Happy Hour menu

Great happy hour, friendly staff. We tried the fried zucchini....yum and the tacos too! It's a bustling little upscale place with valet parking and repeat customers.

Just a couple locals enjoying Foxy's happy hour 'at the bar....

All around a 5 ...this place exemplifies a top notch business! It makes you feel appreciated to do business with them...treat their customers with utmost respect with attention to the details...valet at the door with pleasant greeting to hold the door open..welcome staff at the maitre'd desk...servers politely and pleasant! Food and drinks impeccably prepared and served.

Excellent choice! I felt like I stepped into the days of Frank Sinatra. The leather seating, mirrors on the wall and the live entertainment. So classic. Our service was superb . Laura E. made great recommendations. We started with the most tastiest stuffed mushrooms ever. I tried the Osso Buco, wow so much food. That pork melted in my mouth. My guy enjoyed the Mediterranean halibut. Dessert kept the streak going with the carrot cake. Spirited drinks especially Mrs. Foxy's lemon drop. Love this place!

Yummy fresh pasta

Let's start off with our server, super great guy, but I don't remember his name, I'm sorry. The chicken Parmesan was the best I've had in decades. Very fresh and crispy and practically melted in my mouth. I took more than half of it home. My husband had the chicken fettuccine with mushrooms and sun-dried tomatoes. He ate the entire thing. We were here when it was "Shame on the moon "restaurant.

WOW. Dinner at Foxy's Kitchen + Bar was nothing short of phenomenal. I'm beyond grateful I discovered this place, it is hands down one of the top two or three restaurants in the entire valley, no question. The chicken piccata was out-of-this-world amazing, and the clam chowder? Honestly life-changing. Every bite was perfection. The service was outstanding from start to finish, and the owner personally came by to introduce himself--such a warm, genuine person, which made an already incredible night even better. I cannot wait to come back and bring my family because this place deserves to be shared. Foxy's has officially become my new go-to, and I'll be recommending it to everyone I know. Absolute gem.

I am giving foxy's kitchen and overall rating of five stars because the service and the ambience are outstanding. From the moment we arrived the valet gentlemen was so nice and our server, Janice was so sweet and efficient. We loved the beautiful atmosphere. It was so nice of them to let us know that they have happy hour from 4 to 6 in the Dining Room in the summer up until September. We thought that we were just coming to dinner at 5 o'clock but then we got to order our drinks for $11 and an appetizer of fried zucchini for $10 that was excellent. They also served sourdough bread which was probably the best I have had in a long time along with the real butter which is hard to find nowadays. So it's good to know that summer is a real plus price wise if you order drinks and a starter before 6 o'clock. Mom loved her chicken and pasta dish. My husband and I ordered the Pescatori which we only thought was OK. I think that dish could use a little more work on their part. We are definitely coming back and we will try a different entrée next time we loved the flowerless chocolate cake, however, the coconut cream pie did not have much flavor. FYI

You know what they say about 3rd time is a charm, we'll it was. Ours was the celebration of a birthday. From valet to closing, 3 hours of pure enjoyment. Raining on the outside of the restaurant and all sunshine inside. What evening out does not start with the first stop at the bar where Toni and Dave are knocking out drink orders left and right. All seats are taken spare two where a lady moved over one chair so my birthday lady and I could join the most ebullient of partakers. A Vesper Martini for me and an Oaxacan Old Fashion for my wife. Closing out our bar bill we were notified our table was ready and Danny, a host like no other, took us to the table and ensure we were set up with water and a waiter. Foxy's have a very lively crowd of diners so taking in the the evening diners was its own sort of entertainment. Lots of people that aura of success and confidence that allows them the swag of being dressed to the Rizz or stylishly simple. However, whether young or old the atmosphere is alive and somewhat festive. Micheal, our waiter, burst on our scene and alerted us that water and menus would be coming and not within a few minutes later Daniel appeared asking us what kind of water we would like while Michael went to order our drinks. It so happened that this same evening our grandson was playing in a semi finals high school football game and we were able to stream it. Seems sort of out of context to go to a top notch restaurant and while celebrating a birthday to also stream a high school football game but being grandparents has its benefits and not holding on to formalities is one of them. Micheal came back and my wife ordered the 8 Oz Filet Mignon with Peppercorn Sauce and I had the Pescatore. No pictures of the entrees but I can guarantee they were served hot and full of flavor. The Filet was so tender it could have been cut with a normal knife, the pasta and seafood were like they were made for each other. The shrimp light and crispy and the calamari breaded and tender highlighted the sauteed salmon and scallops on a bed of linguine. Although we shared a wedge salad it was like an opening band playing before the headliner comes on stage. They may be good but you know what you came for and they did not disappoint. Micheal brought the gratuitous birthday one candle deep dark chocolate cake with whip cream and a stem if mint which was a fitting encore to an three hour tour de force. Yet we missed Tim's table visit and the Las Vegas Raiders woes of football conversation. However, we will be back for more of Foxy's food, fellowship, and fun. PS: The grandson's team won.

