I ordered their house salad which came with lettuce, tomato, shaved Mozzarella cheese, cucumber, asked for light onions and got light onions. Also came with croutons. Portions were very reasonably priced. $20 for each plate. Food was very delicious, hot and full of flavor. We didn't get anything to drink. It has a great patio, bar, and indoor seating. We got great service from few of their employees who were nice, kind, helpful and knowledgeable. They even told us the plates were hot before setting them down on the table. Not all servers warn you! They sure earned their tip. The menu is pretty vast and at first, we wanted to order everything from the menu. That's how it is when you are so HUNGRY! One can only eat so much.. Great restaurant, few parking spaces, we parked outside. Got lucky to find parking in front of the restaurant. Has 2 restrooms, didn't use them. Place was a very cozy, cute restaurant. However, we did not realize the emphasis on a Jewish menu until after we were seated . . . lox, blech, gefilte fish, yuk . . . so we kindly apologized and were about to stand up and leave. A very nice and understanding waiter began rattling off more traditional food item suggestions that certainly sounded good. I am glad he did. Their food is fresh, plentiful when it comes to serving size and ingredients (see the attached photo of the sandwich I got) and their service is prompt and attentive. We did not get any baked goods, but they also sure looked good as we walked by the display on the way out. It has a comfortable, open and well lit atmosphere. We are very glad we decided to stay.

i was back in palm springs at a resort (santiago! excellent!... but have had the same at twin…read morepalms, and descansos) where they again provided absolutely delicious, convenient lunches from aspen mills. the food is fantastic. such a delight and respite in the middle of the day. as before, my only criticism is-- aspen mills in my opinion UNNECESSARILY uses SO MUCH PLASTIC to pack the food that for me at least eating is is truly a GUILTY pleasure. sandwiches that are about to be immediately (within 2 hours at least... since ordering time at resort is 11 am for 12:30-1pm delivery) do not need to be packed in nearly indestructible plastic that lasts forever. what's the point of organic and earthy this and that, when you top it off with environmentally unfriendly wrapping? as i said in my earlier review- almost any of these sandwiches (already wrapped in a sheet of paper), can simply be put in a basic paper lunch bag with the little extras (cookie, pickle, a tiny tub of potato salad or bag of chips!) that is more environmentally friendly (and certainly cheaper than a plastic box, to the company). the plastic boxes within 20 minutes of lunch delivery, are discarded and simply clog the resort gargage pails, and later and probably forever (certainly longer than you or i will be alive!) the eco-system as they are tossed. so so wasteful, unnecessary, and what a strain on the environment that could easily be avoided. i just looked up the minimum breakdown type for this plastic in a landfill: 450 years. ouch. seriously. so easy to do better so why not do better?
