    Special (combination) banh mi

Stopped by for some bánh mì and coffee. Still a good place for it, parking still is a hassle since it share with 4 other stores and it's small. Great & friendly services, quick and easy order plus reasonable turnaround time. They do have other VNese snacks to grabs. Love their bread since it's abit chewy & crunchy outside but soft inside. The meats and the veggies are good ratio and you can taste in every bites. Coffee is fine, could be stronger, just my opinion. Prices are still in a reasonable price and the portion is good. The place is old but did got a facelift several yrs back but it has not been keeping up so it abit oldies and abit dark inside plus with all the foods and bananas everywhere, its can be clustered. Overall, with good bánh mì, good coffee and good service at a reasonable price, will definitely come back for more.

My parents love this place! The menu is simple and concise with a good range of options offered. The prices are also very reasonable considering all of the other bánh mì places in the area. Their baguettes are fresh and flaky while the pickled veggies aren't too overbearing. * Bánh Mì Bì: 10/10 - perfect amount of fish sauce added * Bánh Mì Heo Quay: 8/10 - tasty but some parts of the pork were chewy The only downside about the shop is that it's located in a small corner with very few parking spaces so it'll be quite tricky getting in. The workers were super friendly and welcoming which made my experience very enjoyable. Stop by if you ever get a chance!

I ordered the dac biet, thit nuong, and crispy pork belly. You can get long or short sandwiches. Longer ones are skinnier baguettes. Short ones are the short fatty ones like the one pictured. The service is amazing, they're quick, friendly, and not over priced. Small mom and pop shop, no frills.

Cho Cu Bakery highly recommended by Jeffrey Merrihue (former owner of Heroic Italian in Santa Monica/Beverly Hills, CA).

Why the 3.5 Yelp stars? Ouch. I had a chance to finally stop by Cho Cu Bakery and was pretty excited because this banh mi place was highly recommended by the former owner of Heroic Italian Restaurant; and also I am always on the look out for the best Banh Mi spots. I thought Banh Mi Sandwiches here were stellar. The pate and bread are above average and I love that's it's a Vietnamese grandmas/Aunties preparing your sandwiches and running the show! This place is an old-school type banh mi shop - love! Recommend: Crispy Pork Belly and Dac Biet Special. **CASH ONLY**

    1. The roasted pork in this Banh mi was crispy! 2. The spot has fast casual vibes as you mainly order and go! 3. The staff were friendly! 4. Parking lot is small! 5. There are no seatings at this spot! Note: This spot only accept cash transactions! Photo: Roasted Pork Sandwich

such delicious banh mi! LOTS of parking but it does get busy at meal times. friendly service! English and viet! Cash only! I recommend the banh mi heo quay, or banh mi with roasted pork. I always get do chua packed separately, because I am bringing to work or somewhere else for lunch (no seating). $7.50 each I am gonna come back when I feel like eating a delicious crispy and flavorful heart attack in a baguette!!!! they have a lot of different drinks that I may try too Super convenient location it's just down the street from the 22 on Magnolia across from the park and the medical plaza Edit: tried to come here today at 6:30pm. Closed, no answer when we called. Hours on the door say it should be open till 7:30pm, on Apple Maps it says open till 8pm. sorry had to knock down some stars for the inconvenience.

Still one of my favorite banh mi place. My go to order is the banh mi xiu mai + Bi, with extra sauce. The banh mi heo quay is also really good, crunchy pork belly skin with green onions. Those 2 are my favorite and go banh mi. The xiu mai bi with extra sauce banh mi, you have to eat it right away or at home, it gets messy but so worth it. I find that the banh mi here if you eat it right away, its really good, but if you leave it for a few hours, the texture of the bread changes. But overall its delicious.

Have been to this restaurant many times, and food is always consistent! Came visit to the restaurant last week, and ordered my favorite Grilled Escargot with Garlic Butter and Peppercorn, Grilled Scallops with Cheese, and my all-time favorite Chilean Sea Bass hot pot! The grilled escargots are a must-have when visiting this place! These are perfectly grilled with rich garlic butter for sweetness, and with a slight kick of spiciness from the peppercorn. Don't forget to also dip the escargot meat with black pepper and a few squeeze of fresh lime juice! If you like melted cheese, then the grilled scallops with cheese would be the perfect match. Each scallop is covered melted cheese and comes sizzling on a hot plate when ordered! Last but certainly not least, my favorite dish of this restaurant is the Chilean Sea Bass hot pot. The order comes with your own tabletop gas stove, along with a hot pot filled with a tom yum like sour soup base. For ingredients, it also includes a plate with slices of pineapple, quarter cut fresh tomato slices, fresh bean sprouts, rice noodles, and a full plate of large pieces of Chilean Sea Bass. Just put all the ingredients in the hot pot and let it cook for 5-10mins on high, I promise you it is one of the best soups you will ever have! Service is good as always. This place always seems to be busy, so you may have to be on the waitlist during certain business hours (eg holidays, prime dinner time, etc). Parking wise, the restaurant is located in a busy plaza, and so you may have to drive around a few times before finding an open spot. However as I said earlier, it's worth the wait. Highly recommended.

The standout for me, though, is their authentic Vietnamese snail dishes. The restaurant has a lively atmosphere, the staff work hard to keep up with the crowds, and the service is friendly despite how busy they are.
