Great menu. Great food. Great service. Great seating. Had lemon pepper chicken wings, they were big and seasoned perfectly. We shared the wedge salad it was perfect for sharing. Then we got a 10 inch pizza. The pizza has a really good crust and plenty of toppings and not greasy. We also were able to take advantage of the happy hour menu. Which was a really nice surprise. We decided to take a piece of cheesecake home with us. We enjoyed meeting the owner(s) they were there engaging with people and we always enjoy that. Makes us feel especially welcomed in! read more

Barrel District used to be one of my absolute desert favorites. Good salad bars are few and far between in this area, and they had this fantastic "create your own salad" option--sort of like a salad bar you order. I visited at least a few times each month, often more. They then dropped that item from the menu which was a major disappointment. Without a doubt they still serve very good "basic" food, and the service is still quite good. I'll go when friends suggest it. You'll certainly still get a good meal there. But sadly the loss of that great, unique salad item has made the place go from really great to just OK in my book. read more

Seemed like an off night tonight. Sat at a table for atleast ten minutes before even being greeted by server. Asked if we were ready to order and we were. Didn't feel like a priority at all and have had good experiences in the past. Food was also a little lacking in presentation. Never offered water where other tables were given a bottle and glassware. Sat next to a really loud table which definitely impacted the experience when there were booths and seemingly better options available. Disappointed and bummed because we usually enjoy ourselves here and have recommended it to many others as well. read more

We had a cauliflower crust pizza with spinach, avocado & tomatoes added. . The crust was a little dry, the tomatoes as you can see were in slices, would have preferred diced. The spinach was like a spoon full from a can, one scoop on each slice (I did expected a few fresh leaves on each slice) and one slice of avocado on each piece. I like everything about Barrel District. First thing, we walk in and are greeted warmly. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The happy hour is the best. My brother and I split a pizza, each had salad (love their dressing) and split the bruschetta. Hubby had salad and wings. So good. Then chocolate cake. We enjoyed the quality, price and portion sizes of our food. The vibe is great there, we love it! Forgot to mention, hubby loves the Coachella pizza. Remember to ask if they have the vegan flourless chocolate cake. It's the best. read more

Went in a few weeks ago because of the reviews. Our waiter was super friendly, and the food was decent. I ordered the Salmon and it said it came with rice pilaf and veggies of the day. Well, it was super disappointing when my food came out with white plain rice. When I asked the waiter about the rice pilaf, she said 'I don't even know what that is. This is our white jasmine rice'. Both on their menu and online menu it doesn't mention 'white jasmine rice' anywhere.. And their 'veggies of the day' was literally all of their pizza toppings cooked together. The salmon barely had any flavor. The atmosphere was nice I would say, but we sat inside next to a lady to had her dog in a stroller. No service animal indication whatsoever. Amazing happy hour food and prices. This is a brewery and they have their own craft beer with a few rotating taps of other breweries typically in the region. Their craft beer is good. Recently ate here again. Had the chicken strawberry salad. The salad was good bit the chicken was horribly tough. Another friend had same salad and was complaining of the same issue. The food was superior but our server, Melissa, was amazing. Having worked as a hospitality foodservice worker in my young adult life, I know when I see someone make the most efficiency of every motion and movement throughout the establishment. The place filled up quickly as the lunch hour arrived and she took care of everyone, both inside and outside, better than almost all servers with less tables to attend to. The environment was great and the food was excellent but all of that was made a superior experience by one of the most professional servers that I have ever watched perform their craft. Bartender happened to be new. Was not trained by mgmt very well. You can tell he has been a Bartender in the past. Didn't know where the house beers were brewed. Got my order wrong and told many customers that he didn't know what items tasted like, because he never tried them.Waitresses complained about time waiting for drinks and he really rushed people about what they wanted (drinks and food). I enjoy the atmosphere of the Barrel, but the lack of training is so evident and shame on mgmt. It won't be a good to place. read more

I have no idea why these ratings are so high. It was just mid. The wedge has 2x the amount of dressing it should have it was literally drenched. The blackened salmon was just bleh definitely over cooked The kids burger was a terrible excuse for a patty it looked like an old McDonald's patty. Online take out is easy. Pricing and portion sizes are fair in this day and age. Totally Recommend them! Patio is super cramped, but fans and misters during hot season make it bearable.
