One of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had!! Quick service considering it's a super busy day.
Amazing location next to Dolores Park. Inside is bright and airy. I love Bandit and their sister restaurant Heist which is closer to me. Both of them have the best (or at least one of the best) breakfast burrito(s)--the Captain Crunch. Amazing housemade chorizo, cheese, and tots. I like the Bandit Captain Crunch better because there's tots in the burritos, versus at Heist, they have potatoes. The potatoes taste good but the tots are better. More crunch. Service is wonderful. I also like their housemade cochata (horchata cold brew.)
I went here for the first time and was very impressed! The vegan sando was super flavorful and was a refreshing change to the normal vegan sandwiches you see which only have vegan meat, egg, and cheese. This one had sautéed mushrooms, spinach, a tomato jam, and a really good vegan sausage patty. I was hesitant to try the vegan and GF bun, but I was pleasantly surprised! I usually hate when places lump vegan and GF options together but this was one of the best GF buns I've had. The sandwich was also really filling, I debated getting a side of tater tots also but the sandwich filled me up. The lady that rung me up was nice and patient with me as I took my time reading the menu. There was plenty of open seating and I enjoyed my food there while it was fresh and hot. I also got a vanilla latte with oat milk but I wouldn't recommend the coffee as it was just ok and there are a bunch of other specialty coffee shops around where you could get a better latte. I will definitely be back for their food though!

Cheese B- a simple smash burger that comes with fries or a house salad. A nice burger with that soft brioche bun. Love the grill onions on my burgers. The fries came out hot and crispy as well. The burger was a little on the drier side but overall not too bad. Right next to Delores park so can easily take outside to enjoy in the park if desired. They have some regular table seating as well as window bar seating with windows that open outside which was nice. Went on a weekday during lunch so not as busy as the weekend. Looking forward to tying their breakfast sandwhiches in the future
This little café is fairly new, and I usually go to the one across the street -- but I decided to stop by and give Bandit Dolores a try. I'm glad I did! We grabbed a quick coffee and a pastry (can't remember exactly which one), but everything was really good. The service was friendly, and the coffee was bomb -- so good that we actually kept coming back during our visit. It's a cute little spot with a good amount of space for where it's located. There are plenty of to-go orders and DoorDash pickups, but also some nice seating if you want to hang out for a bit. The menu seems pretty simple -- nothing too crazy -- but definitely worth checking out. Highly recommend stopping by for their coffee!
The Fancy sandwich was bland, so I didn't finish the bun since the plentiful bread further muted the flavor of the eggs, avocado, and mushrooms, which are already mild-flavored to begin with. As a result, I don't recommend their breakfast sandwiches. Their burritos look to be a hit though. The location is great, however, and the service is friendly. I like their open-window coutner seating plus the corner tables. They were very busy on a Sunday at 12:30, so I recommend coming later.
I've had Bandit before a few years ago at a different location, so I was really excited to try it again. This location, being near Dolores, was pretty busy, but there were plenty of stools to sit and wait. It took about 20 minutes to get our food. The person who took our order was super sweet and patient, especially since we ordered a lot and had to run multiple transactions after forgetting a few things. When our food was ready, I grabbed the drinks I had ordered from the fridge, but then was accused of taking more than I paid for. Even after I tried explaining, they kept insisting the ticket only showed two drinks. Thankfully, the person who took my order stepped in and cleared things up. I get that mistakes happen, but it was disappointing that they were so quick to accuse without apologizing afterward. As for the food, the tater tots were perfectly crispy and delicious, but the sandwich was underwhelming. The bread felt thick and a bit stale, like I was mostly eating bread with each bite. I think thinner buns would make a big difference. Overall, it wasn't bad, and I'd eat there again, but it wouldn't be my first choice for a breakfast sandwich.
We came on a monday around lunch time and we were the only ones there! Parking wasnt bad at all. I got the petty cash and I agree with the other reviews stating that the bun was very dry. Overall the taste was there and the eggs and house sauce were delish. It was a good price considering I didnt get bacon. The place itself is really cute and right across is dolores park! The food came out pretty quick and the tator tots were soo good and crispy. It does come with ketchup! Canned soda was 3 dollars so more on the pricey side. I would come here again to try the breakfast burritos!
Super solid place to get a breakfast sandwich. Great location by Dolores Park, sandwiches never disappoint (I got the bandit while my friend got the deviant), and reasonably priced. I would recommend taking a stop if you're in the area.
Too many people sleep on this place... and I was one of them!! I stopped in here for a coffee and was blown away by their menu, I felt upset I had already eaten breakfast and couldn't indulge in their delicious sounding creations. I got the dirty bandit cold brew and horchata which was so uniquely good! We also got the dirty tots which were cooked perfect and gave you a lot for what you paid. Definitely check them out, perfect park breakfast or lunch.

