Terrible service. Placed an order through UberEats and indicated twice I wanted soy paper rather than seaweed, as I am allergic. The order arrived with seaweed. I called immediately and their excuse was "they ran out of soy paper". Had that actually been the case, they should have called me and asked, like every other restaurant does when an online order is placed and they are out of something in the order. Disappointed every step of this meal. 1. I ordered online and was quoted 40-60 mins. We ended up not getting our food for 90 mins. 2. I got a call about 5 mins after placing my order telling me they were out of soy paper. How does that even happen? 3. The maki was very poorly made. As pieces were picked up they were falling part and every piece was inconsistent (some had a lot of rice was were jam packed with non-fish filler). 4. The kani salad was 90% cucumber and 5% watery sauce. Beyond that, the fake crab somehow tasted fishy. How does that even happen? 5. I also ordered the shumai. It was tasteless and soggy. It reminded me of what I think pasta that has been left int he sink strainer would taste like. 6. The spicy mayo was weird. It wasn't even spicy. There was something off about it and I ended up not even using it. I don't recommend this place at all. It is overpriced for the quality and I am honestly surprised I didn't end up sick. They were very very late with the order and the driver forgot our food and I never received my water. The restaurant called me an hour later to tell me my food was coming 45 min later!!! This place won't see my money again. My husband ordered a meal close to $50. They messed up the order and we called to ask for a refund. They refused to give us a refund and only offered 15% off our next meal. Not to mention we're regular customers. This was very disheartening and didn't appreciate the customer service. They attempted to only give us a $5 credit at first but my husband was adamant that it wasn't right. Spend your money elsewhere for better customer service. read more

Like other reviews, don't judge the food by the look of the restaurant or the staff! The food is excellent! This review is solely on take-out, I call it in and it's always ready in the time frame they give over the phone. The sushi is fresh and the fried rice is really tasty! I usually get shrimp or steak hibachi and it's quality meat. Subtracted a star solely because I feel it's a little pricey for the amount of food you get. I ordered a philly roll and a hibachi chicken entree. The regular rolls were very much over priced. The philly roll tasted mushy and unflavorful. The hibachi chicken was even worse. My family's first time eating sushi. We ate the King Kong roll and had miso soup. It was DELICIOUS!! They were so nice and helped us pick out something for first time sushi eaters. Miso soup was delicious. It's almost more cost effective to get rolls instead of specialized ones. The sushi tasted fresh.

I've only ever ordered take out. I also typically order some sort of eel and shrimp roll, shrimp tempura, philly roll, Kano salad, or seaweed salad. The food take good and fresh and the tempura hasn't been soggy when delivered. On the rare occasion of ordering raw sushi, it is fresh and delicious. The delivery is completed by Grubhub and does tend to take the full 60 minutes for it to arrive. I would recommend this place. read more

First time experience...ordered takeout for sushi and tuna tartar. Asked the server if she put soy sauce in the bag with her response being "Yup, everything is in there." Of course when I get back home there is no soy sauce. Seriously, WTF. How much more of a jerk can you possibly be. The customer reminds you of something that you shouldn't even be reminded about. And you STILL forget it. I wish I had the option of giving zero stars. The tuna tartar also was 2/5 and this rainbow sushi roll is a 0/5 because im eating it WITHOUT SOY SAUCE. UPDATE Updating this review. The delivery did show up and the driver explained how unexpectedly short-handed they were. The food was pretty good, but I'm still not sure I would order delivery again. ____ What a disaster. I was really looking forward to trying out a new sushi place in the neighborhood and Yelp's new app, Eat24. The restaurant and the app both looked great. I put together a $30 order, added a 15% gratuity, and checked out. So far so good, right? Only, the app tells me the ETA for delivery is 9:33pm. At 9:48pm, I call the restaurant thinking they would tell me my food is around the corner. Nope. They got the order and were "working on it." They'll deliver "right away." Ok. At 10:39pm I call again. I get put on hold for 10 minutes. Then I hang up and try again. No answer. Eventually, I contact Eat24 support. They contact the owner who offers to still deliver my meal in "15 minutes" after I cancel the order. Sounds like a nice gesture, so I agree. It's 11:20pm. No sign of the food, no text or call. Nothing. So, they may be a great restaurant. But I highly recommend you *dont* order delivery. read more

The Hibachi Spicy Chicken was terrible. It was the most flavorless, dry chicken I've ever eaten. I dont think they seasoned the chicken. Definitely not worth $15.
