Thank goodness this little corner finally has some life! I was beginning to think that this area was cursed because nothing that has landed on the corner of Burbank Blvd & Buena Vista for as long as I can remember. I live so close that we decided to stay for breakfast after walking our dog and I love how they have patio seating so I was able to sit outside with my big dog without any issues. Starting off strong with the lavender latte. Do yourself a huge favor and don't forget to order the lavender latte. I promise you it's not a weird taste or strong scent of lavender, it's one of the best latte's I've tried and will continue to order one every time I come back. My hubby got the breakfast burrito, I got the salmon egg benedict and we split the matcha pancakes. Our favorite of the 3 were the pancakes and my husband isn't a matcha person, but still was his favorite of the 3 entrees. I'm sure there's parking in the back, but we walked, so unsure. The staff was very welcoming & friendly, service good have been a little bit more attentive but I'm sure they're working out all of the kinks! We're also hoping this will open up more restaurants on Burbank Blvd, but had to dock 1 star because they don't have alcohol. 'Twas my super lucky find today on Wednesday, Jan/17/2024 that I spotted this Cafe. I was Yelping my way around Studio City/Burbank, CA today as usual. 'BB Cafe & Catering,' was a super delish addition to my day trip here in Upscale LA, CA. Service: 5/5 since you just walk up to the cashier to pay up front. Fortunately, I made the time frame for their Happy Hour. I should have asked for the cashier's name but didn't get to. She was extremely attentive during my stay here. I ordered their: Garlic Lemon Butter Pasta with Grilled Chicken. Ok, that dish made my whole trip's worth. It showed up a very reasonable portion for a Happy Hour item. Other Happy Hour items that were offered: 3 piece chicken tenders/4 pieces of mozzarella sticks, personal sized pizza of various flavors, and some dessert selections. They also offered booze as well. Ambiance: 10/10!!!! the overall layout of the cafe was very endearing, inviting, and elegant to that of my knowledge since I took time to stay around due to not so many customers here. We enjoy dining at this place, great food and service. However, deducting one star because I hate that the tip percentage is deceiving. It looks like the percentage calculation is the total with tax when it's supposed to be based off the sub total. $74.00 with 18% tip is $13.32 not $14.69.
