Best little secret in Orem! Atmosphere is a fun mix of Thailand and Japan (loved the cute umbrellas on the ceiling and the cherry blossom trees ). More importantly both Food and Service are GREAT! We've gone to multiple Thai places across the valley and so far this is my favorite. I'm the first to admit I'm not a big sashimi fan but I do enjoy a good fried roll and I LOVE their Go Rebel Roll- (shrimp tempura, crab, cream cheese, avocado, with eel sauce and spicy mayo) and presentation was on point. We had someone who said they didn't like sushi and tried a piece and was converted on the spot. The fish in the Pla Rad Plik was prepared perfectly and the sweet spicy sauce was so delicious we ate it with other dishes, too. Be advised- spice levels are typical Thai levels where mild still has a kick. Someone ordered the Mussaman curry with tofu and they practically licked the bowl. Rice was quality and served in a pretty silver tureen. I had the Pad Kee Mao w/ chicken and it was also very well prepared with lots of Thai basil, onions, and the perfect amount of spice. They have an extensive menu that's reasonably priced, especially for the quality. The chef/owner is a darling sweet lady who came out both times to thank us and gave us hugs! She genuinely cares about pleasing her customers which is kind of a rare thing days. Restaurant was very clean and our sweet waiters always greet you with the Wai and a smile. Crab rangoons are our fave app. You cannot beat their lunch specials everything is 40-70% off and comes with soup and egg roll or pot sticker. What a find! Great flavors and textures. The light, bright and casual environment was so refreshing vs the dark, quiet, typical Thai hole in the wall. Everyone was warm, helpful, and courteous without being overbearing. The coconut shrimp was so tender and yet perfectly crisp on the outside. The spicy tuna roll was generous, and nicely-presented. We were looking for somewhere good on Yelp and love sushi and saw the 5 star rating and wanted to try it for ourselves. This is one of the few places where we agree with the rating. The food was delicious (chicken yellow curry, salmon baked roll, crunch roll and spicy California roll) and it was all fresh and well done, cost was $53. Our table had Sushi Rolls, Sashimi Dinner, beef pad Thai, orange chicken, salmon with lemon sauce. All yummy! What takes Bangkok Wasabi next level and why I'm giving 5 stars. This is the best sushi I've had in Utah, and I've had it all over! It could even hold up to some of the California sushi I used to eat. This was also THE best service we've ever had in the state. All of the waiters and chefs were friendly, polite, respectful, and just on top of it! We were super impressed and are happy to find a fantastic sushi place to add to the rotation! We have tried so many others in the area only to be disappointed. Not here! The presentation was better than fancy places we paid 2-3x per roll in SLC (and tasted way better too). My two favorite foods: sushi and Thai! This is definitely the best place for quality food in Utah county. The massaman curry was aromatic and the chicken was tender. The sushi was probably the best I've had in Utah county. I watched the sushi chef prepare it and she was very attentive and detailed with the process of making it which is good because one roll costs almost $14 which is expensive even for my California standards. The restaurant is big and clean. Plenty of space to enjoy a nice dinner with family. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by the waiter. He was amazing! Went here for a last dinner with the family before leaving, during a snowstorm no less. What a wonderful experience. The food was amazing, very fresh and tasty. I got the chicken Thai fried rice level 2 spicy (which I would have gone to 3 but I was sharing) and the Alaskan roll, my family got a lot of other food which disappeared fairly quickly. The service was absolutely amazing, I'm sad I don't live here cause I would definitely make this a frequent thing. The ambiance was amazing as-well, clean and welcoming. For an appetizer we got something like white tuna sashimi, what ever it was called I wanted more. For the main dish I got the pad Thai with shrimp and my wife got beef waterfall. Both were amazing.
