Holy Mo's Kitchen was a great experience yesterday. Mo is absolutely wonderful. He not only has that classic pidgin talk and Hawaiian/Islander tone and cadence to his voice but he just ooooooozes ALOHA. I FREAKING LOVE IT!!! My family and I came here after bowling on a Sunday afternoon. I only wanted, a musubi with egg. I can't quite remember what rest of my family ate, but I know for sure we were greeted so warmly by the most friendly guy you could ever imagine. We talked all kinds of food and restaurants and about family obligations and just family. It was so refreshing. It was a lot of fun. Everything is made to order. Nothing is sitting around in a warmer. That's another thing that makes this place so appealing I appreciate freshly cooked and freshly prepared food. The restaurant is very small and very casual. People do a lot of takeout here. There seemed to be a lot of repeat customers, especially those who come from across the street to grab lunch here during the week. You should definitely stop by if ever you are in the area. I need a quick bite. Try their mochi cake. That was really good. Braddah Mo, I hope you can find that shaved ice machine we were talking about before summer hits and it gets really hot. If you do, let me know. I would be over here almost every weekend to get shave ice and grab a few musubi for the family.

Sooo we went on food search, and once again... thanks to yelp for showing me Holy Mo's because HOLY MOLY... Super bomb service, totally get why people said, you come there and you feel like family! I almost dont want to say come try this spot ASAP because the seating is very limited. I think I counted counter space for 4 only. And outside on the front patio a table 4 four. Definitely wish for more indoor seating. The food menu is phenomenal and I can't wait to try the loco moco, and their spam musubi!! I got the garlic shrimp plate, that came with rice and mac salad and some yummy garlic stir fried veggies. Not quite the island style Giovanni garlic shrimps but they were still delicious !!! And that little side mac salad was a star!! He got the Hawaiian breakfast plate and said the bacon was bomb. And I personally love Portuguese sausage!!! We had many spice/sauce condiment options which included soy sauce Sriracha and chili water. This spot is intimate, and better than those "Hawaiian chain locations" looking forward to trying their Katsu chicken too! And do yourself a favor get a sample of their butter machine cake, it is to die for. I could not leave without taking some home!!! This husband and wife team is the sweetest!!! We will definitely be supporting this onolicious spot!

Wow! What a hidden gem of a restaurant. I am sooooo glad my family and I had a chance to visit this restaurant after reading so many positive Yelp reviews. Upon entering the small but cozy restaurant, we were immediately welcomed by the owner, Mo, and his business partner (I am so sorry, but I don't get her name ). They were both extremely friendly and welcoming, and it truly felt as though they were happy to have us visiting the restaurant. Top-notch service from start to finish, THANK YOU! We ordered the BBQ mix, Chicken Katsu, Fish & chips, butter mochi, and pumpkin crunch. I can honestly say that we were FLOORED!! The food was DELICIOUS!! Each item was cooked to perfection! Perfectly seasoned, portions were huge, and did I mention that everything was delicious?? My fish and chips w/no salt or sauce were huge, sooooo tasty, fresh, and left me FULL!! The BBQ was second to none as it was DELICIOUS!! The chicken Katsu was crunchy and full of flavor. I am a huge fan of anything dessert. The pumpkin crunch with whipped cream was truly one of the best and most creative desserts I have ever tried. This dessert would win first place if it were displayed and shared at the Pomona Fair in the food category. Wow!! It is 640 am now, and I am craving it all over again. This family-owned restaurant opened in September 2025. I will be returning this week to try something else on the menu. I hope that many more people have the opportunity to stop by for a GREAT meal and to support this up-and-coming local restaurant.

Was the only one to arrive to the store, albeit there was a 3 person phone order before us. Told it would be 20 minutes. Didn't get my food until 45 minutes. Was told they ran out of cooked rice even though it's mid dinner hour and we are the only people. Then the katsu came out dry, brown and burnt. Usually the mark of old, dirty oil. God awful and won't be back even though I had high hopes.

Came here for the authenticity. I'm not the biggest hawaiian bbq lover but this is one of the few joints thats got a real hawaiian dude operating it. His name is Mo and we enjoyed meeting him and dining in. The space inside is small but there are patio seating if it's not too hot. You can also walk the food across to the Edwards theatre courtyard. The prices and portions are decent. I had the spam musubi which was delicious. Butter mochi was stocked out so can't speak on that. The mac salad wasn't anything special but gotta eat those greens. The meat was fresh and good cuts. The chicken is definitely love or hate but I really liked the short ribs and beef. Yum. Overall great experience. And the owners quite nice. He's friendly but doesn't say much and thats okay.

