Conveniently located in our hotel, this cute little tiki decorated restaurant feels the need for sure. They have a good variety of food in the menu for all taste buds. My daughter got the teriyaki chicken and white rice. The portion was a good size however she said it was more in the fatty side. And we didn't get any soy sauce or teriyaki sauce to spuce it up a bit. The mahi mahi tacos were good - definitely add the side mango salsa. Only bummer was my friend got them battered however the order came as grilled so we weren't able to try both options.

Nice little place. Helps that it was walking distance from our room. Dark lit bar area with fun tiki drinks. We ordered drinks while waiting for our to go food. Not the cheapest, but it is Hawaii! Fun décor. Seemed clean.

We had a delicious dinner. It was the night of the brush fire and many places were closed. This was open and food was tasty.

When we walked in, we knew we've been here before, I had to look up my last review, ugh it was a 2 star - but that was during Covid. Well I remember they had great mai tai's so we went in. Nice bartender that was in early to open the bar. Mai tai's still good!! Bar food, ok, wings kalua pig quesadillas. Local variations of menu from loco moco, chicken katsu, lau lau, fresh fish and fish tacos and more. Great dark bar and chill ambience!

This was our last stop of the day before we headed to check into our hotel. This restaurant is was located about five minute drive from our hotel, which was very nice. The restaurant itself was a little difficult to find since it's in a hotel and our navigation was making us go into a weird area. We parked in the public parking lot and walked up to the hotel. When you walk in, the ambience is pretty dark because it's a tiki bar and we sat at the bar. There were a couple other people at the bar, but the place looked pretty dead to me. We came here for happy hour, and it was pretty decent. We ordered the calamari which was a little bit chewy and it's strips so you don't get the ones with the tentacles. We also ordered the Poki nachos which had great flavor, but pretty skimpy on the fish itself. The food comes out pretty quickly, so I'm not sure if it's completely fresh or not. I ordered myself a mai tai, each place has their own version and kitchen 5315 has a pretty decent one. The bartender was super chill very nice and took care of us. Overall, I spent about $50 on happy hour which isn't bad but just expected better appetizers.

Fun little tiki bar in an area starved for tiki life. Fun, good drinks, terrific service and a neat vibe.

Fun and entertaining Tiki Bar. The quesadilla was very good. Knocked down two stars because the kalua pork was out and you have to use porta potties for the bathrooms.

Walking up from the beach to our cars. We found a tiki bar sign that offered happy hour from 3^5. We followed our way through the beautifully landscaped hotel. There to a little bar, where winndorri our fabulous bar tender. Guided us through the happy hour menu and drinks. The couple next to us had been coming here for years. And loved this far inside this was the best place ever. So we stuck around. We went through many of the appetizers and drinks. That were fabulous, I would highly recommend this little.Hidden spot?Don't want to miss this hidden gem tell winndori hi for me !

What day ate you closing for good?

New owners have taken over and they're remaining open

Are you or are you not currently open for breakfast? Multiple sites post conflicting reports. Thank you.

Have not been open for breakfast in a few years. Current hours start at 2pm

What should I expect going here? Is the food good or bad?

The food and drinks are good. The atmosphere is casual. The restaurant is a bit dated but the service is great. I have a review posted on Yelp from my visit. Enjoy.

    Do they have outdoor dining?

They have a small picnic table outside the door of their establishment when we were there They also had takeout

What is on your kids menu?

They did have a kids menu. I don't recall all of the items but they had a cheeseburger, chicken tenders, grilled cheese, mac and cheese. Hope that helps.

We got a little worried about the quality of service after seeing some of Yelp reviews, and we did experience some attitude from someone on the phone when we called to ask about their hours. For that, I had to deduct a star. The food and our waitress were both outstanding. Our party of 11 all ordered pizzas to share, and we were set up at multiple tables around the restaurant. My favorite pizza was the Rhino, which is a garlic and oil base with Italian sausage, spinach, sundried tomatoes and roasted onions. The ambiance is as expected for a sports pub, with fairly loud noise levels but that's nothing new to us. Overall, we all really enjoyed our pizzas and we will definitely be back next time we take a family trip to Lahaina!

Called to check and see if it was open due to the storm and the dude on the other end of the line rudely said "Well I answered the phone didn't I?" and hung up. Should have been my first hint. Arrived and it was wall to wall people and the pizza smelled incredible. Lady at the front said "open seating" so I picked the single open table near the back (bar was full) and after 15-20 minutes was never served nor acknowledged (Even a "hey we're slammed can you please give me a few minutes." I 1000% can appreciate). As usual, I refuse to give my business any place that doesn't care whether I'm there - so I left. Such a shame.

We ordered a 50/50 pizza of Chicken Thai-phoon which has a sweet chili sauce, tasty chicken, green papers, pineapple, basil, & cilantro. The kalua pork has bbq sauce, succulent pork, pineapple, & green onions. Both pizzas are unique, mouthwatering deliciousness that combine sweet, a bit o' heat, and lots of savory flavors along with textures. The unique sauces really amp these pizzas up with flavor. However, when we order next time, we'll likely ask for light sauce as even though it's incredibly tasty, it was on a little heavy for our preference. The tiki fries were also delicious! On one of our trips we polished off two baskets full! Savory with umami flavor and crunchiness, it's easy to have two baskets disappear quickly! Service is always friendly! You're sure to be greeted with a smile and good humor. In the afternoons and evenings there's live music sometimes and that just adds to the overall wonderful experience of hanging out here.

The outdoor seating is refreshingly simple, but once you step inside, it's pure vibe. There's a thoughtful design touch to everything--from the mid-century glassware to the way each drink seems to have its own personality. They're not just slinging cocktails here; they're crafting an experience. I ordered the VOG CUTTER--Pisco, watermelon, lemon, absinthe, cubeb bitters--and it came topped with a pickled watermelon garnish. I'm usually not an absinthe fan, but this drink was perfectly balanced, bright and herbal with just enough edge. It landed squarely in the "perfect cocktail" category for me. My partner had the Velvet Elvis and was equally impressed. We both kept commenting on how varied and intentional the drinkware was--punch cups, tea glasses, you name it. It makes everything feel more special. The bartender was sharp, friendly, and clearly knew the menu inside and out--eager to help guide us through the options and talk about the thought behind each drink. At one point, a child wandered in by mistake (Esters is 21+ due to its bar zoning), and the bartender gently asked them to leave--but not before handing over a vanilla wafer as a parting gift. One of my favorite touches? The name. There's actually a thoughtful explanation printed right on the menu: "Esters are natural compounds that are created through chemical reactions during fermentation. Esters give a diverse range of aromas and flavors to rum." It's a subtle homage to the science of spirits--and it fits perfectly with the experience Esters delivers. If you're looking for a cocktail bar that hits on every level--drinks, vibe, service--Esters Fair Prospect is the move.

The piña colada is honestly one of the best we've had. For our family of five, plus two beers and one piña colada, lunch came to about $175 including tip. That's pretty expensive, so we only come on rare occasions. At that price point, we'd expect warmer, friendlier service. We initially gave them the benefit of the doubt and assumed we had visited on off days, but after several visits--including this past Friday with many of the same waitresses--we've found the service to be consistently cold and unwelcoming.
