    Adirondack crab & Asiago bake
    Ashley L.

We came on a Sunday night for a quick dinner. When we walked in, we were initially a little confused because there is a section for the bar (right side of entrance) and another room to dine in (go left). The Adirondack crab & Asiago bake was good. The bake itself was perfect for eating with the bread, but a little too salty. The bread that comes with it would have been perfect if it was crispier The Famous Adirondacker came with a choice of fries, coleslaw or salad and a pickle. This specialty sandwich is unique because it is on a long roll and not between the bread. It could have been delicious if it wasn't so salty. The fries however were delicious and crunchy, and not overwhelmingly salty. The Canadian Mounty also came with a pickle the same choices of fries, coleslaw, or salad. This sandwich was very bland, the chicken was not seasoned at all. The only added flavor to this sandwich was the Dijon mustard that came on the side. Our waitress was very kind and helpful throughout our whole stay Overall, this place is nice for people who just want to hang out at the bar or want a quick dinner. If you like salty meals, this is the place for you!

    Buffalo fettuccini Alfredo

First off , this would be better if they were fully staffed. No one acknowledged us when we walked in until there were 4 groups behind us and then the woman shouted across the room to seat ourselves. We sit down and order pretzel stick appetizers with the beer cheese and she tells us that all 3 cooks quit and no one here knows how to make it. Panic ensued... Should we leave? Will this be terrible? We stayed and are glad we did. The salad was iceberg, okay. But the Buffalo chicken fettuccini Alfredo was classically spicy and hit the spot. My roast beef sandwich was okay, with homemade tasting macaroni salad with tuna in it. Great little spot for sandwiches after a long day on the water that wasn't crowded at all. Here, the short staffing came into play again though as I basically stopped eating because I needed more water and no one came for awhile and by then my stomach settled into full.

Loaded nachos w/ homemade chili & potato skins were delicious!

By far the best food we've had in Lake George. The Rueben sandwich and the Adirondacker did not disappoint. Service was phenomenal & made us feel extremely welcome. Can't wait to come back on our next visit!!!

I was passing by and stopped in for and early dinner (around 4pm). I sat in the bar and ordered a shrimp caesar salad and sweet potato fries. I enjoyed the lively atmosphere in the bar from my window seat. The food arrived quickly and was flavorful and very tasty. The shrimp was fresh and deliciously seasoned. Highly recommend you stop in.

Wife and I stopped for lunch.we were able to park our RV close to the restrauant. Inside looks like a lodge with plenty of seating. Dining is on the left as you enter and bar on the right. No waiting. Seat yourself. Clean. Friendly hostess. I had the Chilpote Beef Melt sandwich and Jan had the Chicken Tenders with onion rings (perfect according to her). Yes I would recommend that you stop by if you are in the Lake George area.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!! And do not buy anything of the kids menu especially the pizza! The pizza may look fine but it is discussing! And the French fries look like they were cooked in a hundred year old oil! And sooooo oily

Pub/Bar food. But better. If you are in the mood for this food you cannot go wrong. Their special sandwich (named after the place) is a work of Bar Art. If you like hot banana peppers, you will totally enjoy! They actually marinate the meat in the pepper juice and peppers for over a day! The burgers were good and so was everything we ordered. The service was with a smile and spot on. Sometimes they have live music. The music is in the main bar area, a small place in total, but makes for an interesting venue. The beer selection is solid, although they could use a few more on tap. Both days we went to the bar we did't need a reservation.

Excellent food and drink. A real authentic Adirondack restaurant. As a local, we've been there a lot and have never had any issues.

As long as you like goat cheese, you should like this sandwich. I loved it. Other meals included the pulled pork sandwich and Reuben. All were good. The order of garlic and rosemary fries are very crispy - good for snack or just pair with some beers. Overall, decent place and service. I would return!

We stumbled in for a late bite on a quiet winter carnival weekend and there were only a handful of patrons, mostly locals sitting at the bar. The bartender (and our server) Edward was friendly and kept an eye on us and made sure we had what we needed. The food is solidly average pub fare, not bad and perfectly serviceable, but it shouldn't be your primary objective if you're a foodie hunter like me. But on a main drag littered mostly with mediocre bar-restaurants charging tourist prices for tourist indifference, I'll take "just fine" as a win. I'm not much of a drinker but my husband liked his can of Copper Legend lager so much that he ordered another one to go. The location is conveniently central especially if you're staying on Canada St. or doing activities at the lake.

This cozy Irish American pub offers a full service bar with seating, table seating & high top tables and covered open air deck seating in the back with a view of the lake. The bar offers 8 draft beers, mixed drinks and cocktails. The food menu offerings include a selection of appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, soup, salads, main entrees served after 4pm (fish & chips, bangers & mash, mac & cheese), kids menu and desserts. The prices are moderate. I walked in here on a hot Saturday afternoon and the place wasn't very busy. I could seat myself at any table or at the bar. I sat down at a high top (B&W "Jamo's Pub Lake George" logo) close to the front window next to the bar for natural lighting since much of the place has minimal inside lighting. The bartender gave me a menu and specials flyer. The server arrived shortly after to take my order. I ordered an ice water and the Rachel ($15 plus tax) with fries & pickle, which came out in 10 minutes. The Rachel was cut in half, which had thin roast turkey slices, melted Swiss cheese, cole slaw, thousand island dressing between grilled marble rye bread. The standard golden fries were very hot and lightly salted. I did get a small box for half the sandwich to eat later on. The check was presented, which was $15.48 (cash)/$16.05 (card) with tax and before tip. I was thrilled to see they give a cash discount. The food was pretty good and the service was adequate and friendly. I would stop in again for dinner served after 4pm, so I could order the bangers & mash or the fish & chips.
