Today I was craving Korean wings I checked a few places near my house and I decided to go with this location. I typically go to the Brea location since it's on my way from work but today I worked from home and this location is just slightly closer. Because I'm working from home time is key. I placed my order online through the Doordash app for pick up. I left my place with time to get there just in time. As I was parking, I received the notification on my app saying that my order should be ready by now. I decided to go in and check for my order. The lady at the front said that my order had about five more minutes, but they were working on it. I waited 15 minutes before following up. During this whole time, I noticed a box that was just laying there so I asked her are those my wings? To which she responded, yes. It is disappointing that they didn't even hold them under a heat lamp. The restaurant was pretty empty and the AC was pretty cold. When she handed me the order, I didn't notice that the kimchi fried rice did not come in its usual container. It is usually around branded container instead of a black plain container. When I got home, I was not surprised that my wings were not hot. They were lukewarm. That is not what you're expecting for the price that you're paying the portion size is OK on the smaller side. The kimchi fried rice is okay just a bit spicy today.Something else about the rice is that the cheese they use is not the same the cheese used here looks like regular mozzarella shredded from like a bag the one from the other locations it's a different colour texture and flavour. The employee at the front didn't seem to care that my order was just there sitting in the cold AC. It is disappointing that they have no customer service. This location seems nice to come and eat in. I would expect that by then the food is going to be served as it's coming out without allowing other dishes to get cold. In the future, I will not be Ever ordering a pick up order from here if you're thinking about it just don't. I would highly suggest to just go to a different location if you are able to, specially if you want to take out or pick up. For me, it will be brea location.

We come here on a monthly if not more often and the original fried chicken can not be beat. It does take a long time for the food to come out. I would recommend ordering as soon as you get there. The service is consistent and the chicken is always piping hot when it comes out.

Ahh I miss this place so much!! The food is soooo good!! The pasta with fried chicken and ice cold beer just go together so well!! Everytime I visit my mama, I always walk here. Parking at my mom's house is terrible. I'm so glad that they have indoor and outdoor seating too. The pasta is sooo good!! I crave it all the time!! The BBQ in San Diego doesn't have the same menu. Service is good. The food comes out pretty quickly. The owner is super friendly. The place is clean with a few chairs inside and outside. We sat outside because I have my doggo . We were walking her and decide to eat there because I miss the pasta. We always come back for the delicious pasta and fried chicken. The cold beer is a bonus .

First time at the BBQ chicken Buena Park location. We tried a few flavors and overall had a good experience. The Honey Garlic was our favorite -- perfectly balanced and super satisfying. The Special Sauce was also tasty, though we wished it had a bit more of a spicy kick. It reminded us of classic yangnyum chicken, just a little sweeter. The Golden Original is the only reason we're giving 4 instead of 5 stars -- it was noticeably too salty for our taste. That said, the crispiness was definitely there. Overall still a solid spot for Korean fried chicken!

This is my favorite chain for Korean fried chicken. I usually order to-go, and I was always impressed by how crispy their chicken stays even after a 15-20 mins car ride. Super crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside - always fix my crispy chicken craving every time! It usually takes 20-30 mins for them to get the order ready, so I recommend calling or placing an online order if you're picking up. I haven't dined in at this location yet, but they have many table and a cool garden seating setup as well.

Finding a spot open at 10:00 PM was a lifesaver for our late-night hunger. We were seated immediately upon arrival, though we did have to stabilize our wobbly table ourselves with some folded tissues. The restaurant uses a digital ordering system via mini-screens, which is efficient but lacks necessary detail. There were no ingredient descriptions or flavor profiles listed, which somewhat defeats the purpose of self-ordering if you still have questions about the menu. While the rice cake skewers arrived quickly, the chicken wings took about 20-25 minutes, which felt excessive for the timing of the other dishes. We tried the spicy galbi sauce, but it was unfortunately far too sweet for my palate; better menu descriptions would have helped me make a more informed choice. On the plus side, the atmosphere is lively with sports highlights playing on TVs throughout the space. With a few adjustments to the menu information and kitchen timing, this place has the potential to be great.

Really nice warm/clean indoor and outside atmosphere, and kind staff! Some of the best chain wings I've had in OC and recommend everyone to try it once! Favorite is the soy garlic wings, and they have a carbonara that goes really well with the wings. You may notice the wings are bigger compared to other BB.Q's, part of the reason this is my favorite!

One of my favorite chicken spots... I decided to give my go-to order, the BB wings, another try since last time they just weren't hitting. Sadly, today was the same. The BB wings used to be super crispy and full of spice, but now the crisp is gone and the flavor is barely there. I can tell the chef has definitely changed, because the wings I loved and craved from this spot aren't made the same anymore. I specifically chose this location over others because they always made the BB wings perfectly now it feels completely different, and I'm honestly so bummed about it. Service is good here there's this one male server I really enjoy he provides great service and is very kind!! Ambiance is nice seating inside and outside

My sister wanted to try their crispy Golden Original chicken, which was really good! It's not oily as some places may be. I would recommend. I had seen that they also serve fries. When they came out, they looked nothing like the photos and as if they were refried 3 times. They did not taste good at all. I would avoid them. The service is mainly waiters bussing food out since you have to order on a tablet on the table. You have to be lucky to catch their attention to ask for silverware or napkins. The inside is clean and quiet. Hit or miss I would say.