A friendly and local establishment that deserves praise! If you're looking for homemade, fresh, and delicious Hawaiian food then Holy Mo's is it! The restaurant itself is small, but can seat a few people for dining. They have a small menu of delicious Hawaiian food, and everything is made fresh to order. I order the hamburger steak that comes with a Mac salad, and it was absolutely delicious! Definitely give them a try if you're in the area.

Went in on a random day and the chef asked if I was a risk taker. Ofcourse I said yes and got a custom special creation from the Holy Mo's team and man... it was it the right decision. Fire Loco Moco Fries. Will be coming back for these and the great team

The owner, Mo, is so kind and friendly. Everytime we go he makes us feel like family. The food is the best hawaiian food I ever had in California. Trust me, Im from Hawaii. The deep fried butter mochi goes crazy.

Located across from the theater. There's plenty of parking. Small restaurant where I think the food is more for take seats. However there is seating outside and minimal seating inside (counter with stools). I ordered the butter mochi and the BBQ mix plate. The mochi was delicious. Buttery, as expected. As for the bbq mix plate, very disappointed. My meat was not cooked all the way. The parts that I did eat were salty. The macaroons salad was good though. I really want to like this place but raw meat is not appetizing.

Damn try this place, for me at least the chicken katsu was bomb bizzzzzie! Juicy, tender, and huge! Spam was delicious, and most of all the lady was so nice and friendly. Will come back to try the desserts . Wish the best for success! The best Katsu I tried the thickest, juiciest and delicious not too breaded or too crunchy like other place. Forgot to mention the butter mochi and the macaroni was also delicious. Usually I hate macaroni, but this place gets it right without too much mayo. Try this place and let us know how you like it!

Came 20 minutes before they closed and Mo welcomed me in! I ordered the chicken katsu plate, 2 spam musubis, and the butter mochi. I have to say this was the best chicken katsu I've ever had! I'm always weary of getting katsu because it's usually all breading, dry with no flavor. The chicken katsu was perfection!!! Crispy and the chicken was SO juicy. The sauce paired with it so well, and they don't skimp on the meat at all. The macaroni salad was delicious too. The spam musubis were hot and not too salty! The ratio of spam to rice was perfect. I didn't know what butter mochi was until then, Mo had me try a piece and I was hooked! Perfectly soft and chewy and a great treat to end the meal. I skipped on a drink because I had a coffee already, but they had so many options! The inside was spotless. I'm so excited to come back and try the rest when I'm back in the area.

Mixed bbq plate it has bbq beef riblets, crispy pork belly, bbq beef, 2 scoops rice, macaroni salad. Got a side order of spam masubi.

The texture of the osmanthus sweet rice is a little gooey and overall flavor is slightly sweet with hints of floral. The black sesame mochi pop comes with taro paste, mochi pop rice balls, milk mochi and a side of cheese foam. For additional cost, i added red beans which was the cherry on top. The mochi components were soft and chewy. The dessert can get milky and creamy since most of the ingredients are milk based. The black sesame flavors stood out and highly recommend if you like black sesame. We ordered and paid on the kiosk using apple pay. The charge was seen as pending on our credit card; however, there was some discrepancy seen on their register, which marked the order as unpaid. The worker had to call the manager for confirmation and next steps. It was unclear why this happened, but the worker was kind enough to fulfill the order. The presentation of their fresh milk mochi (鲜奶麻薯) bowls and dip-and-stretch mochi desserts is undeniable--it makes for great photos, and the shop itself is super bright and clean. The stretchy texture of the milk mochi base was fun and delightfully soft, and components like the taro paste and purple rice had a nice, subtle sweetness. However, for the price point, the execution fell a little short. Some of the toppings felt under-prepared; the taro balls lacked that fresh, springy chewy elasticity you want in a shaved ice/mochi bowl, and the coconut jelly base tasted slightly watered down instead of rich. Logistics wise, the service was quite slow even though the store wasn't very busy, and parking in this Labin Court plaza can be a complete nightmare during peak evening hours. It's a solid place to stop by once for the aesthetic and novelty, but given the steep competition for Asian desserts in Rowland, it doesn't quite hit top-tier status for me.
