Food: delicious! We had the wings as an appetizer. They were a good size, not all tiny lol. Even though they were tossed in buffalo sauce (very yummy) the wings were still crispy. I had the shrimp ceviche which was surprisingly good. I'm Mexican and it was so close to how my family makes it! I liked that they made their own tostadas too. In that time, they asked if I'd like appetizers or anything - I did. I had the sushi appetizer. Not the worst I've had, but I won't order it from here again. Next, I looked for veggie options. HOLY COW! They had a lot of good items, not just a smattering of stuff. When my friend arrived we ordered and everything we got was great. I had a vegan pizza. The crust was amazing and the "cheese" was done perfectly. We also had a couple cocktails, also a win. The place isn't too loud and the tables are not crazy close. That said, the tables are closer that I'd of liked, but it wasn't too bad. While waiting, I got to overhear a couple of interesting conversations. Thank you for having a full vegan menu! This is wonderful in the valley as there is not much vegan. And they have more than just an "impossible" burger. I really loved the vegan desserts. Had the chocolate cake, tasted so moist and decadent. Focaccia was very good too. My husband had fish tacos and loved them. But he really loved the churro donuts. We will be back. I've been coming here for quite awhile and the food is always excellent! My last visit I emanated to try the vegan toppings for my pizza to try something different and was impressed. The pizza crust was crisp, soft and chewy. The sauce was also delicious as was the cheese and all blended well in my mouth with the perfect ratio of sauce, cheese and the toppings. They have a rotating tap and always look for a super hoppy IPA and never been let down. Service was great as usual. The staff are always enjoying themselves. I love the decor and ambiance. The tall ceilings do make it a little loud at times since it's the brewery warehouse vibe. OVERPRICED SERIOUSLY FLAWED The woman who took my phone take-out order was as stone cold as the pizza that my husband rushed over to pick up for my birthday. She was more intent on getting our Visa card number than anything else. And this was before she knew this was going to be a $72 order. On the plus side, the Cajun Shrimp Tacos had no issues and there was an ample amount of avocado slices provided. It went downhill from there. The Seafood Cocktail at a whooping $17.95 had itty bitty pieces of indiscernible seafood in a red sauce and came in the smallest size plastic container. What a rip off! But that wasn't the worst of this disastrous experience. The average price for a large pizza in the U.S. is $17 according to the New York Times. This pizza was $23.95. I asked for tomato and basil overall with half mozzarella, the other half without. She said this was categorized as a "make your own." I thought that was odd, but she was so off-putting, I let it be. We were shocked to see a pizza with raw sliced tomatoes and a few scraggly pieces of basil. They got the cheese part right, but they really screwed up the crust texture. The dough was heavy and far from crisp. We have gotten much better pizza from our corner grocery, Gelsons, and from Whole Foods than from Cathedral City's Barrel District which I'd describe as TRENDY AND UNFRIENDLY TO YOU, YOUR TASTE BUDS, AND YOUR WALLET.
