    Spicy pork bento

Small store but they have lots of good fresh, frozen and packaged food to grab and go including meals that were freshly made and ready to eat. Fair prices as well. Their coconut shrimp sushi roll had an amazing dipping sauce. The spicy pork was also super good. I came in one day with my hands full with a wriggly baby and the gentleman working was so helpful. I didnt have to ask he just went out of his way to help me get a basket and put items in it for me and ring it up quickly. It was really sweet and made my day. If I could change anything in the bentos I would love other sides to be switched out. Not the biggest fan of the egg or wontons, but tjey always have it in them.

Of course saw this on instagram. I went specifically for the banchan. It's a cute shop with snacks and a whole wall of ramen. I ended up buying a few banchan. Fish cakes, garlic stems, stir fried mushrooms and spicy dried squid. The squid was the best of the four. There's a little room in the back that I guess you can go and enjoy your finding!

Love how easy and convenient it was to pick and choose food! We got the kimbap and ramyeon combo. Always a great meal. The eating area was also very cute and clean and was very cozy. The lady running the cashier was very kind and made sure we knew that she was there to help if we needed.

Checked out the newest location for Banchan Village near our home tonight. We came in relatively late at 7:00pm and the cold cases were still fairly stocked. We came with the intent of grabbing a small bite to take home for dinner, which we did. The bulgogi Kimbap & seaweed salad were fresh and delicious. Something I would definitely go pick up again. We also grabbed a canned iced coffee to try in the morning as well as a grape & aloe vera green tea drink. It was fun to walk through the small store to see what other offerings they had. We'll definitely be back soon to try some of the other tasty looking treats and pre-prepared meals. Despite such a small space, they really have a lot to offer. I think this is a fantastic place to have in the Henderson / Anthem area!

Best place to get your Korean food fix to go!!! I absolutely love Banchan! I was a fan even when thier first store in southwest opened! It was literally my go to place when I was in that area. I just love how they have all ready hot foods to go! Now this place is like triple of their original size compared to their Southwest location! It's like a mini-mart! I love it! They have everything from shabu shabu meats to a ramen library!! So many snacks and options. They even have your favorite Korean side dishes and even a fried chicken box!! I always get the bulgogi bentos, japchae, and gimbaps!!! Everything is delicious and fresh here!! Staff were nice and friendly! They even let us use the restroom on the restaurant side!

First impressions was the hospitality of the staff. So kind and hospitable truly felt genuinely welcomed in. I have to praise the superb cleanliness of the store, it was very well stocked and organized. I love the overall atmosphere, the lights and how they have everything displayed makes the products that more intriguing I enjoyed their variety of snacks, food, desserts, and drink selection. This was a solo date and I was looking for lunch. I ended up going with ramen and made it in store and enjoyed a quiet, peaceful lunch by myself. I was able to take home some banchan of my favorites, some kimbap and some really refreshing drink I got in store. Their bentos also looked great. I'll definitely be coming back to get stuff for my kbbq night at home as well recommending this place to people I know. Really enjoyed my experience here 10/10

First off, it is SO exciting having new Korean restaurants and businesses open in the Henderson area. We've always had to go to Chinatown or the SW to get to anything and this is such a HUGE help. Unlike most banchan shops this one almost doubles as a small grocery store which makes it extra special. It doesn't have a ton of groceries but it has just enough that if I need something for dinner that night I don't need to drive across town. The banchan itself is very good. Nothing is too sweet and tastes very authentic. The marinated galbi was especially good. I surprised at the high quality of the beef and the fact that it wasn't overly-sweet. Everything actually tastes very Korean and homemade!

