We contacted the restaurant right away because we wanted them to be aware of the problem and actually check the food. This was not about the money. The main issue is food safety, and we wanted them to take it seriously. Instead, they told us we needed to bring the food back to the restaurant. That made no sense, especially because the order was delivered to us. If we were able to go out, we would not have ordered delivery in the first place. All we expected was for them to arrange to get the food back, verify the issue, and acknowledge that something was wrong. Instead, they seemed dismissive and unwilling to take responsibility. The food issue was bad, but the way they handled it made the experience much worse.

All I wanted was to get my check and pay and leave before the storm hit. She was talking to the new tables for a long long time. We ended up taking the check and paid up front. Basically we waited 10 minutes just to get the check. The restaurant should train their staff to keep the check with them, or have the remote credit card machine.
