Lindey knew my dad was driving from Elk Grove to almost Vacaville to pick up the cake, and she gave him the cake that wasn't even in a box, so he had to drive with one hand and protect the cake with the other. When I picked up the cake I wasn't that impressed - it was cute, but for $60.00 I expected more. I then took the cake to my daughter's party, and after she blew out the candles we cut the cake, and I watched decorations pop and roll off onto the floor, while parts of the cake collapsed. I gave each person a piece. Each person that received a piece of cake, including myself and my daughter, left it on the place without eating it. The cake was so dry it tasted like sawdust - i was awful!! After further investigation I discovered she's never been formally trained nor does she have a certified kitchen. This is the difference between a professional who takes the baking profession seriously and an amateur who is possible just a bored housewife. My recommendation is to go with a quality bakery if you want quality.
