This place was cute and the drinks were amazing. We stopped in just to kill some time before dinner. Plenty of seating available inside and out. We sat at the bar, bartender was friendly and sweet. We all ordered different drinks but each one was made so well. This will definitely be a location I will return to again when I visit Houston.

Sippin sideways drink - vodka and elderflower and absinthe

We came here for a happy hour, and the food and drinks were DELICIOUS. The cocktails are of course in line with alcohol pricing at any other bar you would go to ($12-$15), and I got a drink called sippin sideways, which was vodka with elderflower and absinthe, which was super pretty and delicious at the same time. We also got chips with guacamole and cheese and pretzels with butter, Dijon mustard, and melted cheese to dip into. The pretzel was 20/10, and the guacamole and chips were also 10/10. I love the service and ambiance at this place too. The Biergarten is half outdoors and half indoors with like an open space and area connecting the two. There's not really like doors separating the two spaces, so it feels really airy. It's also a beautiful space in general, so will definitely come back here again.

Another successful venture from the Height Bier Garten group! Went for the first time to meet a friend for a beer and some food while watching Monday Night Football. This is clearly not a sports bar since I had to ask them to put on the game, but they do have a lot of TVs. Maybe not in all the best locations for seamless viewing, since my buddy and I had to sit awkwardly on the same side of the bench. the beer selection and the food were great. Will I return? Definitely for a drink and some grub. I might go elsewhere if I am going to a bar to watch a game.

Loved this place ! Great patio, great food, great drinks ( highly recommend their porn star martini) ! They recently started doing valet parking though in their already tiny parking lot which is a bummer, pay 5 dollars to walk not even 100 feet into the bar.. seems like an unnecessary money grab because drinks and food are already a little pricey with not a great happy hour ! But besides that it's a cool place to go and it's dog friendly!

Super cute, trendy spot with a great vibe. The drinks were good, definitely a little pricey, but still worth it. The indoor and outdoor spaces are really nice, with comfortable sofas and even swings that add to the atmosphere. The parking situation kind of sucks, but at least they offer valet, which makes it a lot easier. Overall, it's a fun place to hang out, have a few drinks, and enjoy the vibe.

The food was to die for!! We started out our day looking for a patio lunch on a beautiful Sunday. We were very pleased with our choice. The open patio had plenty of shade and fans. Now the food! The pork belly deviled eggs were to die for! I should have ordered doubled! The pork belly was so good, I had to order the pork belly with pineapple habanero glaze.

I've been here a few times now and I've always enjoyed my visit. The place has a chill, casual atmosphere that's perfect if you're just looking for a place to hang out with friends. There's a cocktail bar side and a beer bar side for you to place your food and drink orders. There's no table service so unfortunately, you'll have to place your food order at one of the bars. Food orders never take too long to prepare and honestly, for being a bar, I think their food offerings are pretty solid in comparison to your typical bar. There's a small parking lot with plenty of parking during the week. I haven't had any issue finding a spot in the parking lot during the week. On the weekends, however, they do block off some of the spots for valet parking. There are street parking available, but make sure to pay attention to any restrictions. All in all, Bayou Heights is a great place to just casually hang out with friends, whether in a small or large group.

Beer garden located in the heart of the city! As one would expect, limited free parking/ valet parking only. Came here for a comedy show by Don't Tell Comedy (which was fantastic, I fully recommend) Expensive food and cocktails that definitely didn't match the cost in my opinion. I regretted my meal and drink choice when I tried their brisket grill cheese and the cocktail that has lychee and pandan. Overcooked/burnt sweet potato tater tots. Presentation was great however. The vibe of the beer garden is excellent. Plenty of seats indoor and outdoor with fans. Table fly fans to cover the food and prevent pesky flies. A excellent place to catch up.

This place has the very best vibe! It is so quintessentially Biergarten. All of the spaces are so well appointed and fun. The beer selection is extensive and the snacks we had were very delicious . I can't wait to come back and bring friends.

LOVE THIS PLACE! They have a great happy hour Monday- Friday 50% off all house cocktails on the menu 4pm-6pm This spot is three parts: A cocktail side which opens at 4pm A coffee place that closes at 10pm A beer side that opens at 3pm & closes at 10pm Service is great the bartenders are very helpful with explaining each drink as they are all unique and have ingredients one may not be familiar with. I will definitely be back again & again! Definitely recommend in the heights area they have a great outdoor area with swings and tables, heaters outdoor are available. The beer side also has an upstairs area with seating. Came here for a Birthday Celebration (Jason D). This place is big and has plenty of options. To start the beer bar is located to the right side with the big tower and to the left is the cocktail bar. Both are fairly large spaces with a big open space with outdoor tables, fire pits and porch swings in the middle. I started with a beer and they had at least 30 on tap. Solid selection. I also ordered some food. Pork belly burnt ends: 10/10 These were cooked perfect and had a delicious pineapple habanero bbq sauce glazed over the top. Pork belly tacos: 9/10 These were great as well. 3 tacos with great pork belly, queso fresco, avocado and a very good and slightly spicy green sauce Queso: 8/10 Standard queso with pico de gallo. A lot of chips. I like that it came with more than enough chips. Normally refills needed. Then I headed over to the cocktail bar. This place was packed. Bartenders were mixing 2-4 drinks at the same time. I have no idea how they weren't messing up drinks lol. There's no way I could mix 4 drinks at once with no mistakes lol. The best drink I had was the Gamma Ray. It had Mezcal, watermelon juice and lime. It was very good. There's also a coffee shop there too that's open til 10. It smelled incredible in there. My wife had a coffee but I didn't. See her review for details (shakoy B). They offered valet for $10 but it was full and we ended having to park across the street for $5. Thankfully, they still monitored the lot from tows and break-ins. I would/will definitely go back. I'd like to check it out in the spring when the weather is just right. Maybe check out their brunch since the food was so good too.

Cute place for early coffee with parking lot and ample seating indoor and outdoor. Caffeine is from Local Ten Fold Coffee. One barista and it was getting busy, so a bit of a wait for our cappuccinos. Pet friendly and we saw a poodle today. Recommended!

It looked dark, clubbish, and fun (exactly what I was looking for) and I couldn't wait to come here. After a 25 minute Uber ride we were downtown and walking to our destination. At first we could not find it but thankfully a nice gentlemen showed us where it was. Upon walking in, darkness with these bright lights paved our way. We sat down at the bar, but realized dancing did not start until 10pm. The bartender came over and said to us "we have a speakasy behind door #3" we were like WHAT! Let's go. So, we walked down the dark hallway and pushed open door #3 (hence the name) to find this super cool speakeasy bar. Dim lights, really modern decor, comfy suede chairs and best of all, some really great cocktails. If you are ever in Downtown Houston, I highly recommend you coming here. I promise you will have the best time. We did not stay for dancing.

Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for something different for a night out. Not sure how it took me this long to stumble in here. Parking is what it is downtown so, there's that.
