Great bookstore! We really like coming here and spending time as a family. Kids enjoy the upstairs kids' area where they have a great assortment of kids' books as well as toys. The kids also enjoy the train track table they have set up. It's a great place to just let your kids play sorta quietly while parents browse through a few books. The kids area really is top notch as is the selection of books and unique, educational toys. The cafe is great too. The store has a layout that makes sense and makes browsing easy. Barnes and Noble - Favorite bookstore! - Bookstores Near Me - Wesley Chapel, Florida

This B&N has become a giant brick and mortar ad for Amazon.com. They used to have PCs where customers could look up a book or author so they could find it in the store. These are gone, replaced with password protected (yes, I got tired of waiting and tried to help myself) PCs at stations with labels like "information" and "customer services". I guess these are ironic labels, as there is never any information or customer service to be found at said stations. The book I wanted was not in either of the two sections I assumed it would be, so after standing at the "information" desk for over 10 minutes with no sign of staff, I went looking for employees. After a fruitless search on both floors, I cupped my hands to my mouth and called out: "Are there ANY bookstore employees here?" several times. Still no luck. Eventually I tossed the two books my son found onto a table, went to the parking lot, and ordered those two as well as the one I wanted from Amazon. They will all arrive in 48 hours for the same price. I guess it's clear why brick and mortar bookstores are going out of business at such a furious pace... read more

Oh Barnes and Noble, how I love thee!! This one was a welcome addition when they built the Shops at Wiregrass. It's close to Moe's and JCPenney, so you can easily stop by for some lunch and then go get a coffee and read at Barnes & Noble. The store is huge, with two floors, and a nice Starbucks and seating area. The children's section upstairs is really nice, and there's even a spot where you can sit while your kids play with a Thomas the Train display. Score! They sell toys here, as well, but I love how they placed them outside the children's book area so that you aren't being begged to death the whole time. Several kiosks are available to help you find your books, as well as friendly associates. Great selection; I've never had trouble finding a book I was looking for. And they will order and reserve books for you. Lots of magazines to choose from, as well as music and movies. They also have a pretty nice selection of board games and gifts. read more

I wish I read more, because I would hang out here often. This place is huge...it's a bright, calm and quiet, fresh environment and it smells wonderful in the areas nearest the Starbuck's located inside...unfortunately that is also where all toys and puzzles are located, and one of the main reasons I frequent this B&N so often...my son loves the (expensive) novel toys they sell here. I wish he read more too. There are plenty of places to hide and read in here. We've wandered quite a bit with very little offers for assistance. It's hard to tell who works here and who doesn't. New books are expensive; I can usually find the same books online MUCH cheaper (new and used). I wish I could judge them by their covers. I wish they had discount used book section (I've bought a couple of discounted new books, only to discover why they were discounted two to three chapters in). Or a recycle/exchange section..."have a book, give a book; need a book, take a book." read more

I take my kids often to Story Time at B&N. The staff is amazing and great with kids. The story is clean and welcoming. The children have a great time reading new books and playing. read more

Great selection of books,magazines and they will order what you need if they dont have it with no questions asked. The starbucks is a starbucks and they are usually slow because they are very sweet and personable to everyone but thats not bad unless youre in a hurry. A cool thing about books is the newer generations dont seem to read them so in turn this place has huge sales and thats good for us! :) Seriously,I just picked up Poe's complete works and some Lovecraft for about seven dollars each. There are tons of instructional items also which is lovely and you can pick up a nook! Also there is a nice area to relax and enjoy your coffee and the newest issue of high fructose. read more

I'm not the biggest fan on Barnes and Noble (I used to be until it became too popular for the masses= even of the non-book reading variety among us). This is the classiest and largest BN I've ever been to (New York and Philadelphia included). The workers are extremely nice, helpful, and have a seemingly true enjoyment of working there. I love the Florida history section and regularly purchase something from that section. Overall, an excellent compound and the best of it's kind I've ever visited. read more

Almost none of the seating that used to be provided was available despite the store's considerably large location and ability to social distance. I found a spot to complete some of my work that requires WiFi in an area where I could effectively social distance with a mask on; however, I was then berated by a worker who prompted me to either leave or sit in the cafe for a maximum of 30 minutes. read more