Ordered online today, half original (8piece) steam rice + pickled radish. I was eager to get home, eat & share my meal because I had raved about my last order. This time around, not so much because the batter was so different from last time. Are the wing orders & whole chicken & half orders fried w/a different batter ‍

It's a small gesture, but it immediately made us feel welcomed. We decided to go with one of the combo meals, which came with boneless crispy fried chicken, cheese tteokbokki, and fried potstickers. We also added an order of corn cheese because... how could we not? The chicken lived up to the hype. Perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and coated in a sauce that had me licking my fingers without shame. The cheese tteokbokki was exactly what I was hoping for. Chewy rice cakes swimming in a rich, spicy, cheesy sauce that kept me coming back for another bite. The corn cheese deserves its own paragraph because wow... I understand why Korean restaurants serve this. Sweet corn covered in gooey melted cheese is one of those dishes that sounds simple but somehow disappears before you realize it. The fried potstickers rounded everything out nicely and added another crispy bite to the meal. And because apparently we hadn't eaten enough, we finished with Dippin' Dots for dessert. It was such a fun way to end the meal and brought back a little childhood nostalgia. Overall, the portions were generous, the food came out hot, and the whole spread looked as good as it tasted. This is definitely a place I'll be coming back to whenever the Korean fried chicken craving hits.

How dost one mess up an order not once, but twice in a row?…read more Wing Ferno, we really wanted to love you. But it's clear some serious kitchen training -- and maybe a menu reevaluation -- is in order. Let's start with the spice levels. You used to offer a good range, with the infamous "Wing Ferno" heat reserved for those who truly wanted to test their limits. Somewhere along the way, though, you axed the regular spicy and a few other mid-range options, leaving only mild, medium, and Wing Ferno. No warning, no clarification. When we called to place an order, the staff casually said "spicy," which we assumed meant something tolerable -- not a fire-breathing, stomach-churning sandwich . And we can usually handle our spice -- we're Korean. But this? This had us both violently ill for days with stomach issues. (Sorry for the TMI, but that's the truth.) We chalked it up to a miscommunication and decided to give it another shot. This time, we explicitly asked for medium heat to avoid the inferno. And yet, one of our sandwiches showed up missing half a bun. How does that even happen? We really hoped to add Wing Ferno as one of our go-to spots, but after two back-to-back disappointing (and stomach-wrecking) experiences, we're going to have to take a long break -- if not call it quits altogether. Please do better, Wing Ferno. We want to love you!

I walked in and noticed they do have limited tables. I wouldn't say this is a big group kind of place. Luckily for us, we were a party of 4. I looked at the menu over and over and couldn't really decide what to order. I had the dilemma of trying to feed my kids. So of course something not spicy and some carbs. I ordered the fries and honestly they were a miss. I didn't like that dirty oil flavor on it. I also did the cheese balls expecting some cheese full, but that again was a little mochi like in texture with no cheese pulls and dusted with a sweet cheese powder. It's an acquired taste. Those are some of the ehhh dishes. However the star of the show were the boneless chicken. We did their ddeok bokki mala flavor. Dang, that thing hits! It's very spicy, but in a good strong salty and spicy flavoring. It's also not too runny like other ddeok bokki's I've had in the past. I was thoroughly surprised by that dish. Now back to the boneless chicken, just be extra careful on your first bite. It's oozing with juices and piping hot. I had to open a few ahead of time to peel the meat for my children. They loved it. Now, pro tip, I would order the original again and order a side of the flaming sauce. That was super sweet and spicy. The perfect compliment to the crunchy texture. I also ordered a side of the boned in wings and had the soy spicy flavor. That was really tasty. I would order beer next time bc these flavors were bold and needed a cold beer to cool down the heat. Now, the thing that impressed me the most were the crunch on every single piece of chicken. They are by far one of the most inquire flavors and texture combination I tried. One thing, that made me say, hey I'll come back here again, was their workers. My son accidentally dropped the fork and like a few parents, we would just pick it up and wipe it off and use it again. I know, not everyone will do that. If you have a toddler they can drop that fork like 4 times sometimes. Anyways, the waiter noticed that and quickly brought us a clean new fork. That's some fine dining detail that I have never experienced in a small restaurant before. Kudos for the wait staff on that. One item for improvement is to offer some carb options like rice or noodles. I know it's more bar or finger food, but can't really serve Asian food without rice.

The kimchi, kkakdugi (radish kimchi), and gat kimchi are absolutely delicious. I heard that the owner makes everything in-house, and you can really tell how much care and skill go into the food. The staff are also incredibly kind and welcoming every time I visit. Galbitang (Beef Short Rib Soup) - This is honestly the best galbitang I've had in both OC and LA. The broth is rich and flavorful, and the beef is always fresh and tender. Whenever I'm craving galbitang in the OC/LA area, this is the only place I go. Yukgaejang (Spicy Beef Soup) - The amount of ingredients they give you is amazing. I've had it both dining in and as takeout, and it's consistently delicious every single time. It's perfectly seasoned, and has just the right level of spice. As much as I love the galbitang, I think I actually enjoy the yukgaejang even more. Pork Cutlet (Donkatsu) - This place is known for its galbitang and seolleongtang, so I wasn't expecting much from the donkatsu... but why is it this good? The cabbage salad dressing that comes on the side is seriously addictive. The portion size is huge, there's no way I could finish it by myself. It has the crispy texture of Japanese katsu, while still having a great pork flavor of its own. I honestly think this could be considered one of their signature dishes. If you're looking for authentic Korean comfort food with generous portions and warm service, I highly recommend giving this place a try. I'll definitely keep coming back!
