I had just purchased a full set of tires online and had them installed by another tire/wheel business. Literally, 2 days later one rear tire is flat with 2 screws in it. Of course, I went back to the original shop so they could (hopefully) patch it up. They tell me the whole tire needs to be replaced and patching it isn't an option. They also said I needed a new tire sensor, which they priced at $80, alone. I decided to hold off on the new tire and sensor and drove to Barney's the following morning. They offered for me to leave my tire with them while I went to work. I got a call only a couple of hours later from them saying they were, in fact, able to patch it. They also replaced the sensor. Final price? Less than what that other place wanted for their sensor, alone! I'm so glad I decided to swing by Barney's "just to see" because it saved me a bunch of money. I truly appreciate their honesty. They definitely have a new client with me and those I've raved about them to. Thanks, guys!!! read more

This place caught my attention with the 5 star reviews . They have great prices & customer service. I'm glad I left Precision Alignment & Brake, their customer service needs improvement. Person behind the counter seemed to be too busy on his computer that every question I asked he gave me a dumb look or he was just being himself. Barney's Tire & Wheel is the total opposite. I was told there was five alignments ahead of me. But after leaving the previous place I figured it's worth the wait & their price too. Went to Mickey D's to buy a happy meal to my kid and after getting there my car was done in less than an hour. Oh and don't forget to check in for $10 off!! Not the same place.... I've been coming to Barney's for many years, so I've become accustomed to a particular level of experience. Today was definitely not to level level that i had grown to expect. I had a flat which required patching (pretty simple situation). This is something I've had Barney's do in the past. I arrive at 7:30am (at which time they just opened). Only one customer ahead of me. When it was my turn, I explained the tire situation and I was informed that it would be $25. That's not too big of a deal, but all the others in the past were free. So, I waited in the waiting area and after an hour and a half of waiting and seeing several customers who came in after myself complete their repairs, i walked out to see my vehicle sitting as if it was ready to leave. I walked to the counter and asked. They grabbed my paperwork and said, "yeah it's done, just $25 and you are ready to roll". After I paid, I brought up patch fee and asked when that changed. I was told this changed over a year ago and go see it online.. that was a weird answer.... then I was told that Steve no longer works there. That also was weird (I didn't ask that). So much for the good old mom and pops type of shop feeling it had before.... Felt like I was in some chain tire store.. looks like it's time to find a new shop. read more

I bought tires online and called around to get them installed. A lot of shops seem annoyed that you're not buying tires from them. Not Barney's. They gave me a price, and did everything possible to make it a smooth process. They were a bit busy, and I didn't make an appointment, so it took a bit longer than expected. Without even asking, the employee offered a discount and apologized multiple times. The new tires were shined up nicely, and I was on my way. Don't waste your time calling other shops, just go to Barney's. BTW, every customer that came in the door was treated so nicely. This is just a really great shop! read more

I strongly recommend that you stay away from Barney's Tire & Wheel. These guys can't give you a straight answer. They sound good over the phone, but that's it! Also during my visit another customer came in requesting a repair on a large tire that they said they could fix over the phone, but he was given a different story when he came in. I needed a new wheel and they quoted me between $65 and $85, but wouldn't be able to order until after the holiday weekend. Then they quoted need it would be $95 with install, and when I finally got the part it was $95 for the wheel and an additional $14 plus tax for the install. A few days ago I went in for an alignment without an appointment. I was told the wait was about 1.5 hours. I thought that was reasonable, so I decided to go forward w/ the work. An hour and a half goes by and I noticed my vehicle had not been moved. I asked the only guy at the front counter that if he was not too bust could he check the status on my vehicle. He appeared to be in the middle of something while at one of the registers. He looked at me, chuckled (as if I was that dumb not noticing he was in the middle of something) and asked what work was done on my vehicle. He stepped to the back to check. A few minutes later he told me they just got done working on another vehicle and mine was next to be worked on. I told him I already waited an hour and a half and could not wait any longer so I asked for my key back. He had such piss poor customer service that he was unapologetic and he did not appear to care if a customer walked out unhappy. I don't think it would've been unreasonable for someone to tell me that the shop was running behind and that my service would be delayed. Instead, I wasted an hour and a half of my time. I thought this experience was weird because I had my vehicle aligned there before and the customer service was great. Needless to say I won't be returning. UPDATE: The following day, Shane took time out of his day to reach out and apologize for what happened. He actually called me directly vs. texting me. He explained the situation and said one of the company's weaknesses was to provide better service to the people who are waiting. He made it right by offering to take care of me the next time, should I choose to return. He assured my wait time would be approximately 30 min. Shane contacting me said a lot about Barney's Tire. I have never had any business make this kind of effort to save a customer. I appreciate Shane's level of customer service and plan to give him a second chance. read more

Swooped by the shop after a tire alignment down the street at the shop's recommendation. I originally went to Pep Boys the week before for a flat tire (they neglected to tell me the wheel had a crack in it, that caused the wheel to deflate again!). There, they told me about the small leak in the other wheel. They advised that I buy another new tire from them, since the repair would be impossible because of low treading. I felt something was wrong, because the tire was only a couple of years old and I don't drive very often. So a week goes by, after I got the other wheel repaired and my alignment completed, I come here. They confirmed the small leak, blaming a nail in the tire. They repaired it for free, to my surprise! Holy crap, so awesome. Thanks gents! Ill remember to come here if I run in to any other problems in the future. read more

Called around for quotes of course, but most charge more since I didn't buy from them, and those charges don't even come with lifetime balance and rotation. I contacted Barney's for a quote, Gave me a straight up, reasonable quote with lifetime balance/rotation. Matter of fact, they do that already with no purchase necessary! Got the car dropped off, installed the new tires, called me for status update that they were done, and even gave the convenience for me to pay over the phone! I was having issues losing air pressure on my passenger side rear tire for my Genesis since this past Sunday. Today, I have to take an unpredictable day off in a attempt to find out what the issue was because my tire keep loosing pressure. I took my car in thinking there was an issue with my rotors. They looked at my car diagnosed and ultimately the issue was cupping in my tires. No charge for the diagnostics.
