Gorgeous restaurant. Intimate but lively. Amazing service. I started out ordering a non-alcoholic beer. They didn't have it but said they would check next door at the craft brewery they also own. No luck. They actually sent an employee out to go purchase it and I had my beer before our appetizers! Who does that? Bask does. Wow. French Onion Soup and Burrata w Heirloom Tomatoes were amazing. Raw oysters. Perfect. Lamb rack w seared carrots and mashed potatoes drizzled in an amazing gravy. Cooked to perfection. Fried Lobster. Excellent. Ambiance is antiquated, I feel 15 years older just getting inside.My table had an awkward set up; very uncomfortable combination of booth, chairs and small round table. Is just overpriced because it doesn't offer anything special for the price. I had a ribeye that I returned because it tasted disgusting ( first time in my life I do this in a steakhouse). The first time I came here, it was a first class experience. It appears they have a few bugs to work out. We had an 8:15 reservation and we were not seated for 20 to 30 minutes later. When we were seated and placed our drink order, it took another 15-20 minutes. Entrées were average.The best thing I had was the elk carpaccio, broiled oysters and wedge salad. I had the elk tenderloin, which was room temperature when I got it, My wife said her fillet was dry and over cooked, and the collard greens were a little over sauced. I enjoy FTE, it's sister restaurant, so hopefully they can fix this, because it was not cheap. read more

We've been a few times and have had a great experience each time. Today, we came for happy hour and wanted to do dinner awards. The oysters took forever, as did our steaks. But when the food came each time it was so good it made up for the wait. Restaurants aren't going to execute perfectly each time, but it's great when weaknesses are outshined by a different area. We came to here to celebrate our wedding anniversary with our 18-month old in tow. It was such a pleasant experience - our server, Alexander, was attentive to our needs. The rest of the service team were also very attentive as well. Everyone was courteous and conversant. I admired their patience with how many times they folded our napkins and neatly placed them on the table every time one of us left the table (we took turns taking our child outside when he started to get bored or fussy). Their food was great - we had the pork belly appetizer, which our child loved! Caesar salad, Filet Steaks, mac & cheese and mashed potato sides. And for dessert, the buttermilk cheesecake. Take note that the side portions are huge and can be shared. It is definitely not a place for kids to run around in. So, if you're bringing kids, make sure that they are entertained in their seats or let them burn their energy outside or in the small waiting area as you enter the entrance door. I love how there is ample space in between the tables because this allowed us to maneuver around with the baby without bothering those sitting near us. And the noise level was low (we had an early 5:30 PM dinner though). Lighting is on the low side and sets a chill vibe/mood. I was surprised to learn that they are a fairly new restaurant. They seem to know what they're doing as if they've been doing this a while. I am impressed. I will definitely keep this in our list of places to eat. read more

We were initially thrilled to dine here as first timers. Our expectations quickly dwindled with the wait of the appetizers taking 20 minutes and the 15 minute drink times. Elk Carpaccio doesn't need to be cooked as it is served cold, so there was no need for it to take 20 minutes. No reason for this other than negligence. Sheer disappointment throughout the meal. First time dining here, and we will not be back. The wallpaper looks that of a funeral home, and the food is WAY too expensive for what they "think" they can do/pull off. Over $300 for a party of two - money wasted. Can't even execute a med rare steak and the sides were cold. This establishment completely embarrassed me in front of a business client. This is clearly a "Mom N' Pop" that thinks they have all the answers to providing "good service", but the owners, according to their own customers are "clueless". If only the management knew what they were doing at all. This real estate location would thrive under a new concept with new owners. read more

Valentine's dinner at Bask was great. The entire staff were welcoming and friendly. Our server was attentive but not overbearing and had a great sense of humor. Steakhouse ambiance and nicely decorated. The food was great! Elk carpaccio is a must have! Steak was cooked perfectly. I made a reservation on 1-13-24 for 1-20-24 at 8:30pm. When we arrived the hostess upon entrance was extremely rude and nonchalant. We were never seated we actually left and went to another restaurant Little Alley Steak. Steven Bruce the general manager was very rude when we asked about how much longer we would have to wait to be seated. At this time it was well after 9pm. He became upset with us because they didn't have a table for us and after waiting 45 minutes for a table that was reserved a week ago. The main hostess was very aggressive anytime we asked about being seated. He told us he was trying to help us and we could leave. My mom told him we weren't leaving and we hadn't done anything for him to put us out. He said well I don't want you all here. My mom told him he's not the owner he can't make us leave. He lied and said he was. He also proclaimed to be Tim Stevens which is the real owner. Once he realized someone was recording he then changed his attitude. Instead fixing the situation though the general manager and the main hostess were very combative. read more

This was one of the best dinning experiences I had in a long time! Everything was top notch from the service to the food and ambiance. Our server Alexander was absolutely wonderful and knowledgeable about the menu and recommendations the drinks were also made well. We started off with the cold water oysters which were delicious and fresh and the cocktail sauce with horseradish was the icing on the cake we also had the pork belly which was a decent portion and it was very flavorful and melted in your mouth. The entrees didn't disappoint with the classic filet cooked to perfection and the lobster tail both steamed and fried paired with its own sauce was so good. The sides were amazing which we got recommended the seafood Mac which was immaculate and the garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. Dessert we had the bread pudding and buttermilk cheesecake. I give this 5 stars. It's classy intimate beautiful atmosphere and vibe. Definitely will be back. read more