I've seen multiple SF influencers debating SF's best breakfast burrito. I have to admit, I have strong opinions. While Bandit doesn't have my favorite, definitely top five in the city. Next time I'm getting a Broke Millionaire breakfast sandwich and an orange juice. I noticed if you order through food delivery apps you can get free tots with minimum spend.
Finally checked this place out. Grabbed some food and enjoyed a sunny day at the park. It wasn't busy at all and got food to go. We ordered right away and didn't have to wait long for the food. It's got some seating inside and pretty open. Seemed clean but a worker was standing on a table behind the register that had food on it with shoes and just looked unclean. Seems like a step-stool would be more appropriate. She was also throwing packaged supplies on the floor. I know they were packaged but also doesn't seem great to just be throwing it all on the ground, especially in front of customers. We ordered the double bandit with tots, bacon bird with salad, and dirty bandit drink. The burger was good, bacon on it crisp, and flavor was good. Tots were nice and crisp. I didn't try the bacon bird but was told it was good. The salad was fresh but a bit saturated in dressing. The drink was tasty and so refreshing on a hot day. Prices seemed high and for a place that's not exactly sit down but I get we're in SF

Yelp makes me hungry. Someone asked a question for good places to go for breakfast and a Yelper suggested Bandit and specifically, their Captain Crunch Wrap. I was sold: Woke my son, grabbed my bag and we were out the door before 7:30am on a Sunday. That never happens. We were greeted warmly. We ordered at the counter and while briefly waiting, admired the sunny ambiance and sparkling cleanliness of their kitchen and dining room. FinnCinerator got the Captain Crunch wrap, it was amazing. Packed with housemade slightly spicy chorizo, butcher's bacon, tater tots and soft scrambled eggs, it was a veritable masterpiece of flavor. I got the Bandit sandwich: Brioche bun with soft scrambled eggs, Muenster cheese, avocado, butcher's bacon and aioli. Good but a little greasy. Had an amazing Americano. Great breakfast spot on the corner of Dolores Park- go! PS I marveled how many orders were coming in from delivery apps. At one point the POS chimed about 30 times in a row! read more

The fish & chips were okay. But!! The tables are filthy! They need to be properly cleaned. They need scrubbed with hot water & soap. You can scrape the grime off with your nail. read more

Came here on a Saturday morning and had a very nice experience. We were the first customers in the store. I ordered the Slinger breakfast burrito (scrambled eggs, chicken sausage, tater tots, cheese, aioli) and a hot caramel latte and let me tell you -- it was one of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had! The caramel latte was good, but not anything special. It was a bit cold by the time they served it to me, but it didn't bother me too much. The service was fairly quick -- it took them about 10-15 minutes to serve my order. The interior is also very bright and cute. It's in a scenic location too, right across from Dolores Park. Lots of dog-walkers and pedestrians walking around, especially in the morning which create a nice ambiance. read more
Stopping by Bandit before walking over to Dolores park has become a regular tradition for me in the city. They hands down have some of the best burritos in town. The ingredients are fresh and the tortilla doesn't taste like those cheap cafeteria burritos you often find around here. The tots and drinks are solid too. Yes, for a meal you ll spend a little more. For a sandwich, a side, and a drink I spent over $25 dollars. But I didn't regret one bite of that burrito! read more
Food 4.3/5 Service: 4/5 Value 4/5 I really liked this breakfast sandwich and the vibe of this place. Being right next to the park almost forces you to take it to go and enjoy the San Francisco sun! The sandwich itself was quite nice with bold flavors. In my opinion, the sandwich was a little heavy for breakfast and I would've liked a vegetable or something citrusy to cut all the dense flavors. Otherwise very good sandwich and would recommend this place for something quick before a day in the park! read more

Stopped by here for a quick bite for breakfast! They have such a solid menu for breakfast. I tried a bit of my sister's Slinger Breakfast Burrito & I liked that a lot better bc of the crunchy tater tots & less breading. The sandwiches seemed a bit bread heavy but still super tasty. They have a lot of seating indoors. Service was pretty fast. Parking can be tough. All street parking. read more

We found this place on Doordash and the photos looked yummy. The Captain Crunch Burrito (left) is super flavorful. We really love that that chorizo has that perfect spice to it. The Slinger Burrito (right) is also very flavorful. Even getting the food from a delivery, the tater tots were still crispy and crunchy. We wish it came with some salsa however would get these again. Service seemed to be fast. Our door dasher only waiting a couple minutes before he was on the way. Can't say much about ambiance however the location looks cute in photos. read more
A really good burger spot next to work. They have a very modern room and plenty of space to eat. Staff is friendly and the place was clean. The buyer had a lot of flavor. I also like the other options you can get other than fries. read more

I've had bandit before at their old TL location and loved it so had high expectations picking up a sando (The Brekkie) and a coffee to go. Was pretty disappointed in the sandwich; the bread was extremely dry borderlining on stale making for a very dry sandwich. Also, the flavor profile was very sweet and cinnamon/clove heavy for some reason -- not the savory juicy experience I remember. However, the coffee was excellent. I'd still come back and try it again...hoping the bread and condiment situation gets looked into. read more