Osso bucco

I think this restaurant is pretty cool. It has a very cozy and intimate seating with nice lighting. The ambience is everything that you want for a date night, classy, but not too stuffy. Overall, I would rate the food, a strong, four out of five. It really was the amazing service that pushed me to rate Foxy's a five star instead of a four. My husband remarked several times that everyone seemed genuinely happy to be there and I agree. The calamari was nicely seasoned and so soft. I love the garlic aïoli dip with it. My osso bucco was great. My husband and I did not really care too much for the pork chop that he had. The lobster mac & cheese was interesting. The cheese sauce was prepared perfectly maybe a bit too much garlic even for this garlic lover, but with every bite, I found myself asking where is the lobster? The tiramisu was traditional, no surprises there. Our cocktails...I have to say, were fantastic. I look forward to coming back.

The happy hour menu. Saw those meatballs delivered to the neighbors at the bar. HOLY SMOKE were they BIG.

Melody and I were going to go see a show this evening. We had discussed where we would take dinner before the show. We tossed around idea after idea, the usual spots, etc... She said "where's the show" and I responded Rancho Mirage. So she started looking around RM for a place to go. We found two places. First was Foxy's. Second will be mentioned in another review after we go there. Upon arrival, I found this GLORIOUS 1967 Pontiac GTO parked in front with the Valet waiting to take my (somewhat dried-mud) pickup truck. He took my wagon and sent us inside. Not asking for a name. I'm thinking - this kid's good - remember us by looks. So we go inside, the host was incredibly gracious, asked us if we had reservations, and upon hearing we did not have reservations asked if we would be willing to sit at the bar. Being escorted in, the room was amazingly finished. Low, warm lighting with nice touches of torchiere on pedestals, and lamps on the tables. The bar was deep and well kept. We were seated at the two seats at the far West end of the bar. IDEAL location. Try to get these seats if you can, you get a view of the bartenders at work, and you get to see all of the people lining up to be seated at the front door. (edit here) - I forgot to mention Toni, our bartender. What a terrific bartender/server. He was super attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. We started with a couple cocktails. We discovered they had a pretty nice happy hour offering and Mel got the Lemon Drop. I had the Martini. Their happy hour menu is pretty nice. Did the Shrimp tacos. She had a salad of greens, roasted beets and avocado with chicken. Not completely satisfied, i ordered up the cajun seasoned halibut. WOW OH WOW - the sauce was amazing on top of that linguine and it complimented the fish beautifully - even though i was still sipping on that martini (should have gone with the wine suggestion, but what the heck). I got to meet the owner of the GTO - it was Tim, the owner of the place! WOW - i related to him how i had a 1967 Pontiac LeMans convertible that i worked all summer at Taco Bell #118 in Orange to buy that thing for $600 - and how i had modified it in high school. Exchanged a few laughs. What a gracious host. In any case, bottom line, we really enjoyed this place. It will be on my list places to call my default when i am on that side of town. Five stars it is. Great place all around. Oh, and the kid at the Valet? yeah, he recognized us and immediately ran to get the truck. Tipped him well.

