For a $7 drink, i expected much more but it was watered down and most of what was in the cup was ice. My partner and I left pretty disappointed. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and it was luckily not too packed. There aren't many tables at this location so definitely try to come with a smaller group of people. We ordered the Slinger and the Fancy. My favorite was the Slinger. The hash browns inside added a nice crunch to the burrito, paired well with the ketchup. My only complaint is that one half was dripping in what seemed to be oil. The Fancy tasted good as well, especially with the addition of the impossible patty. The bun was a very nice, soft texture. Came by a Thursday morning a few minutes after opening. The staff was very kind, they took my order very fast and kindly told me before paying that it would take around 10minutes to have my order ready, which I appreciated. Ordered the bandit sandwich, tater tots and a cappuccino. The tater tots were freshly friend, crispy outside and soft on the inside. The cappuccino was ok, but good. The coffee was a bit more acidic than what I typically like. The bandit sandwich, I was very excited for, but I was not a fan. The bread didn't taste fresh, it was less fluffy than I expected. I usually get The Bandit, and I don't like the bacon (quite crispy) so I usually pick it out, but I like the ripe avocados with scrambled eggs and arugula and brioche bun. I got the brekkie, which was pretty similar in taste to a Breakfast Little burrito (definitely a compliment). The eggs were very creamy and I enjoyed the hint of chives inside! My main complaint besides the bun is that I couldn't taste the cheese, the relish seemed tasty but the bun didn't last long enough for me to know. Also after this I firmly believe eggs have no place on burgers. I tasted bacon egg and tomatoes first and then the bun then the beef. I would try them again just not for a burger. The only reason why I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is the bathroom situation. After eating a greasy burger, my hands were soooo dirty. There is no public restroom, even for customers. Unfortunately we accidentally went to the old location in the tenderloin (big mistake), then we finally made our way over here. I really love the area but it was raining when we went, and it seemed like there was no heater to sit in and eat our food, so we didn't stay because of the temperature. So, I've only ordered delivery from Bandit through Uber Eats. I went straight for probably one of the riskiest things to order first time: the grilled chicken sandwich. With any new-to-you restaurant, you've got a 50/50 chance of it being juicy and flavorful... or a sad chunk of dried out and under-seasoned chicken breast. I *really* like their grilled chicken. I don't know with any certainty how it's handled, but I'd bet dollars to doughnuts it's been brined, which is absolutely what you want in lean meat. It's also very consistently good. Cane here on a Sunday morning and there was a small line with seats filled inside. They don't take cash so keep that in mind when you come. We sat in their outdoor seating area because we brought our dog with us, but there were some people that brought their dog inside while ordering. They have dog treats available for free, which lasted about 2 seconds before my dog ate it in one bite, so I'd say it has his stamp of approval! I got the Broke Millionaire breakfast sandwich. Awesome spot to stop by for brunch/lunch in the DogPatch area. Casual spot where you order at the counter. There is some seating inside though it is quite a small, cramped space, as well as a parklet right outside. The food took quite a long time, but I appreciated how apologetic and kind the staff were (who said it was due to a kitchen equipment not working and that this wasn't their usual pace) We tried a breakfast burrito - Slinger- which my husband stated was one of the best he ever had. Super tasty with eggs, cheese, crisp tater tots. They have numerous sandwich and burger options-- we enjoyed the Impossible Burger which came with caramalized onions, their special sauce, avocado, lettuce and tomato. I appreciated that they had a salad and that it was huge, but the dressing was a bit too tangy for me with the pickled carrots and large amounts of fennel. The cous cous appealed to me, but there was a very small amount of that. Overall we love places that also serve coffee and espresso for a one stop shop. I'd say the coffee and espresso drink were mediocre though.... probably would've been more worthwhile to make another stop somewhere else, but again appreciate the convenience since not that many good solid food places offer espresso drinks! Girlfriend brought back a breakfast burrito from a workplace catering from Bandit for me to try since she knows I love them. She got the chorizo and bacon breakfast burrito and it might be among the best ones I've ever had. Somehow even after a long day and reheating it, the hash and bacon inside was still crispy, the tortilla had an incredible fresh taste, and the chorizo was so flavorful. One thing about the chorizo that wowed me was how little oil it had - a hallmark of many chorizo burritos is the greasiness left behind but this one was nicely charred without leaving me feeling like I licked a propane tank. It's all about the fries. They are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside--without being soggy. Both the fries and the burger were served hot and eaten on the patio. I've been here before and tried the chicken sandwich, which is also good. The space itself is small and uncomfortably warm inside (late summer), so I recommend eating outside if the weather allows on their parklet.