Admittedly I've only been here once, but I *loved* it and need to revisit. Highlights from my visit: -excellent breakfast sandwich -fair pricing -great iced coffee (or was it cold brew? It was really good whichever it was) -super cute interior -loved the side seating for people watching. I sat with a group of friends bc it was the only seating left, but it would've been great for a non-awkward solo meal. -super nice and helpful staff! Bandit, god dammit, you've got my heart read more

If you're craving hearty breakfast or brunch with quality ingredients, Bandit is a must visit. My husband and I are visiting and wanted to take some food to the park. We got the Slinger Burrito which was rich but balanced with potatoes and aioli. We also got the Grilled Chicken Sandwich with sweet potato fries. The Muenster cheese and arugula were two ingredients we LOVED in this sandwich and of course the sweet potato fries are always the best alternative with the perfect crisp. Add in the amazing service, casual charm, and prime Dolores Park location and you've got a breakfast win for the city! read more
I went here on a Saturday around 5pm and there was no wait! There is some seating inside this restaurant, so that was nice. Anyways, we got the Broke Millionaire, Tater Tots, Notorious, and the Signature Fries! I loved how crispy the tater tots and fries were! All the food is made to order, so you know how tasty it and fresh it is! The burgers are super juicy too and I liked how both burgers comes with an egg inside. I'd recommend this place! They have a lot of tasty sandwiches and they also sell other things, such as burgers, sides, breakfast burritos, coffee, and other drinks too! What a cool spot to have lunch! I had the Broke millionaire breakfast sandwich with the tater tots! Great flavors and easy to eat the food was great My wife had one of the breakfast burritos it was fabulous and had enough to take half home! The place is totally cool the windows open the cool breeze we couldn't have asked for a better day to find this place!! Great selection of both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks! I love breakfast sandwiches and so I've been meaning to try Bandit for a while now. It was a busy morning and so my partner picked up The Broke Millionaire (pictured) and The Fancy for us to crush in the car after my morning class (note: the sandwiches were definitely resting in the bag for maybe about 30 minutes or so before we ate them). The Broke Millionaire is a monster of a breakfast sandwich packed with meat, eggs, and potatoes with some creaminess from avocado and aioli. This is definitely something that'd cause you to food coma after. I thought the flavors of everything together was really good, particularly the spices from the sausage, and the hash brown still had some crisp to it. I do think it was a bit dry and would've benefited from a bit more aioli, but it probably would've been more juicy if we ate it immediately while hot. The Fancy was a much lighter sandwich and was my preferred between the two. I absolutely love the jam - I'm not sure what's in it but it made me think of the holidays! I actually think the jam would've tasted really good with the sausage from the The Broke Millionaire, but even with just the mushrooms it was plenty tasty. We also got two lemonades which were good but nothing particularly unique. Overall, I'd probably give it a 3.5 but rounding up because I honestly think it would be much better if we ate it immediately! read more

The bathroom was clean relative to other restaurants in the area. Indoor Dining & Takeout: Bandit Dolores Park offers indoor dining and takeout. The indoor seating consists of tables for small parties of two to four people and bar seating looking out into the street. Takeout is another option, especially if choosing to dine at Dolores Park across the street. On the Pricey Side: Bandit Dolores Park is on the pricey side for what you get. The beef did not have much flavor; the cheese was stiff and not gooey, both of which made the quality on par to a frozen grocery store burger. There is not much more to say other than the fries were fried potatoes on the soggy side with minimal seasoning. I had the Double Bandit Smash Burger with sweet potato fries and tater tots..absolute perfection. The burger was juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The bun? Soft, buttered, and everything a burger bun should be. The meat quality paired with that melted cheese was A1! I was in heaven. And can we talk about the vibes? You get a front-row view of Dolores Park while enjoying great food and some bomb music. It's honestly the perfect spot to post up in SF any day of the week. Everyone at Bandit was so warm and welcoming--I even got to meet the owners, who were incredibly kind and down-to-earth. Can't wait to come back and try their breakfast options. Whoa, wow, and thanks to this spot for restoring hope in me toward gluten-free burritos. It's in a prime location across the street from Delores Park and, as you'd expect, it demands some waiting given its popularity. However, it will not disappoint. About the food: I had "The Fancy" sandwich - basically on the softest gf bread I've ever eaten with scrabbled eggs, Gouda, mushrooms, chives, housemade jam, etc. Tasted sweet and incredible. I also had the absolute best gluten-free burrito ever made, which included housemade chorizo, scrambled eggs, tator tots (the crunch), bacon (more crunch), cheese, aioli, etc. The name was actually "Captain Crunch" and it met every bit the expectation of its title. I'd go back daily if I lived closer. Easy 10/10 if that were possible. read more