Lots of nostalgia when it comes to Barnes n Noble. The routine goes like this. Walk into the well lit store that is decorated to match the season. Then the aromatic coffee leads you to the seating area. My favorite part is when "my spot" is available. B&N has been one of my top places for studying. I wish they would change the closing hour back to 11pm. There's weeknight vampires like myself that enjoy the uncomfortable dining area chairs while reading. Many hours spent studying here during undergrad and all the way through medical school. High pressure cramming and low key leisure reading. Now as a father, I bring my son to enjoy the kids reading sessions or just snack on some sweets. The kids club membership offers special deals and discounts throughout the year. Ironically, I've never purchased a book from any B&N. I should be nominated for some sort of "nob-le" prize. Keep up the good work B&N. What a success story for a business. read more

We love coming to this place for fun. They have different story times and lots of other random kid events. And mommy can get a coffee to get her through the day! It's always a fun stop when we take our "mall walk" on nice days in Wesley Chapel. We recommend. read more

I've always enjoyed this Barnes and Noble for the atmosphere and usually buy books elsewhere however... I saw a book on Barnes and Noble's website today listed on sale for $14. I was thrilled because the list price is $20 and I'm frugal. I came in and while checking out was given a total of $21 and told "sorry we don't price match." ...but it's literally Barnes and Nobel's own website and same product. I was then told I needed to place the order online and select the pick up in store option in order to get it for $14. Sooo I did that and it's now been entirely too long. They apparently can't see my order in their system although I have the confirmation number I received via email and everything. I should've just gone to a different bookstore. 100% will purchase books from Amazon from now on. read more

Honestly I never had a problem with this store until last night. While I was at this location I was with a couple of younger kids (no younger than 13. I was looking at some books, thinking of purchasing one, until an employee tells us "if you're just going to goof around leave." Like WHAT? We weren't being loud and if we were you could've asked us to be quiet or if we were going to buy something. The kids were just talking and I was looking at books. Later the same employee told the kids they'd call their parents, like hi I'm actually their guardian for now and I was a fully paying costumer. They weren't doing anything that should make them result to kicking us out. read more

Great Barnes & Noble. Unlike a lot of bookstores, this one doesn't often seem to be in disarray. Shelves are neat and not picked through. Lots of quiet spots to sit and read. The food in the cafe is good (not amazing, just good), but the drinks are hot and it's convenient to grab one and sit and browse books. My only complaint at this location is how hard it is to find someone who works there on the floor. You always have to walk around a bit to find someone. read more

Generally I enjoy coming to Barnes and Noble... Until it's time for me to use the restroom. 99% of the time it is NASTY. I was finally so fed up with the way it looked I took pictures. BUYER BEWARE !! Check the B&N website before you buy in a storefront . Bought 2 books at the store today to only discover that the website sold the same books for $17 cheaper! One book alone was a $15 difference! And as an added bonus, if you pay the higher price at the store and lose your receipt? You will only get the lower website price back regardless of where you bought it. Now if you ask a store sales associate the excuse they give for NOT price matching to the website is they say they are not affiliated with the website. Well if this is true, why are you only giving back the website price on a no receipt return? It can't go both ways gang and with these type of business tactics you can bet that I am DONE with Barnes and Nobles. Dispicable business practices. read more

5-stars is for the coffee, the ambience, and the convenience. It is a two-story book store with almost plenty of places to sit (I'd like to see more comfy chairs), a coffee shop (great for meeting people) and its at the Wiregrass Mall, (which is an outdoor mall) so when you need to sit a spell or get out of the heat, Barnes and Noble is a great escape! read more

I went to customer service to get help finding a book and the lady behind the counter gives me the attitude telling me she is clocking out. I didn't even say anything to her, she could have at least called for assistance. I waited for 10 mins before anyone helped me. It's the only big box store around so you don't have a choice but to go there but getting someone to help you you have to find them and you get a lot of pointing and stuff I'm actually going straight to the place. But there are a lot of super nice employees that are super helpful and the management seems super sweet. And most importantly the stores very clean and mostly organized. read more

I love this bookstore! It's very big with a second floor. A large variety of books to browse through. Several desks on the first and second floors if you just want to get some work done. The cafe is great, they brew Starbucks coffee. Overall, Barnes and noble of wiregrass is the place to go! read more
