Fantastic, fast and flavorful! We both ordered the #3 BBQ on cornbread. Smoky and delicious pulled pork between two tender hoecakes. Sides were great.. Green beans, Baked potato with crunchy bacon, cheese, butter and sour cream... Loaded but not too much. Highly recommended. Friendly service.. Order at counter and sit at a booth or table with a red and white checked tablecloth. The server brought our meal within ten minutes. I usually try not to review a place after only visiting once but promise to get back for a second visit and update this as needed. Went this evening with 3 friends and all ordered 3 pulled pork sandwiches each...thanks to a coupon for 5.99. So this was 12 sandwiches total for our table alone! After a general review I give this 3.75 stars which will round up to 4. Unlike some of the reviews I read on here the service was actually very well, prompt and friendly. This IS A CHAIN restaurant and the vibe inside does not give off the normal low light, divey type look of a traditional BBQ joint. Bar-B-Cutie has very high ceilings with a warehouse feel but still very clean and can smell the food when you enter. There is a little gift area in the corner that sell T shirts and the decorations of license plates and pigs, etc helped give some visual flavor to the place. I did like the center piece hanging from the ceiling in the middle that had arrows pointed to different cities and the distance to each one...even though it was turned in the wrong direction. (New York was actually pointed West and not true north). There are one or two TV's but I don't remember the volume up at all - was nice to have the atmosphere quiet so you could enjoy each other's company. So many distractions with cell phones, music, Tv and having kids with you to actually find a place that makes it easy to talk and hang out is a nice break from other places. The Pulled pork was actually quite well, NOT GREASY as another reviewer mentioned and plenty of flavor. There were 4 or 5 choices of sauce on the tables, sweet was our favorite. If I had one complaint it would be the size of the bottles did not last as all 4 of us liked the same one and with 3 sandwich's each we ran out and had to "borrow" from another table. They did have plenty of meat in each one, but the buns were not very large. I could imagine just getting one sandwich with one side and it not be very filling for us guys. Two, however would be plenty. I am also not sure if this 3 for 5.99 was for a smaller one and maybe they do have large sandwiches on the menu? I knew exactly what I wanted and did not look intently at what else was offered. The prices did seem reasonable and had plenty of options to choose from. I do wish they had friend mac and cheese bites like some some other BBQ places down the road. I love those things! The sides did seem quite small from what I noticed. The service really did help this place stand out more. When we entered there was a family at one register and taking somewhat of a long time to place their order. One of the employees noticed this and quickly opened up another register to get our order. I am not sure if it was time to normally do this or because of my dashing good looks. Our food did not take long and was brought to our table with a smile. Even though you could get your own refills there was a nice lady who walked around to ask if we needed anything or to take our plates when we were finished. I believe her name was Eirienne and was super attentive. We did not feel rushed and they seemed to really like their job. The mens bathroom was also locked for quite some time...either a customer locked the door and closed it on purpose or someone really had to go. I braved it and ran in the ladies room to wash my hands as I never can eat without washing up first (work in the medical field and ...you know). Overall I will go back again when I am in the area, I won't make a special trip. It is worth checking out and a nice quiet place to enjoy a family dinner. read more

