    Boat Noodle Soup

Had lunch at Bangkok @ 12 Thai and ordered the Boat Noodle Soup, so good! The broth was flavorful and comforting with the perfect hint of spice. The noodles were cooked just right, and the beef was a little over cooked but not bad. The staff were friendly and the food came out fast. The whole place has a relaxed local vibe.

A group of 13 showed up without notice and they made room for us and got us in and out without us worrying about time. I had the chicken pad thai medium. Best pad thai I've ever had. Wish I lived in Sacramento so I could have it all the time.

Whenever we watch a show in downtown, this is one of the places we go to. We've tried their curries, curry puff, pad thai, salads and the food is tasty. Recently visited and tried the fried roll and the beef pad see ew. The pad see ew is so good and will recommend. I would say skip the fried roll because for the price there is not much filling inside. It's not worth it. As soon as I got in I was seated right away and in a few minutes the lady who helped me got my order. Food came out fast and she always checked if I am good. Great service. I went evening time and there were other patrons but not so busy. Place is clean. There is a lot in the menu that I would love to try so definitely will be back. Thank you.

My coworkers have talked about this spot a lot, so when one recommended we go there for our lunch break, I couldn't say no! I ordered the pad Thai and thought it was very tasty! The portion size and price was very reasonable and I liked the proportions of everything it came with. They also went heavy on the crushed peanuts which I love to have in my pad Thai so I really enjoyed that! I also thought there was just the right amount of sauce (not too dry, not too saucy). The service was also very fast for it being lunch break in downtown Sacramento which I was impressed by. I'm sure I'll be back again.

Combo Chicken Drunken Noodle & Shrinp Tempura

Went for lunch and it was a crowded casual Thai restaurant. The shrimp tempura was delicious and crispy. The drunken noodles had more vegetables than I expected so I was chewing a lot. I would come here for lunch again.

I visited Bangkok @12 Thai Restaurant in Sacramento, CA on Wednesday, 6/5/24, around noon. I decided to order the Shrimp Fresh Roll and the Chicken Pad See Ew. Both of the dishes had a huge portion and tasted amazingly delicious. The flavor profile was there. The customer service was friendly but lacked a bit of attentiveness. I had to get up a couple of times from my table to ask the staff members what I needed. Overall, this restaurant is worth visiting.

Fried Coconut Ice Cream (tasted like vanilla ice cream TBH)

**Grubhub Order** Ordered the Drunken noodles w/chicken and Fried Ice Cream (I know, I know. Odd combination) Drunken Noodles w/chicken: 8.9/10 - Good portion. Fresh veggies. Very aromatic. Pretty tasty. Chicken was good, everything was sauced well. However, well, not a however, more so a suggestion. Ask for the chili paste (sambal). Adding that raised it to a 9.1/10 IMO. Fried Ice Cream: 8.7/10 - to be fair, it's good. I feel if it was shared with someone, it would easily be a 9.3/10. After the initial surprise of how good it tasted, I kept eating, and then begin to get the slight taste of the "fried" part of it. The oils and the ice cream was a bit much, it was still crispy though. Sidenote: I didn't taste coconut ice cream. I tasted vanilla ice cream and a syrup splashed on it. Overall, give this place a try. I will try more items and report back.

The curry here is amazing!! I've enjoyed the green curry from here and I've come back a few times to get it with different meats since I've enjoyed it. The portions are good sizes but the rice is separate so keep that in mind if you enjoy a side of rice with your curry. I've included the full menu since they have many other options to choose from. I'd definitely be coming back to try more!! Food I've tried: Chicken Satay: Green Curry Bowl of rice (ordered separately)

Decided to try this spot for lunch and definitely want to come again to try more. I ordered the Yellow vegetable curry (medium spicy) w/ white rice and they also included a side salad. The curry was flavorful. The medium spicy is plenty spicy for me and slightly sweet. The vegetables and tofu have a great bite and good texture. I also enjoyed the variety of vegetables included. I ordered pickup and they were nice and friendly. Great spot if you're in the area or looking to try a new Thai spot.

We decided to get the pad thai, pork belly pad kraw prow, pork ribs appetizer, and gai satay. They first brought out the gai satay and it was delicious. I personally thought it was pretty expensive for just four pork ribs, but the ribs were extremely flavorful. I would say probably the best thing we had even though every thing was delicious. After that they served us the pad thai and pad kraw prow. Both dishes were extended wly delicious. I would definitely come back to this place.

I had this restaurant booked under my Yelp favorites in Sacramento and decided to visit again after…read moretwo years. Unfortunately, the quality of food has deteriorated since I last visited. I'm not sure if management or chef has changed but their food is not what I remembered from years ago. We initially ordered their tofu pad thai and gai yang and immediately noticed how pricey their menu was. They have a wall of specials and I remember being shocked that their orange chicken was $24. I didn't mind paying more than what I was used to for my pad thai because I remembered their food was delicious but I was shocked when my pad thai came out. It was literally drowned in sauce and looked like it was a bowl of noodle soup. I was still optimistic hoping that it tasted better than it looked but it just tasted like sweet rice noodle soup. I was hesitant to bring it up to the waitress after two bites but so glad I did because I would have hated myself if I left without saying anything. The waitress was kind and offered to remake the dish. Instead, I opted for something else because I was afraid to be disappointed again. I ordered their tofu drunken noodles since I've gotten it here before and remember it being tasty. I confirmed that the drunken noodle was going to be a dry noodle dish and thankfully it was. It was good but not the best I've ever had. My boyfriend had their gai yang which is a marinated grilled chicken dish. He said it was pretty dry without the sauce on the side but the sweet chili sauce provided was pretty tasty. It's probably not worth $26 given the how dry the chicken was and he said he would never order it again. Overall, the customer service was great and portions were good. I had to deduct 3 stars from my previous review as the food quality has significantly gone down in my experience and doesn't justify the high menu prices in my opinion.

The small tofu cubes in the dish were hard and flavorless. Ntot a dish-ruining offense, but I must say that I didn't know tofu got that hard. Same thing for the pad see-ew. It was quite dry and had a distinctly burnt flavor the first time it came out, it tasted like ash in my mouth. The chicken was rather burnt. It's a personal preference to have a denser sausage. Service was also ok.
