Barro's has become my #1 go-to for pizza here in AZ. I like that they crust isn't super thick, nor is it very thin. It's a happy medium in-between and perfect every single time I order. My favorite is the Barro's Special. Whenever my mom visits, she loves it, too. I've never ordered any other pizza but I'd imagine they are just aa good as the Special. I also ordered Lemon Pepper Wings from this location and they were so good! I love that they don't skimp on the seasoning, either. The service is always exemplary and the employees are very friendly. I have not eaten at this location in San Tan Valley, but each time I have ordered for pick up, everything has gone smoothly. It's a casual restaurant good for a relaxing laid back dining experience. The staff is friendly and lots smiles. There are plenty of TVs, but not closed captioning isn't turned on all of them. That would be nice to do so we can know what is going on the screen. There is a small area set aside for kids to play games. The music isn't loud to interfere with table conversations. They were accommodating my special dietary need by giving me a "crustless" pizza. I ordered on line which was easy. 6 honey BBQ wings with ranch dressing and celery and a mini Barrio specialty pizza. It took a little longer to be ready then the app stated. Got home opened the wing box and no celery, but the wings were delicious. The pizza on the other hand was not good. Barrow pizza has always been three things for my family. Consistent. Hot. Correct. The pizza is always the same we've never had a "bad" product, the wings have been overcooked a few times and the sauce got skimpy but that's not a constant thing. The food always comes to the table screaming hot, you can tell it spent ZERO time under a heating lamp! I've never had to send anything back, their kitchen is on point. This place has a young, friendly staff, who are very accommodating. They work very hard to make your meal an event. There are two large areas for seating, with a zone geared for young kids. I always get the meat pizza and antipasta salad, and am never disappointed. read more

tl;dr Go to Geno's next door instead for pizza and wings. Not too busy at 7PM on a Sunday. However, it was difficult finding a clean table. Unoccupied tables covered in crumbs and greasy handprints with garbage underneath. Our wings were quickly served but the order was wrong (ordered bone-in, received boneless). They did address this mistake by serving our original order free of charge. Our pizza was served about 20 min after we order. No issues, it was good! If you get hangry and are a bit of a germaphobe i do not recommend this restaurant. Maybe check out Geno's next door. read more

Barros wings are YUMMY. I love my wings slightly crispy so the wings aren't slimy. My favorite are sweet teriyaki.

The dining area stays filthy. Those workers never come to clean the tables. I was so excited to have barro's the other day and I honestly stop going because of the dining area and figured well maybe it's gotten better? nope. Still junky, crumbs, oily tables, ranch. Dirty floors. Trash built up on the tables from previous customers. So not worth going here. read more

Got an email today (9/18/24) at 10:13am about a 1 large 1 topping pizza for $13.39. Coupon valid thru 10/7/24. Good for dine in and take out only, not online orders. Great. Called and placed my order and the girl I spoke to had an attitude right off the bat. Told me to show the coupon upon arrival. Husband went to go pick it up and everyone had an attitude and no one would honor the coupon because they "haven't seen this before and the owner hasn't put it into place yet." Okay so then what's the point of this email?? Get it together. It's only a $1.20 savings, so whatever. But it's the whole concept of it. Great selection and variety of items, their ranch is also AMAZING! Higher recommended, good prices too and their pizzas are big!