Like a lot of places-- it depends on what you order. The customer service and atmosphere is nice. The sweet tea and fried pickles great-- and the Potato Salad is awesome!! Very dilly. Decided to buy take out lunch since we had a penchant for BBQ. I want to begin but saying i know good bbq, and have lived in the south my whole life. I ordered the chicken plate,beef plate,brisket sandwich with sides of French fries, Cole slaw, and Mac n cheese. The chicken was basically two breasts grilled and slathered with bbq sauce,no smoke flavor at all.the beef was chuck roast that had been boiled plain. Not appetizing at all.the brisket was decent. The service was great with everyone as helpful as they could be even helping us carry the food to the table. Everyone had a smile on their faces and the mac and cheese was fabulous! Where do I start, poor lack of management and "could care less" employees... The first time I got food from this place was through uber eats. A while later I tried to order again (because it was the only BBQ delivery with decent ratings nearby) it said the place was closed so I called the store to confirm, apparently they just had it turned off. So, later on I go in to pick up some food to go, this time I ordered 2 1 meat plates one with sausage, okra and Mac and cheese; the other with ribs, potato salad and beans. When I got to the store I stood at the counter waiting to be greeted. One girl was standing by the kitchen door on her phone, didn't even notice me... or maybe she didn't care. Finally another girl comes out the side and asks to take my order. I told her I was there to pick up, then I noticed she looked like she had been crying, her face and eyes were red and her eyes were glossy. I asked her if she was okay and she pretended not to hear me and turned around to look for my food. There were two guys that I could see from the kitchen window, neither of them was wearing gloves when they handed the food through the window, one of them even had a nose piercing ((both are health code violations) I myself work in a resturant). I then paid for my food and drove 4 miles home. When I got home, the ribs were literally cold to the bone, the mac and cheese was soupy and tasteless and the baked beans were mushed out. The only thing good about the food I received was the potato salad, sadly the sausage was way too salty (I had to wipe it off with a napkin). I called the "resturant" and asked for a manager, I was told there wasn't one there, so I asked when they'd be back and she said MAYBE tomorrow but shes not sure. What kind of business doesn't have a manager during operating hours?! Who sells the alcohol?! Better not be those underage girls (it is ILLEGAL for minors to handle/sell alcohol in GA and in Cobb County servers need a permit from the police dept.). They leave their "business" to be run by teenage girls and careless kitchen staff. I'm not sure what's really going on in this establishment but girls shouldn't be crying, kitchen staff should be in code and management should be present! I liked the BBQ. I ordered a large pork sandwhich and once I mixed in the right blend of how and sweet BBQ sauces the bare BBQ was enjoyable. It stops here. Normally I can ignore questionable service but this time the service was abysmal. I walked in and was ignored. Once I asked someone where to go and I was directed to the cashier (not using a POS btw). The cashier was alone and did not acknowledge my existence. Once I said excuse me she stared at me with the facial expression that screamed "how dare you interrupt me you insolent customer". Despite the passive insult I questioned her about the menu and I settled on the BBQ sandwich. Once she handed me back my credit card she looked past me at the next customer so I politely stepped to the side for my receipt which never came. I had to ask if I needed to get my own table or wait for food to which demeaningly told me to take a seat. I quietly sat and read a book on my iPhone while I waited. Once the food arrived it was tossed at me across the table and landed perfectly in front of me with remarkable precision. She turned and left without even a grunt whilst the food was traveling in my direction. I glanced down at the food and was unsure of myself and my decision to eat here. Braving forward I enjoyed the sandwhich but not the store bought frozen crinkle fries. Finally as I am finishing the article a waitress approached my table and asked if I enjoyed the food to which I answered yes. read more

My husband really likes the smoked sausage and the smoked turkey here. He prefers the brown gravy (or white gravy sometimes) to the BBQ sauces but I think the sweet sauce is fine. I prefer the pulled pork sandwhiches and sometimes the smoked sausage. My favorite sides are the baked apples and brunswick stew. Some reviewers have mentioned that the sides seemed small. However, there are different sizes, so you can get a 8 oz by default, but they also have 12 or 16 oz size sides. The salads are good and have the same scrumptious meat. read more

Their quality has seriously gone down. We received catering at work and from what I heard, the meat was decent, but not horribly impressive. I had the sides and was not impressed at all. The Mac and cheese was literally just shells in some watered down velveeta sauce which was bland and soupy. The mashed potatoes were okay, but they were probably instant. The mild sauce was the only one with real flavor, but the sauces were horrible. Baked beans were watery and bland but stomach able. Overall, meat was okay, but not the best food around. Me and my mother both love bbq and decided to check this place out last year after driving by it a few times. The first few times we went, it was good; not the best I've ever had, but not too bad. But ever since then, it has gone downhill big time.The biggest issue is that their food quality is inconsistent; one time you'll have brisket that is tender and flavorful, and then the next time (and more often than not) it will be tougher then old jerky. The chicken is terrible (I've even gotten sick from it once), and my mother has gotten pulled pork to go a couple of times recently (the most recent being last night) and both times the food wasn't fit to eat and literally smelled rotten. This last time was the final straw and we will not be going back there again. There are a lot of bbq joints here in Georgia and it's time for us to go exploring, and I suggest that any of you who read this review do the same; in my opinion, Bar-B-Cutie = sucky bbq. read more

Placed order for takeout and they would not honor monday bbq sandwich special on takeouts(the online menu doesn't mention this.). I don't find that reasonable and even after speaking with the lady taking my to-go order, she wouldn't take it to her boss to try and have it honored for one sandwich. Please?! The okra was fresh as they checked to make sure they had the delivery while I was on the phone. The vegetables were pretty good.
