We ordered a bunch of stuff including Pho which we asked for an empty bowl to share when we placed our order. When food came I asked for a ladle to serve & she refused then I asked for a small cup to serve & she refused. This was the most terrible experience ever. We held it down and stayed the whole duration hoping the food was gonna be good. It took 30 Minutes just to get drinks. The place is understaffed and has no organization what so ever. I feel bad for the guy that was attempting to run the front with the girl. He was cordial and apologetic to everyone that complained or walked out. We watched quite a few people rather complain or straight up leave. We ordered a bunch of food but only to be disappointed and was charged 83 bucks for sub par food for the pricing. Shaken beef was like shaken shit. Literally. My 6 year old refused to eat another bite of it. The sauce had a very weird fishy taste to it and the meat was tough as nails. Chicken Tom yum soup.......not much to say other then it was like sipping premade Tom yum from a package. No good. Bulgogi bao was like beef jerkey wrapped in a bao. Peking duck bao had bones in it. Negative on that one too. We ordered chicken fried rice and chicken wings, both items never came out but was questioned when we said we wanted to take those items off the bill, they didn't even know if they served us that or not?! Fried dumplings was actually pretty good minus the sauce had a bit of a tang to it. Fried salted tofu was ok also. Bit greasy but it was good. Overall I wouldn't go back ever. Delicious! My fiancé and I tried the pho, happy farm fried rice, and grilled pork banh mi. Everything was perfect! The fried rice had huge shrimp so the $2 charge was definitely worth it. I especially LOVED the pork banh mi. I could tell all the veggies were fresh, the pork was perfectly seasoned and juicy and they did not skimp on the portion, and the bread was just OUTSTANDING. I took my family in to BayFusion on Sunday afternoon. We were the only customers in the restaurant. The hostess told me that there were too many people in my party (5) to be seated. Not making this up. "We can only seat 4 people, you have too many". There were no Lee's than 10 tables and 4 booths, all empty. . The dining area in Bay Fusion will seat 50+, but not if more than 4 arrive together. I can't figure the logic. if 10 groups of 4 walk in, they can be served, but if 5 people walk in together, they have to dine elsewhere... odd business model. The place is decorated really neatly, cleanly, and colorfully. The whole interior is painted very nicely. The menu looks very nicely done in terms of appearance and variety. The place smelled strange though, like old curry spice or something. Very mediocre food. We got the chicken pad thai. The rice noodles were really undercooked and hard in the middle. The chicken was like rubber. The sauce was missing flavors. I know pad thai is sweet but this was overly sweet, the sauce was lacking a lot. Kinda tasted like the stuff you buy in a bottle at the grocery store. We also got the tom yum. The broth tasted pre-packaged and was too sweet too. Also, it had brocolli in it, which gave it a really nasty brocolli stench flavor. It tasted like brocolli-flavored tom yum. I guess it's good if u love over powering brocolli flavor in soup. Tom yum doesnt typically have brocolli in it. Last thing we got was the beef pho. The broth was okay, better flavor than the previous two items, but still just okay. The beef was rubbery and not soft, but they give a good amount of beef in it. They put these round spaghetti shaped rice noodles in the pho, which was strange and made it miss the right texture/flavor for pho. Overall, not terrible, Ive had worse asian food. What is the point in setting up a time for business when the establishment doesn't abide by that set time. Then my soup comes out literally 2 seconds after my spring rolls arrive even though I ordered them way before. I manage to finish one spring roll sans nasty warm peanut sauce, and move on to the soup. The broth? Bland. The meat? Tough and grey. Yet, it's supposed to be rare steak? Lol. I'm done. I walk up to the counter to pay and leave but first want to talk to a manager about my experience. The girl says they have no manager or refund policy. You order it, you buy it. Lol ok. I got the Vietnamese spicy beef soup that's on the entrance window and it was very good. Not too spicy, but full of flavor, cooked just right. Beef is very good. My wife got the noodle salad, she let me taste it, and man it was so good. We shared shrimp spring rolls, I think they called the country rolls, they were delicious too. The spring rolls come witha peanut sauce that pretty much taste like creamy warm peanut butter, which I was not crazy about, but they have Hoison sauce so I used that instead.
