Highway robbery! The single scoop sundae I got was the same size as a kids scoop, maybe smaller. From reading the other reviews the best way to describe the ice cream scoop size is golf ball size. I don't go to Baskin Robbins, not since I was 7 and was allowed to have the clown cone. Now I'm not so I don't go here, yet my friends really wanted some ice cream. So we came here. The guys behind the counter were very friendly, curteous and professional. They also are generous with the samples, so that's nice. The music they play is pretty legit in here as well. I had a bite of my friend's love potion cake bar, which was fantastic. It was nice to have one more baskin robbins experience before I eventually die of diabetes from consumption of sugar. read more

This Baskin Robbins sells pretty good ice cream. Unfortunately, it suffers from petty and ridiculous policies which are unfriendly to the customer. On a recent visit, I ordered two 3-scoop cones, to go. The employee offered to put the ice cream in two cups and put the cones in the bag. So far so good, but when he rang up my order, I noticed an extra $.50 charge, which he snuck in without saying anything. I asked about it and he said it was for the cups he had offered to give me. I mentioned that I did not want to pay for cups since I was already paying for the ice cream, especially cups which he had volunteered to give me, but he told me that the owner insisted on it, and that if he did not charge me for the cups, I would have to give them back. Half incredulous and half bemused, and not knowing what I would do with six scoops of ice cream with nothing to put them in, I told him they could keep the cones, the cups, and the ice cream. A little advice for the owner if you're reading this: if a customer is paying several dollars for ice cream, just give them the cup, and if you're going to insist on charging for the cup, you should post the charge on your menu and have your employees notify customers of the charge when they offer them a cup. Sneaking it in that way while pretending to do the customer a favor is deceitful and petty. Furthermore, expecting a customer to carry around three scoops of ice cream on a tiny little cone without a cup to put it in is just silly. If you don't want to offer a free cup for one-scoop cones, offering a free cup with two-scoop and three-scoop cones would seem like a viable alternative that probably won't put you out of business. On the other hand, driving away customers just might. For anyone thinking about coming here, if you have read this far, my advice to you is this: bring your own cup! read more

I enjoy visiting Baskin Robbins when I have an appetite for ice cream. Its soooo good ! I like trying the new flavors they have. I usually get 1 scoop with a sugar cone. This is a pretty reliable Baskin Robbins! Though it is a hit or miss with the the service (I find the service to be better at night than during the afternoon), you cannot deny that this is one of their cleanest locations and the flavors are always on point with what you want. Though I love the traditional cherries jubilee, I find myself coming back for their delectable vanilla soft serve! If you have not had it yet, get in you car and get it now... I promise it will not disappoint! read more

Update- the manager of the store contacted my father and replaced the offending pint. She was apologetic and gracious. We bought a pint of ice cream here tonight - got it home & it had clearly melted and been refrozen. My father brought it back expecting to exchange for fresh ice cream and was told by "team leader" Greg that it could not be exchanged as it had been opened. This is their policy. We were celebrating with several family members. Not only will we never visit the Toluca Lake location - we will never visit a Baskin Robbins again - which is a little sad as I grew up with the stuff, and it was the first ice cream my two year old ever tasted. read more

I can't really say anything bad about ice cream.....especially Baskin Robbins ice. The cool thing about this place is its a Togos and a Baskin Robbins so after you eat lunch you can have dessert! I am so impressed with the customer service at this Baskin-Robbins. My daughter turns 4 in two days and in a panic last night I called this location, asking if it were still possible to order an ice cream cake, because I realized that me making the ice cream cake in a heart shape, along with all the other party planning would just be too much. The manager was very attentive, even when I described the mermaid theme and the cake needing to be in a heart shape, as my daughter requested. The manager didn't have the mermaid decoration at his location but was able to get it from another store and send a picture within 10 minutes. I even got a couple picture updates throughout the following day. I can't remember the last time I received such incredible customer service. It was like a small town ice cream shop - called Baskin- Robbins. When we picked up the cake today, it was as if all 6 employees knew us and my daughter proudly talked to them about how much she loved her cake. A couple employees even mentioned that pink and blue were her favorite colors, which she couldn't believe they knew! It's only ice cream. Not life changing surgery. Some co-workers and I went in for a couple of scoops. The ice cream was good, and didn't taste any different from other locations I have been to. One of the workers seemed unenthusiastic to be there, and could have made my sundae better...but who really enjoys working retail. I would go back for a simple scoop. I go in here pretty often and I enjoy the service usually but today I came in just to see if they could break my 20$ bill and I told them if they can't it's fine. But the manager came in and she started saying that they're not a bank and they need the money in the register. She was raising her voice for no reason. i was helped by who i assume is the owner (an older man) and immediately felt uncomfortable. i said "can i have half" and he just cut me off saying they dont do halves, without even knowing what i was going to say. so i said i wanted a milkshake and he said "oh okay we can do that". alright sir. i said i wanted a medium and he interupts me again and speaks over me to say he cant do half and half for a medium because its three scoops. so i asked if he could just do 1 1/2 scoops of each and he said that would mess up the recipe. so he said i had to choose which flavor would have another scoop (never been told this before). when i finally got the drink it was very milky and just gross. worst part is, i ordered a jamoca/mint chip milkshake and he made me a jamoca ALMOND fudge/mint chip milkshake. i didnt realize this until i took a few sips!
