I told her that was not the standard hair cut for a Schnauzer. I understood it would be more work and offered to pay more money. She said no. Her tone of voice was very rude. Why didn't Groomingdales tell me their policy of not untangling matted hair in the first place? It would have saved me from wasting my time. Then, I called O My Dog in Foster City. Gustavo was our grooming yesterday, and he was great at listening to our requests for DOOM. Though…read morea little late due to traffic, the session itself was almost less than an hour, which was fantastic! DOOM had a bath, as well as the teeth, brushing and mouth spray, and we had specifications on what parts of his fur should be trimmed, which would just actually be around his feet, and Gustavo executed perfectly. We actually had doubts for this groomer, as a previous one, returned to our dog with red eyes, which was alarming since it wasn't communicated prior to the session ending, which for us was a really big deal. We gave them another shot, and Gustavo did really well. We had a slight language barrier issue, and Gustavo whipped out the Google translate, which I think was very proactive, and answered any questions that would help put us at ease. On top of that, he also sent a few pictures during the session of DOOM to put us more at ease, which I really appreciated. Safe to say, I will happily be rebooking for the next grooming session. He was able to get to my location in 45 mins after I sent out the quote request. I was looking for a new groomer for my golden retriever specifically because he hates getting his nails trimmed. Enzo was very reassuring in getting that done without issues. I also needed a full bath, body trim, paw trim and brushing/deshedding. The results were great! And he gave us a little bandana that had a very pleasant scent. Enzo also provided links to one of his deshedding brushes which was highly appreciated. Dantas is not only fast and professional, but he also follows location and meeting instructions perfectly, which made everything seamless. What stood out the most was how incredibly sweet and loving he was with our dogs. It's clear he genuinely cares about them, and that makes all the difference. Our chipoo, Bear, who had been groomed here before, came out looking exactly the same as last time--consistent styling we really appreciate. This time, we also brought our second pup, who is a bit smaller and more delicate, and he came out looking just as cute and well cared for. There was small hiccup on coordination of appointment, but honestly the good overshadowed that completely. The appointment number to text, their administrative team is quick to update and very complete with updates. They made up for whatever complications and had understandable reasonings. The care and special handling of all pets they work on is exceptional. My two scaredy-cats adore them and they always come out beautiful and truly pampered. It is difficult to find anyone who will groom cats and give the same outstanding service that dogs consistently get. We do have to admit cats are difficult and mine can be very difficult yet Oscar handles them with kid gloves, and they truly look like they've been to a beauty salon. My long hair cat gets a lion cut, which is difficult to achieve, but Oscar makes her look like the queen of the beasts every time!

Extremely disappointed with Alpha Pet Mobile Grooming. I booked grooming with Henry for my two cats…read more(tabby and calico), and each appointments lasted only about 15 minutes for a wash, cut, dry, and nail trim. It was obvious afterward that they were not properly washed and their nails were not clipped. I'm attaching the photo I took of her nails after they said they completed the nail trim. Clearly you can see they are still over grown. When I reached out, I was told someone would come back to fix it- no one ever did. Later, they falsely claimed a groomer had already returned. After I called that out, they said the groomer wasn't comfortable with my cats, which was never mentioned during the appointment. Poor service, lack of honesty, and no accountability. They refused to offer a refund. I would not recommend.