We were planning on cooking Korean bbq at home and realized that we didn't have any side dishes. Searched on Yelp and this location popped up and figured it was close by, that we would try it out. We liked all the side dishes we chose. We got the egg potato salad, seaweed salad, bean sprouts, and spicy cucumbers. The meat sauce wasn't the best, it was pretty plain. The seasoned king Kalbi was so good, I almost ate it all to myself. We also ordered some chips and a few soft drinks that were pretty good to snack on while we drove home. The service was nice. The cashier was patient with us as we were browsing around the store. There were quite the variety of side dishes to choose from. They also had seasoned meats available as well as frozen meats. They had aisles worth of different ramen and noodles, snacks, and drinks. It was well worth it stopping by.

I come here to grab a quick lunch from time to time. It's a cute Korean convenience store. They sell premade meals that are super filling and balanced. They always sell delicious drinks and side dishes! Everything is fresh and the person who works there is super nice!

They didn't have everything, but they had enough! I hope they stock up a little more still! It was aesthetically pleasing & clean! The worker was friendly & it was pretty quiet, besides the music. Will probably visit again. Hope one opens closer to where I live.

Neat store. Has all kinds of pick up and go Korean items from lunch boxes, ramen, panchan side dishes, ice cream, ramen, etc. Some are very overpriced and some are decently priced

such a cute convenience store that sells korean side dishes, snacks, hot foods, frozen goods including ice cream and a self serve ramen bar !! if you seen the viral korean caprisun like juice pouches with ice cups they sell them here !! i was waiting for something like this to open around the st rose area especially since school is coming up, this is a perfect place to study. prices were reasonable and staff was kind, they play kpop in the grocery area but not to loud. i cannot wait to come back and study here, the ramen bar is quiet plus food and drinks are a few feet away.

We had a really excellent lunch date at Banchan Village a Korean market with a small cafe where you can cook your own ramen! We grabbed lunch for two for under $40 bucks. Cheese Ramen with extra string cheese melted in, two drinks, (the banana milk and grape aloe soda were awesome) a sea weed salad that was salty sweet sour and perfectly crunchy, deep fried sea weed rolls, churro chocolate turtle chips, and a crispy rice chocolate bar! It was fun and fast to cook the ramen and the cafe had wrap around bar seating and utensils etc. Don't be fooled by the OPEN sign dimmed by the tinted windows. Next time I go I'm going to grab some groceries from the refrigerators like the frozen rice cakes and a bunch more snacks!

Kimbap very dry . Not fresh

I think it might even be up there as one of my new favorite ramen spots in town, alongside Hashi in Chinatown and Kyuramen in Anthem! The best part is, with how close this restaurant is to my place, I don't have to make nearly as long of a drive if I want ramen. Umai Ramen is located in the Target shopping complex on Sunset and Stephanie, tucked away in the line of shops between Hobby Lobby and Ross. I first spotted this place when I went to the nearby H&R Block to get my taxes done earlier in the year, but I never really had an excuse to come out here until I had the ramen craving strike, and hard -- hence why I decided to bite the bullet and check the place out. One of the things that struck me immediately was their offerings -- of course, they have ramen of all types as you might guess from the name. But they also have different styles of ramen that you don't typically find anywhere, like the more elusive mazemen no-broth ramen, udon noodles, and even tsukemen-style ramen! To say nothing of some of the appetizers -- again, while they have the typical offerings of other noodle houses in town, they also have a selection of items that you really can't find anywhere else. They have multiple types of ramen with unusual toppings, such as their truffle ramen with mushrooms and steak (I need to try that next time I'm here), but I went pretty safe with their black garlic ramen, considered a signature item on their menu, and added an extra egg to it. If I were honest, I didn't need it because the ramen was so full of delicious toppings that I couldn't put my chopsticks or spoon down! Their appetizers are also a must -- I ordered their orange salmon and mango scallops, and I would highly recommend both of those as well. Between bites, the servers would check in on me, refill my water, and provide additional napkins as needed, as well. Needless to say, I'm hooked -- and already I'm thinking of the next time I go here! What will I try next? If you're in the area, give Umai Ramen a try. You just might come back for more.

