Not a good way to pick an establishment for such an important task as phone or computer repair! The nice young man seemed like an honest kid. Quite a devious dude as it turned out. I paid a $50.00 deposit for the initial determination, which would be applied any future expenses incurred toward resolution. He informed me after I returned a couple of hours later that my phone was irrepairable. I inquired about a replacement and could the data be transferred from my dead phone. He said he could try, and informed me that they had a special service plan that would save me money if I had any future issues with my new phone, which was supposed to be an open box special. The service plan, he said, would be $100.00 but because they were having a special promotion the cost would be refunded with the purchase of my new phone. He neglected to inform me that the $100.00 was actually a monthly charge for membership in their club. I did not find out about that little detail until my bank informed me of the $100.00 charge at the beginning of the next month. I immediately called Recconected's Scottsdale office and explained that I did not want a subscription to their service club. The person I spoke with said they would refund the charge and cancel the subscription. This was a bold faced lie as neither of these items occurred. Additionally they continued to charge my account for two more months before I learned from my bank that they had declined to pay a fourth charge. Many hoops later I was able to prevent further theft from my account. Not an honest business. Not trustworthy since the individual did not honor his word that the initial charge would be removed and the subscription terminated. Do not do business with this shady outfit! Crooks and worse!

It is not inexpensive, however, you cannot put a monetary value on being without a phone. He was much more helpful in offering a solution that Verizon or Geek Squad offered. He later helped me with data transfer and stuck to his time estimate and communicated as promised. After the positive experience, I went back to get a screen and camera protector. I am told it's a $10 replacement fee + installation for each for the time that I own the phone--better than what I previously got through Pure Gear from Verizon. My experience was very positive and I would recommend ReConnected.

They failed to properly install the water-resistant seal around the screen. A couple of drops of water from the sink later and the screen fried again. They charged me another $180 to "fix" it. A month earlier I brought in a laptop. They charged me $50 just to remove about 10 tiny screws on the back, then told me they couldn't do anything because the motherboard was secured by melting plastic to hold it in place during assembly, making it impossible to work on. So $50 for nothing. They also tried to charge me for data recovery. The SSD that held the data was easily removable through a door that takes one screw to remove. After the laptop disappointment I still hoped they'd take care of the second screen properly. The second screen they installed is faulty: it scrolls on its own without me touching it, and the problem has gotten worse since I got it back. Face ID also stopped working after the second repair (it had worked after the first one). They overcharge for parts, invent expensive services for things you can do yourself, and deliver shoddy work. I've paid them roughly $400 total for substandard repairs and zero accountability. Do not take your devices here. I'm telling everyone I know to stay away. I hope they find another line of work.

I left my iMac with Tony at Argosy, who was respectful and explained how to repair my pc. The next day, I received a message that my computer was ready for me and mentioned that when I came in, I would need my Apple ID to ensure everything was working for me. I showed up the next day, and a guy was there, but not Tony. As Tony mentioned, I asked him about checking my computer and setting it up. The guy told me I could take it home and do it there. I tried to explain my situation, and again, the guy said I could take it home and do it there as he said it would take me hours of sitting here. I told him I was prepared to sit around to fix this pc as I have had it under repair for over two weeks. I asked if he would please let me set it up there, then he said (in a rude tone) go to the computer and turn it on; you should know how to do that (rude). After that, I asked which WiFi was theirs so I could log on. He babbled (rude) about how we were not supposed to give out our WiFi password. After a few continued rude words (attitude), he did come over and kinda shouted out the password. I felt uncomfortable with how he kept speaking to me rudely and repeating himself, making me uneasy. After attempting to explain and his consistent disruptions, I got fed up with the way he raised his voice at me; I decided to take my computer and get out. At this time, I took out my phone and recorded the rest of our conversation. OMG! I had never been so badly treated by anyone, anywhere, like him! I called the next day to speak with Tony (I think he is the owner), and I explained the rudeness of this employee. Tony did not say a word, no apologies or any explanation. I am VERY DISAPPOINTED by how I was treated. I guess it's no biggie because I came in as an Apple warranty service, so I am no loss to them. Argosy is the only Apple service provider in our area. There's an opportunity for someone here to start their PC repair as an Authorized Apple service provider.  I DO NOT RECOMMEND ARGOSY WEST COMPUTERS (poor customer service!) and GEEK SQUAD (for Apple devices).

I had a simple register payment. A simple pay on taxes because upgrade payment went through yesterday but computer broke for 2nd payment of taxes. Save your time and go to Phoenix which was seamless on my upgrade. Now going through another cancellation of original payment for same issue a year ago that took forever for payment reversal for a whole new $1600 phone I didn't purchase. It shouldn't take hours to do a simple upgrade. Nearest At&T is Phoenix so don't deal with an AT&T authorized dealer. A big difference apparently. Stay away and go to Phoenix if it's not an emergency!!! Terrible way to spend 2 days and get payments reversed or a new phone. The worst not an isolated incident
