Unfortunately the quality of the food was 1/10, at least they had good potato's and bacon. The artichoke dip tastes like water. I had a better one reheated from dollar tree. My daughter and I went for lunch to check this place out. We were pleasantly surprised. We ordered a tuna sandwich with a side salad and chicken sandwich with a side of clam chowder. First timer to this new spot. Was welcomed right away, the ambiance was very aesthetically pleasing and super clean ! Aubrey was our server, she was great ! Gave us great recommendations on what to try, I got a bb breakfast I think it was called, came with eggs, hash brown, bacon and French toast! My partner had the same thing, but substituted her French toast for matcha pancakes. We also had some lattes, because we can't forget about the coffee. Overall the experience was great! I'm so glad we finally tried this place in our neighborhood after driving by it numerous times. We came in around 11am on Saturday, there was an artist playing guitar and of course that added some cozy Saturday vibe to the brunch experience. Service was great and food was amazing. We ordered octopus legs, meat lover omelette, waffles. I have to say they were very careful with how much salt they put into their food. If you're coming here be ready to pay 18% on your tip that's already included in your receipt nope you can't go around and yes they ask you for a tip on top of that when you go to pay. As far as the manager, I asked him if I could take off the 18% tip since the I didn't like my service (I was still going to tip) but $20 for a tip on food for only 80 bucks is ridiculous and he said it was mandatory. Anyways this place lost my business just for this simple reason. We weren't sure what we wanted that day, but decided to give BB Cafe a try. Totally Glad we walked in. I ordered the Waffles with Eggs and Bacon, she had the Chicken Schnitzel with side salad. We both had their homemade Watermelon Lemonade that really hit the spot. The Waffles all four of them, were crisp on the outside, light and airy on the inside. My eggs were a bit runny but good, only two slices of bacon but they were thick cuts and very tasty. The chicken schnitzel was very good and crunch flakey crust, fresh lettuce and the tenderest yet flakeist of meat. The side salad was had all the freshiest of everything. just not enough dressing. the atmosphere at the Cafe was great, very energetic staff all very kind. There is plenty of seating as this place has a nice wraparound patio, BB Cafe is located on the corner of Burbank and Buena Vista Blvds. I was looking forward to trying this cafe while my wife and I waited for her hair appointment down the street, we were extremely disappointed and it was specifically from the lack of service. We waited a while just to be noticed by the staff and brought to a table. Once we sat on the table we were basically forgotten. We ended up placing an order to-go due to feeling ignored. How long could a premade yogurt parfait take? Well it took longer than 20 minutes, which was shocking after seeing it was premade. What made things worse is we watched two other groups be seated after us and with them they were greeted so graciously and provided menus, waters and condiments almost instantly after being seated. Tried to make a reservation for brunch for our party of five on a Saturday morning, but unfortunately, they did not take reservations. Our hostess tried to fit us in a very uncomfortable table for four, however, upon persuasion that there were several larger tables available, she reluctantly accommodated our party. A simple, two-sided menu offers plenty of reliable breakfast and lunch options. Among the selections in our party were: Denver Omelette, Florentine Benedict, BB Breakfast Special with Waffle and the Salmon Tartine. Overall, the service was friendly and efficient. Plenty of smiles, refills on coffee and efficiency. For my BB Breakfast Special, I opted with the hash-browns and turkey sausage. The eggs and hash-browns were great, although the turkey sausage was not as warm as the rest of the hot plate. The waffles also arrived about ten minutes after our food had been delivered. It was a tasty waffle, however. All of my friends raved about their meals. The coffee and teas hot, the iced version, cold. The server also offered up some to-go teas and coffees for our party which was a very nice touch. The prices are totally reasonable for the food portions and quality. My friends and I were excited to come to this place after seeing so many Instagram reels and pictures of this place. When we arrived, we were placed on a waiting list but they never called my party and I had to remind them seat us so they had to arrange a table last minute. The service was extremely slow and when our server finally arrived, she did not apologize for the wait time nor bring us the waters we asked for. My friends and I all asked for their signature margarita flights but we were told that there weren't enough cups for us all (we were only four). We ended up getting only 3 margarita flights and they were HORRIBLE. There was barely any alcohol, all juice, no ice and they were WARM. when we asked our server to take them back she made a face at our table and went to go tell who we assume was the owner. Throughout the remainder of our time, the owner kept looking over at our table, walking by and it made us feel extremely uncomfortable that we couldn't even enjoy our time. The food was either way too greasy, my friends panini was totally burnt and my hashbrowns were mushy and undercooked. The service was TERRIBLE, slow and not worth the hype. My friends and I came to have a brunch on Sunday for a little girls day and waited 30min to be seated. While we were sitting here to be waited on it took another 30minutes for someone to even ask if we wanted anything to drink. No apology was given and we ordered our drinks and food while we were at it. We all wanted to order the Margarita flights, the girl was surprised because apparently nobody in a party of 4 has ever ordered that at one time. She has to check if they were able to make them. She came back and said they could only make 3/4. We agreed and she left to put in our order. Even for our water it took 20minutes. Food came and it looked appetizing , hence the looked. Shortly after came the flights. They were presented nicely but the taste was not there, they were warm, and well the alcohol also. We returned 2 of our flights after a sip and the waitress was shocked. The owner was upset with the waitress which was uncomfortable and especially because he kept staring at us and pointing at our table. The food was mediocre and tasteless. Oily. Burnt. Not worth the $21 each. Then when she came to take our plates she did not ask if everything was okay, if we needed anything, NOTHING. She took the plate from one of the girls who was still eating and again, she did not say a word. My friend was the one who said sorry for her taking the plate. 0 out of 10 would not recommend. Not worth the drive or money. Horrible service, not a smiling face in sight in the whole restaurant. Not even the owner who again, kept looking at us and our table. Today was a bad experience at this cafe. At first glance I wanted to give them a chance , my server Sophia was nice . However my order was cold and my coffee was distasteful. When I told the lady about my food being cold she made a face. I felt really uncomfortable and bad that I asked for it to be remade . I found some employees unprofessional, a family member we was behind the counter with the lady who had my order remade, I'm not sure if most restaurants allow that ? I've had the lattes, cappuccino and regular coffee and I'll come back for more. This time around I had a breakfast burrito with turkey sausage and bacon. My GF had the Denver omelette. They had a green hot sauce that was very mild to add to the burrito. I used Tapatio instead. The service is great. The staff is friendly and attentive. I have not had a bad experience from the servers or staff. They always have a smile on their faces. The place is for the most part clean. I checked it out this morning when I didn't want a place with a wait, and I'm so glad I did. The service was great. Looks like you can do takeout or order from the cafe, but there's also a really cute dining area inside and outside. There's a skylight and really cute succulent walls, as well as a guitarist playing really light pretty music. I ordered the BB Special with a sweet crepe, and a vanilla latte. I love coffee and my aunt doesn't, but we both loves the latte. Perfect balance. The food was great and we were checked on several times, which I appreciated. Wonderful ambiance and food. It was a nice place for a date with the hubby but also can be a nice place for families with children. They play music and have it pleasantly decorated. When we arrived we didn't wait long to be seated by the hostess and parking was easy. They also had someone playing lovely music on a acoustic guitar.