One terrific steakhouse in East Roswell. From the decor of the restaurant to the desserts--all upper class. Terrific salads and thick French Onion Soup with just the right amount of cheese. The rest of the party had ribeyes and filets. I enjoyed the halibut Oscar, truly fresh and tasty. Sides were wonderful with the best being the creamed spinach and the French style Hasselback potatoes. Dessert did not disappoint with a flourless chocolate cake and creme boule. Alexander was terrific guiding us through all the courses. This is a gem in East Roswell. read more

Spent 199.00 on a 32 oz Dry aged Tomahawk steak and received a hopeful 24oz steak. I have been to every steakhouse in Atlanta and heard great things about this place. Well, was this information very inaccurate to say the least. Our steak was NOT aged, and when mentioning to the manager, as a courtesy of the false advertising, he said he would take care of the steak. It wasn't our intent for this option, however when providing the bill it is was only a 50% discount. If your going to provide accurate communicate then you should stick your word and not be a LIAR. The service was great but the manager and food sucked. Go to Outback for a similar steak but much cheaper! read more

Another triumph from the team behind From the Earth, Bask is the new high-end-star of East Roswell. And all of Roswell. FTE is one of my favorites, so I went in with high expectations, all met or exceeded at Bask. The space is beautiful with comfortable seating & a cool vibe. Our server was attentive without being overbearing & staff kept our water glasses full. My party of 3 loves steak & Bask delivered as we ordered a NY strip, ribeye & my favorite, the spinalis. Each steak had a great char while being beautifully tender inside. My dining companions enjoyed the truffle butter while I went for a classic bernaise sauce. Garlic mashed potatoes were perfect, but the star side was the hassleback potato. It is a delicious & different option. We started with stone crabs & the only nitpicky thing I could say about our whole meal is that the claws were a little small for the price. They were still perfectly fresh & delicious. We couldn't resist trying a dessert & the cinnamon roll bread pudding did not disappoint. The sauce on it was amazing. Cocktails were also delicious & my husband's dirty martini was well dirtied. I'm excited to go back to sample more of the menu, some different cuts & maybe the fried lobster tail. read more

Loved the ambiance - smaller restaurant, not loud and the booth was very comfy. We had a great waiter. Will have to say the lamb was probably some of the best I have eaten, incredibly tender and not gamey. Steak prices were a tad higher than I have seen at other places in town. This is one of, if not the best steakhouse we have been to. Our steaks were amazing and cooked perfect, as were our appetizers, which included the elk. In addition, we sat at the bar and the two bartenders we had were the best, attentive without being intrusive. We will be back!! read more

UPDATE: The mngr called me today and apologized for the unacceptable service. He gave us a 100$ gift card, so hopefully all will go better next visit. We chose Bask last Saturday night for a birthday dinner for a friend visiting from Dallas. We had 8p rsvs and were seated around 9p. NOT a good start but were told we'd be comped some apps. Never happened. The food was good but the service severely lacking. We were chastised for ordering "too many sides" (most all of which our party of 5 ate), took forever for drinks, and although our waitress told the birthday girl happy birthday, we weren't offered a birthday dessert. Several tables around us had desserts with candles so I asked them if they had ordered them and they said no. Why we weren't offered that, I have no idea but at that point we just wanted to leave. The food was good, but the horrible service outweighed the food. My husband and I had dinner at Little Alleys two nights prior and the service and food was way superior. Tried something new and it didn't work out. Hated it for my friend who we were celebrating. I will add that a few days later the manager left me a voicemail inquiring about our "experience". I called back and it's been two days now with no return call from the manager. So close to trying to make it right, but no cigar. Two stars for food. read more

I wish I had more than 5 stars to give! I have dined here twice now since they opened, and everything is impeccable!! The restaurant itself is gorgeous! The decor is beautiful and the bar is absolutely fabulous. The food is beyond. I have tried a variety of menu options and I cannot recommend enough the porterhouse T-bone steak and the hasselback potato's (I get them French style). The steak is PERFECTION. The deserts are insane too. I literally fantasize about the bread pudding. You truly cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. For cocktails, the Foggy Bottom has stolen my heart. The wine selection is vast as if you're looking to pair your meal with a fabulous wine. The service is a cut above as well. You are well taken care of in the hands of this staff! Everyone is so knowledgeable about the menu and very quick to keep your drinks full and table fresh. Definitely fine dining quality service. This restaurant is truly on par with the best of Atlanta steakhouses such as Marcel and Hal's. I'm so happy the owner has brought a space as beautiful and decadent as this outside the perimeter. Even our reservation was not held timely and although the decor is nice it was awkward having to stand around the front door waiting for our table. This place has a long ways to go. Decent quality food, but not exceptional. I'll be going back to Little Alley. They cooked my $102 strip well done, when I wanted medium rare. Then it took 25 mins to bring the replacement. They even tried to double charge me for the 2nd one they brought out! I never send back steaks because it ruins the meal. We have never have had to send one back at Little Alley. But this one wasn't even close...... We had a $1000 table, and they decided to comp my dessert. WOW! Thanks so much. You screwed up my meal. the service was good . our waiter kept running off in the middle of a question, but he was ok. the food wedge salad was good. the lobster tail had a weird thick batter but the lobster was good. my ribeye steak was good not great but good. the sides were apparently amazing according to my husband and son. they loved loved the seafood Mac n cheese, the creamed spinach, the Parmesan truffled hassleback potatoes. the desserts were amazing. I not sure I would drive 45 min again to dine there but glad I finally got to try it. read more
