Marco accidentally cut my puppy while grooming her and didn't take responsibility for doing that…read more Andrea the manager called me after a day (!) to shake responsibility and say that this cut was there before. But at the same time she said that they will pay for the visit at the vet (if the cut was not Marco's fault why would you pay for the vet visit?). I was furious when I saw that. I sent images to my vet and she was concerned about the depth of the cut (she said it's definitely looked like a cut made by grooming!) and that we should make sure it's not infected. My puppy tried to lick the area and we had to put her on an Elizabeth cone for two weeks. It took long time to heal. I was a loyal and happy couture using their services with my previous dog for over 14 years. The fact that it took the manager Andrea a day to call me and check on my dog only to say that the cut was there and not to take ownership for it- lost me. I will have to look for a new place!!!

He even allows him to clean inside his ears without a growl or an attempted bite. If we tried that, we might lose a finger. But not with Wallyson! We used Love and Care multiple times when our standard doodle was still just a puppy and she was…read moreabsolutely terrified of getting into the car to go anywhere. The only way we were able to get her groomed was by having someone come to us. Her haircuts were always so cute, and she has never been fluffier than when Love and Care was grooming her. They did a really good job of giving us what we asked for in terms of hair length and overall shape. Eventually, we ended up going with another groomer for a couple reasons. First, mobile grooming is more expensive than regular grooming. I mean, of course it would be - they're coming to your home and have to have everything on board. Second, and this is the biggest reason, is that the last time we had our girl groomed, it was a warm day and she came back to us so overheated and panting so rapidly that I was concerned for her health. I'm not sure whether or not the van was air conditioned, but her physical reaction was disproportionate to any anxiety she would have had getting groomed, especially after having had it done by the same person multiple times. Because I'd read about a dog dying from overheating in a van with another groomer (not Love and Care!), I was really on high alert and concerned, so I made the decision to take her to a groomer with a shop that I know is air conditioned during the summertime from that point forward. This was my own anxiety and I'm not saying Love and Care did anything wrong, just that I didn't want to risk it. If I ever needed a mobile groomer again, this would likely be the first one I would call, I would just need to make sure it was a cool day before attempting that again. One minor quibble, and I'm guessing that it's not something that happens often, but we had them come once and ask to use our power. Not only our power, but they needed our extension cord. It wasn't all that convenient for me to stop what I was doing, find our extension cord and run it out to the van, and when you're having a mobile groomer come out, convenience is basically the whole reason to pay extra. And although it probably didn't amount to much in electricity costs to us, it was certainly not 0, and we were still expected to pay the full amount when they arrived unprepared and not properly equipped to do the job. I could have just as easily said no, or could have not had an extension cord able to reach, and it would've been a wasted appointment slot. It wasn't egregious enough to dock a star, but it's something to keep in mind if you elect to go with this company.

He was able to get to my location in 45 mins after I sent out the quote request. I was looking for a new groomer for my golden retriever specifically because he hates getting his nails trimmed. Enzo was very reassuring in getting that done without issues. I also needed a full bath, body trim, paw trim and brushing/deshedding. The results were great! And he gave us a little bandana that had a very pleasant scent. Enzo also provided links to one of his deshedding brushes which was highly appreciated. I would recommend his service to all fellow dog owners. Especially golden retriever parents.
