dark clouds roll in. For drinks, we ordered the NA Piña Colada ($9) and the NA Passionate Pineapple ($9). Both were refreshing, flavorful, and excellent non-alcoholic choices. We also shared the Dip Trio ($14), which was absolutely delicious and paired perfectly with the drinks. The service was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing! it was the perfect place to unwind, enjoy the ocean breeze, and take in the waterfront views. In the end, the strong winds pushed the storm clouds away, and it never rained after all. We had a wonderful experience at Pier Teaki and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting downtown St. Petersburg.

Seating is first come first served and seat yourself. We were greeted right away and our server quickly took our order. Once we got our food, we never were quality checked and drinks weren't refilled. Not sure where our server disappeared to? Food was surprisingly good! We got an order of wings, ceviche, a smash burger, and mahi tacos. The wings were so crispy and delicious that we didn't even use any of the buffalo sauce or ranch that we ordered on the side. Highly recommend! The tacos and burger were both on point. Our only complaint was that the ceviche was super fresh and refreshing, but the knife cuts were terrible so we'd end up with large pieces of fish just kind of stuck together not fully cut apart which was a little unappetizing. All in all, we had a great experience!

(Auto flash is needed for pics) The joint, is VERY CLEAN! The staff is awesome and very attentive! They understand process. The drinks are SOOO WELL MADE! I had a Zombie as my first drink, and it is very well presented and STRONG! I prefer,my first drink at an establishment to be strong cause then I can lighten it up later. Then I had a Rum Barrel, not as strong, but well presented and delicious! Note: Prices for drinks are worth every dime! They have a small food menu, but everything on the menu looked delicious, but I did not eat there. This speakeasy is attached to a British pub which I went for food after. (Review to come) All-in-all great spot to come and have a drink you are well treated, appreciated and just a fun experience! I will DEFINITELY come back here for a delicious drink and DEFINITELY will try something off the food menu. I'll just make sure next time I won't go there after a big breakfast lol! Wow. I expected more from a place rated 4 stars. To be…read morespecific we went to the beach bar because the restaurant wasn't open yet. The very first issue was parking. Parking is minimum $50 a day + fees. A cocktail? For an hour? Haha no. I'm being mildly disingenuous. The bar staff (and likely restaurant staff) will give you a QR code to validate all $58 of your parking. But it made me acutely miss a time when you could just park and patronize an establishment. Just don't forget to validate your parking, cuz they sure didn't ask preemptively. They were celebrating a 3-day grand reopening when we went on Saturday. There was *one* artisan in their market space. The music was pumping loud enough to not be able to converse. Although it drew a crowd of younger folks, there was not much to behold from the "grand" reopening. Not even s cost of paint. The beach bar may not have been part of the sprucing up idk, I didn't see anything worth celebrating. I meant to look at the size of the cocktail cup that we got (small), but $13-14 for a cocktail is highway robbery for the end result. And $18 for 6 wings ($3 a wing) was a little disappointing. I expected better of a Hilton adjoined restaurant. No one part was terrible. It was just the way they matched up - loud, expensive, small portions. If you're loud maybe you're cheap and tasty. If you're expensive, maybe you're fast and delicious. This was all the worst parts of a bar that doesn't care about its patrons' economics. A bar that wants to serve tourists with mediocrity and move on to the next crop of people who will never be there again. If you're a tourist it'll probably be fine, if overpriced. If you're a local, don't bother. To be fair, we should ask if there was anything good. hm ... no. We won't be returning. 3 stars is probably generous.

We walked in after musical bingo had started, and received an amazingly warm welcome from the host. The entire staff was equally as kind and helpful. A typical setup with thatched roof bar, lots of tikis and overall fun atmosphere. We were able to pick from their standard menu as well as their brunch menu, and we picked from the latter. We ordered drinks: a captain and diet for hubby, and a quarantini for me which was light and tasty. We shared an appetizer sized ahi tuna, perfectly prepared and served with seaweed salad. Delicious! Our entree was a tasty crab cake served on a pretzel bun and served with tater tots ( our choice), and according to Tom " it was the bomb", as the "combined taste was so good". Our server was just okay; not overly friendly and a bit annoyed when I asked if they served mojitos ( evidently not, had I looked at the menu...) Prices were a bit lower than I'd expect near the beach in St. Pete.

Orders were taken promptly and delivered in reasonable times. We all ordered from their specialty cocktail list, and we all agreed they were very good. My Miami Mule was one of the best I have had in a while. Fruit flavor was forward, you could actually taste the bite of the ginger beer, and they didn't skimp on the alcohol. While I didn't order food, the rest of my family did and they all enjoyed their meals. The only downside was the bugs! BRING BUG SPRAY! The Getaway is all outdoor, located on the bay in the Mangroves, and it's home to biting insects. We were almost eaten alive by the tiny biting flies (noseeums, flying teeth). They were annoying as hell. While bugs come with the territory, a can of bug spray or a few citronella candles on the tables would be nice.
