A shout out to the wonderful frosty glass the cosmopolitan was served in and unique style of glass. The drink was one of the better vodka drinks I've had in a while. I don't know if it was the crowded nature of Valentine's Day or just the new location, but it seemed like a well oiled Teppanyaki factory this night... but a bit unpersonable service, a bit more rushed, and less private dining at the new location. They have a lot more tables than they did at their old location with not a lot of privacy in between the tables and 'the show' seems to have been scaled back, with no actual fire (lighting the onion) but the portions and flavors were still just as I remembered, garlicky, salty Teppanyaki, goodness. Our chef did his best dry humor jokes, and was a talented chef as most appeared to be (as I know anyone that is juggling knives, metal spatulas & food around I know is well practiced and trained) - it's not an easy job. The filet of beef was one of the most tender items we had, the lobster and shrimp were equally as good as was the fried rice. The vegetables were a nice mix of bok choy & zucchini mostly with bean sprouts , a great mix and the portions were good. It's nice to know that the new ground floor location is doing well and is an easy option to get to from eldorados valet. The valet now has a $15 charge we found out that doesn't have a validate option but since we had leftovers in a box, it appeared, they didn't charge us. Also to note - there was a $50 deposit requirement to book the reservation - perhaps again this was just due to the holiday. this was a bit clunky and several at our table they were trying to hunt down to refund the deposit to the card, and you had to have the original card, seemed like they could have just used it to credit the dinner later.