I had some favorite ramen shops in Philly that I still think are stellar, but the one thing they were missing was this minced pork. I will add that **** to EVERY kind of ramen bowl! I like it even more than the char siu! I ordered the takoyaki appetizer and was not disappointed. I must have been a cat in a past life because I am obsessed with bonito fish flakes and you can never put too many of those on top. The only thing I struggle with is the fact that I feel guilty eating octopus, so I don't order takoyaki as often as I used to. The service is friendly and the beer is cold. The ambience is relatively low lighting, cozy izakaya vibe, with modern touches in the decor. The icing on the cake is the face that they have melon cream soda. Ramen. Minced Pork. Beer. Melon soda. The Ultimate Ramen, despite its name, was underwhelming -- mediocre at best, lacking the depth and richness you'd expect from a bowl with that kind of billing. The sushi rolls were equally disappointing. Both the California Roll and the Philly Roll suffered from bland, flavorless rice -- the foundation of any good sushi. The sweetness and tanginess that should come through in well-seasoned sushi rice were completely absent. The Philly Roll was especially let down by the cream cheese, which had virtually no taste and added nothing to the roll. Even the wasabi lacked any real heat or pungency, which honestly surprised me the most. The one bright spot was the service. Our server was working the floor entirely on her own and still managed to be attentive and pleasant throughout. That kind of dedication deserves recognition. Overall, the kitchen needs to revisit its seasoning and flavor profiles across the board. With some attention to the basics properly seasoned rice, quality ingredients, and bold condiments, this place could be so much better. For now, it's hard to recommend.

We dropped in for a late dinner at 8PM, driving there directly from Zion National Park after hiking Angel's Landing. It was still surprisingly busy inside and we even had to wait a bit for a table! The waitress first brought over some cucumber lemon water, then took our order. The food only took about 10 minutes to arrive. Spicy Beef Noodle, Knife Shaved ($15.97) - Whew that broth. It's like cough city on the first sip, that chili and sichuan peppercorn mixture really gets into the throat. It then transitions into a robustly beefy, salty, and even slightly sweet flavor. It's so beefy it's almost gamey in taste. The heat is actually very balanced, although after sipping on it throughout the meal, I started getting pretty sweaty even with the AC on blast in the building. The beef is great. it's fatty and has connective silverskin still attached; it's like the best part of the tendinous shank. Other than that there's the perfectly cooked, bouncy knife shaved noodles, and a couple of leaves of crunchy blanched bok choy. (5/5) Beef Pancake ($9.75) - I thought these would be dry like shao bing (I have never had 餡餅 before) but construction took us totally by surprised. The beef pancakes are almost like a flatter, beef version of sheng jian bao, complete with juicy beef aspic. The wrapper is chewy and thinner than a typical SJB, but works well here; it's not thin enough to cause holes that leak juice out. The meatball inside is beefy and flavorful, albeit not as tender as a typical pork meatball. The taste of both the juice and beef are very allium forward and full of umami. (5/5) Dan Dan Noodle, Hand Pulled Noodle ($13.97) - The topping is a cold meat and preserved veggie mixture, minced finely until very tender and soft. It's combined with plenty of sesame paste and peanuts, giving an overwhelming nuttiness. The noodles, in this case the hand pulled one, work exceptionally well, being perfectly cooked and staying the same bouncy consistency throughout the meal. My experience with the hand pulled noodles in broth at the other Shang location was that the noodles got too soft only ten or fifteen minutes sitting in the broth. I would definitely get hand pulled only with dry dishes. On the bottom of this dish is a really spicy sauce, both in heat and mala numbness. It's very fragrant and lemony even through there's not much red color. The dish as a whole is far more spicy overall than the Spicy Beef Noodle. (5/5) The portions Shang Artisan Noodle serves are huge. We hiked Angels Landing before eating dinner here and we were only able to finish about half our meal. Shang Artisan Noodle serves some really great noodle dishes. There's a reason we keep coming back for more! Bathrooms - Two individual rooms, one for women, one for men
