    Chicken Picatta

i ordered chicken picatta and it did taste okay but there is something about plain white chicken breast that didn't look done that turns me off. I could not eat it all. Server was amazing tho, wish more were like her.

Friend and I came here for lunch and had a great experience! We shared the oyster BLT, poke salad and boudin balls! Everything was delicious! Our waiter Jeremy was a delight, and very helpful with recommendations. The dining area is nice and clean. Overall, we had a great lunch!

Service was slow. It took a while to get an order in and food delivered. My party waited an hour for their meal. The food was good. I had the French dip sandwich and greatly enjoyed it.

    Fried Shrimp

Underwhelming food experience. It may have been prepackaged/battered. Even more disappointed because I'm in the south-Mississippi. Take heed to the reviews. It doesn't deserve 3 stars.

    Sweet potato tater tots

Oh my heavens! The food was delicious. Was not as fast as I thought, but it didn't matter. We had the crab cakes with fried green tomatoes appetizer which was more than enough for a solo entree. The fried shrimp came with two nice portioned sides. The sweet potato tater tots were AMAZING!!! I want a recipe and I will be craving these long after we head back to Florida. Terrific food! Definitely recommend.

Open faced Roast beef with veggies and mashed potatoes

Such a great non buffet option in the lobby of the IP. Great value, delicious food and cocktails. Service was also top notch. If you're at IP or just looking for something different in Biloxi, definitely stop here for a New Orleans inspired dinner! Yum!

I had the Breakfast Burrito - "The One Pounder" with eggs, bacon, sausage, onions, jalapeños, hash browns, cheddar cheese, (Pico de gallo, green onions, and salsa on the side). I declined the queso and the sour cream. This was, hands down HUGE!! Everything was distributed nicely throughout, but I have to comment on the pico. Being from Texas, I am a bit of a pico snob. Let me tell you, this was homestyle pico +100! It's the bomb!! The jalapeños were diced small, and I definitely tasted a hint of garlic in there. For non-spicy people, one of the things they avoid with jalapeños is that the pieces are too big, and the burn overrides being able to taste the flavor of the food. This was great to add flavor to each bite, without the overbearing quality of the pepper. Amazing, and great. My love had the Tenderloin Tips and Eggs. Her is her review: Eggs (fried) were wonderful, with a hint of sweetness we could not define. Southern style grits buttery and smooth, and the tenderloins seasoned wonderfully and delicious!

We hate crowds more though and some days We just didn't want to rush. We ate here multiple x because it was right in our hotel. Was the food as great as The Toasted Yolk? nope Was it good enough to start a slow morning yep!! The servings are big, the food while nothing fancy is adequate to start your day, the place is not crowded and in a tourist town that's a plus right there. My favorite was just a simple fruit plate with yogurt and granola. Don't forget the Moscato:) The grits were good too!! Hubbie got the biscuits and gravy with sausage and my son pancakes. We also ate supper there one night I got the mushroom burger sans bun , my hubbie the catfish platter, and my son the Philly cheesesteak. The waitresses were nice and worked hard. Would I come again yes! Would I make a special trip here no! If you are staying at the Palace though and don't want to traipse to places for breakfast or Supper. Give this place a chance ! But they are a bit anal about you sitting the proper way -saw them get on a guy cause he moved his chair . It's not that serious Stacked . Otherwise it's a good enough place to eat a standard, filling breakfast

Should have the option of giving 6/5 stars, and even that is on the verge of being insulting!…read more Went in and we were seated immediately (Always good, but I'll wait for good food too). Menu had a good assortment of choices, but the appetizers jumped out immediately. Boudin balls, Spicy surf and turf nachos and a Cesar salad were selected as a meal for the wife and I. Got the Boudin first and it was devoured immediately. A perfect blend of cajun sausage, spices and pepper jack deep fried to perfection and the remoulade was a great accompaniment. The Cesar was delicious. Large portion, crisp greens, tons of shredded Parmesan (not a problem for me) and plenty of dressing. We added 10 lightly fried shrimp that were perfectly done to push it over the top. Surf and turf nachos. Shrimp, shaved beef, queso, cheddar shaved jalapeños and a handful of spices made these THE BEST NACHOS I HAVE EVER CONSUMED!!!!! I have eaten nachos since about the age of 10 (I'm 45 now) and there is no comparison. Period. Michael Minerva' Pub 1842 at the MGM Las Vegas (closed since 2019) used to have the best nacho's. The Tap House in the same building had a Poke Nacho that was a equal substitute. Under The Oak Cafe, you now hold the title for Chris's Best Nacho Choice in North America (a title that's worth absolutely nothing and you certainly don't get a refund). Seriously though, I've eaten from Oregon to Mexico to Florida to the Carribean and points in between and they are the best nacho's I've ever eaten!

We arrived at 6:30. Got seated really quick and ordered drinks and the Chargrill Trio. Oysters came out in about 10 minutes. They were great. As soon as they hit the table the lady I was with ordered chicken wings and I ordered an oyster Poboy. Her wings came out in about 10 minutes. After 45 minutes I still had not received my Poboy. I told the waitress to take it off the bill cause we had to go to the Hard Rock and my companion was done. She said they don't do that and told me she would check with Manager. She came back and told me they were almost done with it and would box it up to go. I told her I didn't want it because it would be sitting in my vehicle until probably 2 in the morning. She told me she wasn't taking it off the bill and got smart with me. I proceeded to tell her to just go get the F-ing bill. Next thing I know security is over at my table. He told me they gave my Poboy to someone else and was making me another. I told him I didn't want it. Anyway, I left Poboy on the table and paid my $90 bill. I can promise you I will never be back and will not be recommending this place to anyone else ever again. They really should fire our waitress! She has a smart mouth, never came to table to ask if we wanted refills nor did she care that I didn't get to eat with my friend and lied about why I had not gotten my Poboy yet. You can check my reviews everywhere I travel around the country and see I am not the one to complain unless service is horrible.

I'm searching Yelp, and don't quite find a clear front runner. So, I change my search to "cocktail bar" and Butler's pops up. I didn't quite trust it as there are plenty of bars in the area between Ocean Springs and D'Iberville, but I wanted an extensive bourbon and whiskey selection for the hubs, no crap! I checked out the photos and zeroed in. Upon arrival, I was completely shocked to find out that it's inside a casino resort. I missed that in my search. It's hidden in plain sight! First and foremost, who knew there were sprawling casinos situated behind residential neighborhoods in Mississippi?! Wow! -- I digress. We committed and we went for it. I'm so glad we did! We were immediately greeted by Josh, bartender extraordinaire, and the rest is history. Remember that extensive bourbon and whiskey selection we were looking for? ... FOUND IT! Butler's literally has it all, and Josh is the perfect handler! He's knowledgeable about the different brands, aging processes, and truly proved himself to be an expert in the field. Aside from the bar, Josh suggested that we sign up for rewards (which we did) and try the food (which we did as well). Overall, he's a team player and made us feel at home. We initially planned to stop in for drink or two, and ended up playing a few slots, and staying for dinner. All in all, our introductory trip to Butler's definitely won us over, and we'll be back soon!
