I'm surprised this place wasn't super busy given how good the food was! Our server was super kind and answered all of our questions we had about the menu since it was our first time there. I make to go order from soyo a lot as it is close to my house. Their food is good. It's the service where I am giving them one star. When I walked into the restaurant to pick up my order, this lady at the front simply says "pick up?" without greeting. Then, I gave her my phone #. She grabbed my food and put in front of me along with the check. I paid my bill and walked out. Through the entire process, there was not even one simple "thank you". It was complete silence. The first location I visited was on rainbow and I love that location. This is a smaller location, so they have smaller servings. I would think that since it's the same restaurant they would serve the same stuff for the same price and same size, but apparently not. The food was delicious so that's why I gave it a four and I would come back The service was OK. I had to get up a few times to ask for water, extra rice cakes, etc. so for a small place I expected better customer service. Since it's down the street, I wouldn't mind coming back and giving it another try to see if they improve on their customer service. read more

We ordered the watermelon slush, meat jeon, Soyo Special BBQ Beef Back Ribs and the Beef Brisket w/ House Special. gave us recommendations on proteins and thats how we ended up with the monster ribs!! The watermelon slush came out right away. Probably one of the better fruit slushes around as they use fresh fruit. The food came out pretty fast and everything looked amazing. The ribs were delicious, meat was soft and tender. Almost fell off the bone. The meat jeon paired with the accompanying sauce hit the spot. Definitely an immediate favorite as it reminded me of the Korean food from back home. Now for the brisket, perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. The brisket with the house salad is a must try. The sauces give it an extra splash of flavor that broke da mout. Will definitely be coming back to try everything else we saw ordered from other patrons. Its regular beef back ribs, the spare ones you get cheap out here in vegas because of the high demand for prime rib and rib eye at other places. I hung up, and started to eat it, and saw hair in the soup!! I called again, but they were closed at this point. I was craving Korean food and soyo is my go to! I've tried many other Korean restaurants, but nothing tastes like soyo. It's pricey, but they can definitely charge their prices with their quality and now I found out there's one in Southern highlands!!! The vibe of this location is very chill, just like any other restaurant in the area. The other locations have a party vibe so this was nice to open the door to. I got my usual: dumpling soup, soy garlic chicken wings, and the pork belly salad. We also got talked into trying mala since an order of chicken wings comes with two flavors. After receiving our order, mala wasn't as good as soy garlic to us. It's ok, now we know. But everything else was consistent with other locations so we were incredibly happy to know our favorite Korean restaurant is closer to Henderson! read more

One of my favorite restaurants, now closer to my home! I always order the same thing pork belly with house salad and spicy tofu stew - never disappoints! I believe this location has a smaller menu than the Rainbow location, but it has all the essentials. The restaurant is cozy and doesn't get too crowded (yet)! The servers are attentive and keep your table clean. I wouldn't recommend a very large group here unless you call ahead. This is an easy place to meet up with someone for a drink and catching up.
