Pretty bad customer service. Their online cake ordering was down, so everyone had to place their orders over the phone (multiple people inside with the same issue). I used a coupon code online, and they told me when I ordered it over the phone that they would accept it. They weren't accepting them when we got there- said the coupons that we were all trying to use were for online orders- duh! Online ordering wasn't working! Baskin Robbins still has it! Nice and clean location that offers a large amount of ice cream flavors. The staff is very generous and the prices are always fair. Ordered items: a cone with the caramel cheesecake ice cream. I was surprised to see the variety of flavors in this location. The staff member was a nice Asian lady who was very helpful. She allowed us to sample many different flavors until we found the one we wanted. The prices are fair and the ice cream was very good. Overall, fast and good ice cream. The selection of flavors is impressive. I recommend the caramel cheesecake flavor. It was unique but rich and sweet. I will be back for more ice cream soon. read more

A neighborhood staple! I have honestly tried all the different gourmet ice creams around, but BR's mint chip sundae is my favorite. As a person with a huge sweet tooth I do not take my dessert reviews lightly so I say this whole heartedly, baskin robbins is the best quick dessert you can find. This review is about a cake. Not just any cake... My girlfriend's FIRST ICE CREAM CAKE IN HER LIFE. I ordered the Caramelectric Cake with about a paragraph of writing and special coloring instructions to be made by 6pm on a Saturday, and when I realized I had to pick it up earlier, I called in and checked the details of my order as well as changing the time. Brooke answered the phone and found my order immediately, made sure my special instructions were followed and updated the completion time very quickly. So the cake was a chocolate cake with BR's rockin' rocky road ice-cream, pink frosting and purple writing (her favorite colors and flavors). I picked up some "Happy Birthday" candles and a box of trick candles (the kind you can't blow out) and headed home for the birthday celebrations. This cake came out ABSOLUTELY PERFECT and over the course of two days, was completely demolished by several friends who helped us celebrate her birthday all weekend. So many compliments were paid saying that this was the best cake they ever had, and the birthday girl was sad to see the last serving eaten last night (we had many, many servings). The location of this shop may be easy to miss, depending on where you're driving from. If you see the RITE-Aid complex, you're in the right area. Baskin Robbins is actually behind the Petco store. Owner and employee are nice and greet you when you come in. I bought a "sheet cake 1/3" for $26.99, which is fine. Their ice cream cakes are delicious. HOWEVER, if you ask them to write a message on the cake, please know that you will be charged a "cake design charge" of $1.00 --- which I think is RIDICULOUS! I've never been charged for requesting writing on a b-day cake! I wish I had been told that up front, but I found out when I got home and looked at the receipt. **MEH** read more

On August 7 in the evening we went there to get ice cream. There was a new person working there. My wife ordered two scoops of ice cream in the waffle he did it in the cup my wife told him that is not right then he ask another worker she told him to put them in a waffle . Then I ask for two different scoops in a cup he gave me two scoops of the same flavor. I went back to the girl who has been working there for a while and told her. She replied I can give you a credit for the next visit I told her that is not what I ordered and said I do not want it she said the trash is behind you you can throw it there and smiled. Then she said I will give you a kid scoop I said that is not what I paid for. I finally took the kid scoop and told her that is a rip off. Since I paid by credit card I stopped the payment . Two mistakes never an apology and tried to give me less if I paid for. The owner lady who is also nice and has a great customer service was not there. We ordered an ice cream cake for our dad's birthday. It had been awhile since we had purchased one. It tasted nothing like we remembered. We let the cake sit out so it would be easier to cut but after 20 minutes we gave up and tried to slice through it. The cake was still hard as a rock. The ice cream did not look or seem fresh even though my mom ordered it on line. The most disappointing experience was the taste. It seemed blah and tasteless. I like Baskin Robbins just fine and I think they have good ice cream, but I wish I had a closer location. The one here on Springdale is often staffed with cranky people. The young staff is actually really pleasant, but the older adult staff (perhaps the franchisee?) is militant about offers, promotions and coupons--to the point of turn off. Heaven help you if you have an expired coupon, or even bust a coupon out at all. They practically roll their eyes right in front of you. They really should realize that there's so many frozen novelty places these days...from ColdStone to Yogurtland/PinkBerry (and the knockoffs of these)...that if you're not personable and appreciative of your customers' business, we will gladly take it elsewhere. read more

