I don't know why it's taken me so long to leave a review despite coming here since college (10 years ago). Food hits EVERY time. Vibes, check. Service is a little slow, but not a big deal especially if you're with friends and sipping on margaritas and mojitos. I will say parking is a nightmare lol. The lot fills up so fast. But I'll wait for a spot if it means being able to dine here.

Another great lunch here. Started off with a margarita, of course. Always freshly squeezed and perfect. I had to have the chopped salad which I crave. Ordered fish taco, duck taco, pork Carnitas and the tuna. The tacos were all juicy and delicious. Our waitress was a doll and very efficient. We will be back soon.

    Seating/ambiance

10/10 service and an amazing experience. The pork belly tacos were incredible, and the tuna taco were immaculate. We tried about 14 tacos, and those were definitely the standouts. The music and ambiance were perfect--it felt like I was in my own little world. Aside from the tacos, the plantains were great, especially with the dipping sauce. The street corn surpassed expectations, and the cucumber salad and fruit bowl were also delicious. Mika's service truly made this a night to remember. If you're having doubts, just come and experience it for yourself!

I love coming to bartaco! There's a huge parking lot that is ALWAYS FULL. Get on the wait list via the app before you come because it's always busy! This lessens the wait. We love to sit outside. So cozy and great vibes but it can get loud. We always order through the QR code so you can pay for your food right then and there and you don't have to wait for someone to come take your order. Their guacamole is amazing. The tortillas amazing. I love all of their tacos, especially the pork belly and the ahi tuna, and I can't wait for the lobster to be back, because the lobster taco is awesome! I also had coconut ice cream in a cone and it was the best. I've tried their churros and their key lime pie, as well as the cucumbers and plantains. All super awesome!

Bartaco in Port Chester, NY. It's#bartacoMargaritaMarch at Bartaco and there's no better place to have marg than at Bartaco! Truly one of my favorite places ever, Bartaco has vacation vibes all year round. The margaritas this month are all built around Libélula tequila--their custom blend that's smooth, balanced, and made for sipping. The tacos, guac and bowls always hit the spot and I can't wait to go back! Dos piñas margarita: Libélula Joven Tequila + Dos Hombres Mezcal + Pineapple + Lime. Watermelon mint margarita: Libélula Joven Tequila + Watermelon Combier + Mint + Lemon. Guacamole and Chips: hand-mashed avocado, lime juice, serrano chiles, onions, and cilantro. Kale Chips: ancho chile seasoned and roasted kale chips w/ vietnamese inspired dipping sauce Esquites: sweet corn kernels tossed with cotija cheese in a creamy and tangy mayo sauce and topped with cayenne Sesame ribeye taco: shaved ribeye beef marinated in a sweet sesame-soy sauce, topped with spicy kimchi and cilantro Chile-lime shrimp taco: spicy and tangy chile-lime marinated shrimp resting on a crisp and bright jicama escabeche and finished with a zesty pepita salsa macha. Crispy oyster taco: shucked and fried oyster served over a remoulade sauce. Pork belly + crispy rice bowl: braised pork belly caramelized in sweet arbol chile glaze + sesame bean sprout salad + pickled red onions + crispy rice. chicken verde rice bowl: chile + herb marinated chicken + roasted corn + tortilla chips.

Great tacos and the soup was delicious! Great place to dine near the waterfront Service was quick and courteous. Had a great meal/dining experience

The atmosphere is great! Service was nice, and the tres leches dessert is good too. But the cons are the tacos were a hit or miss...Hudson Taco in Newburgh does a way better job with their food than this place, so I wouldn't return for the food again. Maybe for the bar atmosphere.

The ambiance of the place is very chill beach vibes. The decor is like this as well. The service was good especially from the manager who kept checking in on us to make sure we were doing ok. The food is definitely the star. I had the cauliflower, mushroom, and chicken taco which were all filled with a bunch of flavor making me want a second round of each taco. The kale salad was delicious. The tres leche was also very good, not overly sweetened but just the right amount of everything in a cup. Definitely better second experience than my first.