I've seen places that supposedly offered it but I get there, it's a whole different concept of it. Well, I may have found one that's worth it. Plus a lot of places do close early on Tuesday's and Wednesday. Also not open those days as they tend to be more mellows. Anyway, we found this place last minute. It's part of a strip mall with a few other Mexican restaurants surrounding it. Once inside, there's a bar to the left right by the door when you walk in. Restaurant is to the right where the main seating area is. There's also a back area but it was utilize for a private party that night. At first we were kind of iffy as there was barely anyone there but since we were here already it was a go. The waitress was quite friendly and very sweet. Throughout the while dining experience, they constantly checked up on us to see how the food was and if we needed anything else. Made sure we were taken cared of and enjoyed our experience. Then comes the menu, quite a lot of dishes that you would typically get at a Mexican restaurant and some that seem to be new. The birria ramen which lately have been seeing at loads of Mexican restaurant. Of course as it was Tuesday, we came for the tacos. Before you walked in, there's a board that says tacos Tuesday, 4 tacos for 10.00. Thats a deal that's worth it. Either chicken, al pastor, chorizo and buche. Of course that was needed. We wasn't quite sure what buche was so opted out from that. Started off with a cold beer as they have draft and price was quite nice. 2 order of the tacos, one with 2 chicken and 2 al pastor while the other was 2 al pastor, 1 chorizo and 1 chicken. When the dish came out, it was well plated. You usually see just the tacos alone but it was plated with slices of cucumber, radish, grilled onions and grilled chili peppers. Quite nice. And of course I had to try their birra ramen. Seems lately that Mexicans restaurant are incorporating that dish to their menu. I'm also on the hunt for the best...lol... This dish too was quite tasty. Pretty decent bowl full of broth and loads of meat. Served with a side of onions and cilantro and lime slices. The color was nice. Had a dish a while back where the color of the broth was pretty light and watery. This place was nice. The tacos were very tasty both the chicken and al pastor which also had slices of pineapple added. Chicken was flavorful and chorizo was goods. Onions and cilantro also added but asked beforehand if we wanted them. Beforehand, three different salsa was brought out, spicy medium and mild. Wow, both the spicy (red) and medium (green) were delicious. The right amount of spicy and perfect for the tacos. Food was delicious both the ramen and tacos. It's with the 10.00 for the four tacos and birria ramen was tasty and delicious. Worth it. Glad that we found this place. And the staff, all very sweet and very friendly. Attentive and made sure that we were well taken care of. Didn't have room for dessert but will definitely be back. We got seated at one of the booth which literally looked a lot to the men's restroom. It was fine but not a thing you want to see while eating.

Second time here and love this food so much. At the recommendation of the server, we got the…read moreArriero and Torta de Lomo with the sauce on the side. Casual setting. You walk up and order, pay, then you can seat yourself and your food is brought out to you. The man who brought out the food and checked on us was very attentive asking if we needing anything else several times. Two of us ordered off the "Early Bird Special's", which are served daily from 3 PM to 5:30 PM. We both ordered the 3 piece fish & chips. They were very good. Three large pieces of fish and potato wedges, everything fresh, also instead of coleslaw we were able substitute for a $1 more a small Cesar side salad. The dressing was good, very tasty. My daughter ordered off the regular menu, she got the Hawaiian Combo. This has salmon, mahi-mahi and grilled shrimp, teriyaki sauce and grilled pineapple, with sweet potato fries and a Cesar's salad, as her sides. She said everything was very good, except the shrimp was a little overcooked. We also ordered a side of cheese garlic bread, which was fresh and tasty, did not disappoint! We have been to the Palm Springs location as well, a few years back and we remember that location also having good food and we were closer to this location so we decided to give it a try. The mussels are normally cooked with some kind of pork, which I don't eat, but when I asked if it was possible to get it without pork, they said they could definitely do that, which is never expected but definitely always appreciated! The lamb chops were delicious and cooked to perfection. They came on a bed of some sort of salad, with some aioli and mint jelly. Personally the salad and jelly didn't work for me but my husband's short rib (which was also cooked perfectly) came on a bed of cauliflower puree which was so delicious that I ate half. On night two, I ordered the lamb chops again but requested they be served with the cauliflower puree, and they happily obliged. My husband got branzino, which he thought was good but I thought it was great, and I usually don't care for it. Pro tip: They offer a $15 corkage fee but I think you may have to ask when you make a reservation and they also have a $15 coupon (business card) at the front desk. The service was great, both of our waitresses were perfectly attentive and the bussers were on point. This is now one of my favorite restaurants in the area and we plan to come back every time we are in town.