i placed an online birthday cake order with a printed photo on top for my little sister on friday at 6:30PM. the site said it would take 24 hrs to pick up that cake (bc they get the printed pictures from a separate store) so understandably it wouldn't be ready until 6:30PM on saturday. unfortunately, we had a birthday lunch scheduled at 2PM so i called to cancel the cake order because i didn't think it would be finished in time. after i cancelled, i got a call back from kate. my saving grace she said she could get to the printed photo shop and pick it up & finish my cake by 2PM! and guess what? we got the cake at 2PM! thank you so so much kate and everyone else at this baskin robbins because you made my little sister so happy and i felt so bad for making you finish a cake in just 3 hours you're all so amazing and this location is definitely the best!!! the cake looked great and tasted even more amazing! we definitely appreciate you guys so much. thank you for your kindness! read more

My experience on October 9, 2015 @ 8:30pm Business owners need to spend more time teaching their young and inexperienced employees the finer points of customer service and customer retention skills. I have purchased no less than 25 birthday cakes at this BR over the years for family and employee birthdays and countless cones and sundaes. All of them delicious, well mostly. Tonight I went out on a limb and ordered a single scoop of Banana Split on a cake cone. It sure looked a lot better in the case than it tasted. I politely asked the young man behind the counter if I could get something else because the Banana Split tasted odd. He said, "sorry . . . you're pretty much stuck with it. That's why we offer free tastes before you order." Sure I get that, my bad. He watched me drop the uneaten ice cream in the trash can as he rang us up . . . $11.00 for three single scoops. I asked him if it would have really put a dent in the ice cream inventory if he had just given me a scoop of another flavor. He quipped "if we gave everyone free ice cream we'd be out of business". I instantly thought, you little shit, you've just cost the owner of this store a loyal and long time customer over a single scoop of ice cream. I get it, kids don't think like adults. They don't appreciate how much it costs a business owner to get new customers in the door nor do they appreciate the value of loyal customers. Hopefully the owner of this BR reads this and schools her employees on how to better handle situations like mine. In the mean time, I think I will spend more of my BR dollars at the store on Westminster Ave. P.S. - I probably would have dropped a couple of dollars in the tip jar had you just given me a different flavor. read more

Received the worst service here this evening. We went 20 mins before closing to get 2 take home pints. When we asked for the pumpkin cheesecake one of the employees muttered under his breath "dammit". Completely unprofessional. All throughout us ordering josh said very few words to us. He would not make eye contact and made the entire transaction uncomfortable. We tried to make a few jokes and lighten the mood which was met by silence and only made what was an already awkward situation in unbearable. Being in management in a customer facing sales environment myself I understand how getting a customer within 30 mins of closing isn't what you want. I would never make a patron feel unwelcome. We have looked forward to this seasons pumpkin cheesecake ice cream for months. Needless to say I will it be coming back to this location. Well I CAN'T say that it was the best Banana Split I've ever had!! So the line was pretty long for a cold Thursday night which I thought was a good thing right? I ordered my Banana split and watch the employee make it. The first thing I noticed was that the chocolate sauce was low in the dispenser so the employee had to open it up and when it finally came out it was more like a paste than a warm unctuous chocolate sauce. His co worker ( a girl) also needed some so after he finished with mine she took it upon herself to add more chocolate to the dispenser and let it melt. Great for the other customer but sucked for me! So the second mistake was that he layered it over my ice cream which only made the pasty chocolate harder and then to top it off layered whipped cream. Needless to say that by the time my husband got his own order made my Banana split whipped cream was melted and the chocolate totally hard and chewy... I didn't say anything since the line was pretty long but I left not too happy. Since this was our first time at this location probably won't be back there are so many in town! read more

I been going to this Baskin Robins thats just down the street from my house for 4/5 years now. My personal favorite flavor is Pink Bubblegum in shake form or in a double scoop. Although 31 flavors is pricey compared to Rite Aid's Thrifty's, it has a vas selection with 40+ flavors. Overall Baskin robins is a great ice cream shop with unique flavors. read more