Great spot with lively atmosphere. They have a big indoor and outdoor covered area for seating. There is a big parking lot right next to it with free parking. Lots of staff, the place is constantly busy. Ive only come during weekends for lunch, but it's consistently packed. You can order a bunch of individual tacos and other items. I like the fish taco and the guac. They have some rotating specials depending on the season.

We found street parking since we came in around 6p. The restaurant was fairly empty but it filled up midway through our dinner. It's lively and nicely decorated. We ordered drinks first, and the cocktail menu had some nice options. Too sweet for my taste so I ordered wine. Simple collection to choose from. Then we had the lamb meatballs. They were very good, especially with the sauce. Not gamey. The fried artichoke was definitely a hit with the dipping sauce. Some of the pieces were a little too dry and I didn't taste much artichoke overall. The roasted romaine was a nice take an a Caesar salad. Grilled asparagus is self explanatory. The pizza was really good but I avoid gluten now so I only had 2 bites; husband loved it. I had the scallops which were too rubbery for my taste. I was hungry so I finished the whole plate after another round of drinks. The staff was attentive and professional. There were smiles at our arrival as well as departure. We were very happy with the experience here. We will come again!!

It smells so strong you cannot imagine eating anything while smelling it. Why are they not using any of the many non smelling cleaners available? Like every other restaurant!?! Please Tellys!!! I actually love their food most of the time and would go there more often if not for this issue. Sometimes the calamari and octopus are not as fresh as they could be which of course is a big problem. They need to coordinate with their other restaurant to make the ingredients always fresh!!! Love the marousalata, grilled octopus (sometimes) and many of their other dishes. If they did better marketing or PR (youre right next to the town of Greenwich where people love and can afford your food but no one has heard of you!) they would have more customers and likely fresher food! My suggestions: 1. Stop using fabuloso- clean with a smell-free product 2. Only fresh food always (no old seafood or meat! Dangerous!) 3. Marketing and PR!

I'm a tough critic, having worked in restaurants for a decade, so take this seriously: the service was impeccable and the food was perfect. The dining room is lively -- yes, it's noisy -- but that energy comes from a full house of happy diners, which tells you everything you need to know. We started with scallops: buttery, golden-crusted, and exquisitely tender. I had the veal saltimbocca -- one of my favorite dishes anywhere -- and Sergio's version is by far the best I've had. Dessert was a Basque cheesecake with a perfect balance of texture and sweetness. In five years, I have never had a bad meal or a lapse in service here. It isn't cheap, but it is absolutely worth every penny. Ignore the haters.

They also offer an enclosed atrium area, which seemed like a quieter option--but the heat was a bit too high for us, so we chose to sit inside. It was quite loud, so next time I would try the atrium area near the entrance for a more comfortable noise level. One of the highlights right away was the complimentary antipasto: a nice plate of mixed cheeses, olives, and sliced salami, along with a basket of bread. The thin, crispy salted bread was seriously addictive--so good! Paired well with our Aperol Spritz. We started by splitting the fried zucchini flower blossoms stuffed with ricotta, served over tomato sauce. You get two per order; they were good. For entrées, my friend ordered the Pollo Fino--strips of chicken breast topped with asparagus, shrimp, and mushrooms in a white wine citrus sauce. It came with four jumbo shrimp, and she said it was incredibly good. I had the Pappardelle alla Boschiola with prosciutto di Parma and green peas in a pink sauce. It was a generous portion and very tasty. I later noticed the menu included mushrooms, which didn't seem to be in my dish, but I did not catch it at the time. We finished by sharing the Napoleon dessert--my friend had raved about it. The flavor was good, and our server nicely split it for us, but the pastry layers were quite crunchy, making it challenging to eat. Overall, a fun atmosphere with tasty food. They have a big parking lot offering valet service.
