I never leave reviews but I've lived here for 7 years now and that was by far the best tasting meal I've ever had in LA! And the service was incredibly polite and friendly! We got the matcha pancakes and the penne pasta, the fruit was fresh and the pasta sauce was perfectly creamy and full of flavour! Also the ambiance for fall was so cozy! The hash browns had no seasoning at all, and the country potatoes tasted bland -- not even salt. Service was not very friendly either. Our bill came out to $148, plus an automatic $29.60 tip, which felt ridiculous considering the poor service and average food quality. First timers at BB Cafe. We were greeted with warm welcomes as we walked in and were seated immediately. We started off with an iced chai latte & a banana shake. Both which were deliciously prepared. The bb breakfast I ordered came with two slices of bacon. 2 eggs and breakfast potato's along with a short stack. The bacon was beyond overcooked it tasted super crunchy. Potato's were cooked perfectly. And the short stack of pancakes were buttery and sweet just the way I like it esp with the melted butter. The salmon tartini was light and fresh. Food over all 8/10. The waitress did the bare minimum. Took the order, brought the food, but never came back to check if we needed anything else. The service, coffee, atmosphere and food are all good however I ordered the florentine Benedict and unfortunately the poached egg was overcooked which ruined the entire dish. I love a runny yolk and didn't get any of it. It was basically a hard boiled egg. Parking is in the back and, if it's busy, you might have to park on the street. This is a great spot centered conveniently in Burbank. We ended up going on a rainy day and it was absolutely pouring. Unfortunately, the wait was over and hour and it was freezing. Once we finally got our table we were greated with a smile and we ordered very quickly. We all enjoyed a Latte while we waited for the food to arrive. I got the vanilla with a sprinkle of cinnamon and it was delicious. I was able to try the carmel and that was my favorite. The lavender wasn't something that I would order but I was glad I got to try it. The food was tasty... although, everything was slightly cold. I feel like it sat on the pass for a bit and with the cold weather, it probably affected it more than usual. My waffle didn't arrive until we were done eating which was a bummer but I packed it in a to go box and ate it as a snack a little later. It was served with melted butter and no syrup and very little fruit. I enjoyed the live music and the ambiance very much and I believe the food would have been amazing had it not been cold. Overall, the Latte's were the highlight today. Maybe i will return when its not pouring rain and the wait is so long and give it a second go. "A" for the effort, cleanliness, and ambiance but missed on serving warm food. 4 stars because I know the potential is there. The casual restaurant's located by a busy intersection, and it was difficult to find parking in their private lot. The bun was small, but the schnitzel was big and made a visually-appealing presentation. The schnitzel was hot & crispy, and the lettuce added a nice crunch, but the overall flavors didn't "wow" me; it just tasted like a simple crispy chicken sandwich. Maybe I could've dressed it up with some hot sauce? The side of fruit was alright; lots of melons for this time of the year. Also, the service was quick, and the staff were attentive and friendly.
