Food was delicious, BBQ brisket is A MUST order, service so nice, stuff so friendly and helpful! Definitely coming back again

The fixings I chose for the Any Three Meat Combo were Collards, Baked Mac & Cheese, & Good Slaw!

10/10. Ribs fall right off the bone. Juicy brisket and pulled pork. Had to get the 3 meat combo before I moved states! Best BBQ in Plymouth for sure!! They gave me a couple pieces of cornbread too!!

Holy cow! Best BBQ north of the Mason-Dixon Line! Welcoming from the second we walked in, immediately let us know what was available to order. Got a three meat combo with pulled pork, spicy sausage, and pulled chicken. All were delish, and liked them in the order listed. Rack of ribs needs no sauce. Texas style dry rub was on point. Tried the table bbq and spicy bbq sauces and both were excellent. Chicken needed the sauce as it was dry, but everything else was good as is, and good with sauce too. Tried nearly every side for sale. Good slaw is legit and so is the cornbread. Beans were different, and ok. Didn't love them. Liked the cucumber salad. Kids liked the Mac and cheese. Brisket was sold out, and we'll be back for it soon!

Service - top notch. So friendly, so accommodating, and with your typical cafeteria style bbq joint sometimes you make it thru the line and you're on your own, but not here. They checked we were okay with the temperature in the quaint dining area, checked in drink refills, offered boxes and we were winding down - just so welcoming. 10/10 for the brisket and the cornbread - the bark on the brisket was so delicious I couldn't taint it with bbq sauce (of which they have a huge variety). Cornbread was sweet and crumbly and delicious. 8/10 for the pulled pork - tender and juicy, but not as much smoked flavor as I'm accustomed to. Still a knockout and I'm guessing would be fantastic as the sandwich option. The only thing keeping me from a 5 start review were the sides - we had baked beans and macaroni and cheese, and I think it's just a matter of personal preference here but neither were great. The roux for the Mac and cheese appeared broken and it was mushy and flavorless. Now as a vehicle to accompany some pulled pork and a little bbq sauce - it did the job. But as a stand-alone I would not get again. The beans were very unique - not your 'typical' bbq baked beans but lighter and a little more wet. I would suggest trying these - again I think just a matter of personal preference. We will definitely be back and try some different sides next time!

Looord have mercy- sinfully good. The Sliced BBQ Brisket, Collards, and Mac and Cheese had so many rich flavors and everything just melts in your mouth. The portions were perfect but I just couldn't get enough. You can tell when food is prepared with love, and this felt like a warm hug I needed. Thank y'all!! I'll be back with family and friends!

Very good, though at $7, it's gotta be something you're certain you want. Solid experience. Hard to get a full picture without trying more things, but good enough to try more. I ordered a beverage, took two sips, and immediately told the waitress that something was wrong with it. It honestly tasted as though someone had poured perfume into the drink instead of alcohol. I explained that I could not drink it and asked for something else instead. I did not finish the drink and then complain about it. I took two sips, immediately brought the problem to her attention, and returned it. When the check arrived, I noticed that I had been charged for both the undrinkable drink I returned and its replacement. When I politely pointed out that the first drink had not been removed, the reaction was astonishing. Neither person said anything. They simply stared at each other with blank looks and then somberly walked back to the register, as though I had done something wrong by asking them to correct the bill. I should not have had to defend why I should not be charged for a drink that I immediately returned because there was clearly something wrong with it. If the waitress failed to tell the bartender that the drink had been returned and replaced, that was not my responsibility. They eventually brought me a corrected bill. Despite the uncomfortable way the situation was handled, I still calculated my tip on the original total before the drink was removed because I was trying to be gracious. In retrospect, I wish I had not. A simple, "I'm sorry about that, let me fix it," would have ended the matter immediately. Instead, their demeanor made me feel as though I was being difficult or dishonest for raising a completely legitimate issue. The food was very good, but the rudeness at the end of the meal overshadowed what otherwise would have been a very positive experience. No customer should be made to feel that they have to defend themselves for returning an undrinkable drink after two sips.

We first wandered in on a cold, rainy afternoon and were immediately charmed by the cozy atmosphere. The service was warm and welcoming, and everywhere we looked, steaming plates of comfort food were making their way to happy diners. The cod Reuben with sweet potato fries was outstanding, and the clam chowder was exceptional. In fact, after trying chowder at six different places during our trip, my husband and I both agreed this was our favorite by far. The shepherd's pie looked incredible as it passed our table, but we'll have to save that for next time. The only real downside is the limited parking, but it's a small trade-off for such a wonderful spot. If you're in the area, don't miss this hidden gem!

Unfortunately, we left pretty confused about where the 4.5 stars are coming from. We were seated quickly, and the staff was genuinely very nice and welcoming. We had a booth, although it was oddly high and uncomfortable for me at 5'3" because my feet could barely reach the ledge. Service was pleasant, but after we ordered, no one really checked in on us. Our table tried quite a bit: the Reuben, classic New England cod, another cod and clam dish, clam chowder, and a pretzel. The clam chowder was probably the highlight. It had good flavor, although I would have loved more actual clams. The wine was mediocre. Unfortunately, the rest of the food was about a 5/10 for us. Nothing was terrible, but most of it was surprisingly bland and just not memorable. My cod and clam dish was especially disappointing. It came with four very large clams, but one was completely closed and should never have made it onto the plate. The cod, potatoes, and other ingredients were sitting in a pool of cream sauce, yet somehow the dish still tasted underseasoned. It felt more like something I could have steamed and put together myself at home for a simple, healthy weeknight dinner rather than something I'd be excited to order at a restaurant. Maybe we caught the kitchen on an off day, because the consistently high ratings made us expect much more. We specifically chose this place based on those reviews instead of going somewhere with a view and slightly lower ratings. In the end, we got neither the view nor particularly good food, which was disappointing. The kind staff and clam chowder were the bright spots, but based on our meal, I personally wouldn't rate the overall experience anywhere near 4.5 stars.
