Since the canton location opened this has been one of my favorite destinations for bar food. The burgers are delicious and completely customizable making every burger that you create a new experience. The wait staff has always been friendly and though I'm not a huge drinker they have a good selection and good prices. I would give this bar five stars however they took my favorite appetizer, the jalapeño poppers off the menu. Seriously who decided that was a good idea!? They were delicious on their own and the sauces that were served with them made them even better. The place is a little small and sometimes requires waiting for a table but I would honestly wait for an hour to get a chance of eating those jalapeño poppers again. Basement burger bar is the bomb! I always walk in and am greeted, the staff is extremely friendly and ready to help you find your burger! I ordered a buyer with bacon, and some fries and they were both fantastic. The fries were fresh made to order, so when they made it to me they were steaming hot and I loved every moment. The burger came on a grilled bun that was fresh and crispy. The meat was a quality beef that was juicy even when cooked to the higher temperatures. I have been back many times since the first and will continue to return as long as the meals keeps turning out the way that they always do. Not to mention how clean the location is. I've been to this location a total of three times. The only thing they seem to have right is the food. I've had their Bison Burger, Black Bean Burger, and original Beef Burger and all were exceptional. Zak, the bartender seems to be a caring and standup guy. The atmosphere is cramped and simplistic. All of the cocktails are freshman-year sugar bombs, whoever makes this list must really live simple syrup. The beer selection is decent, given they only have a few to chose from. The other two visits I had a female bartender wait on me who seems to lack any sense of emotion whatsoever, so much so it made my partner and I feel uncomfortable to sit at the already intimate bar. You have to hand it to them though, if you want to feel like you're in a cramped basement (just like that name) - they hit the nail on the head. read more

Just had this place for the first time. I've passed by many times and never payed it any mind but after being out at a hookah lounge I was starving and my boyfriend found this place and since it was one of the only things open so we picked this place. We got in and the server was so pleasant he got our food out to us in less than 5 minutes. We arrived at 1:20am and we'd eaten and got back out to the car by 1:48am. I got the sweet potato fries with their cinnamon sauce & a custom burger. Both were great! My boyfriend also got a custom burger and beer battered fries (which i tried and they were also good). Hostess is not friendly, tells us it's a fifteen-thirty minute wait to seat us even with MANY open tables because "the kitchen is backed up"... For the size of burger I got (the 8oz beef) I felt there should have been more flavor. Nothing about my burger made me want to return to the place. Selection of beer sucked as well. We've driven past this place many times and we finally tried it today and we're pretty disappointed. The service was fast but the food wasn't the best. The mozzarella sticks tasted good and the fries and tater tots tasted like every other fries and tater tots. The dissatisfaction came with the burger it wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. It's a 2 inch thick patty and it was hard to eat and it lacked flavor. After a few bites you soon lose interest in the Burger and your done eating it. The restaurant is also very small, not fit for big groups. The tables are very small the brought out all the food very fast which is good but they didn't give us time to finish our appetizer to make some room on the table, we had to balance our 5 plates on a very small table read more

I was dining at BBB Saturday night on a double date and we had the best restaurant experience we've had in a long time! Our server Brooke was awesome!! She gave great suggestions (the pretzels with cinnamon butter were delicious) and she catered to our every need and helped all of us through the process of building our own burgers (which turned out amazing!!).
