The online ordering process is super easy, and I love that they send text updates so I know exactly when my food is ready. One of the best perks is their rewards program, so you can earn points every time you order. My go-to meal is the Spicy Galbi Boneless with a side of rice. I also always get a side of ranch, although that's the one thing you currently have to order in person when you pick up your food since it isn't available as an online option. Parking is also convenient because there's a free parking lot on the side of the building. It can fill up during busier times since there are several other restaurants in the plaza, but I've usually been able to find a spot. If you don't order online, you can place your order at the front register or use one of the self-service kiosks inside. The restaurant has plenty of seating, making it a nice place to dine in, and there's also a restroom located toward the back. We ordered their Secret Sauce Wings as well as their Strawberry Snowflake Ice. The wings really good. They had a nice sweet and tanginess to them and perfectly fried. Crispy on the outside, tender inside and very saucy. You place your order at the kiosk that is placed right at the entrance. You get the snowflake ice first if you order both at the same time. I was pleasantly surprised that the chicken I got was absolutely as delicious as it looked. They have a very cool way of ordering they have kiosk in the front of the store ensures that your food ends up coming out correctly because it seems as if some of the cashiers did not speak English. I seen that they had macaroons like, little pastries that you could also order in addition to the extensive variety of flavors you could choose to toss your wings in. They also have organic and flavorful Boba tea, which I was able to get the guava and it had a really great floral taste to it... For context, I ordered takeout so I can't speak on the location. In total, I ordered 8 piece soy garlic chicken wings, Rose' Ddeok-Bokki an order of dumplings, and an order of fries to share! I've been on the hunt for good fried chicken wings and I think these did the job for me. They were flavorful, crispy, and the portions were just enough to where I could've finished them comfortably. The dumplings were huge and so delicious! The fries were crispy and simple but not in a bad way - they hit the spot for when you want something that's not doing too much. Now, onto the Rose' Ddeok-Bokki. Typically, this is one of my favorite foods (I always order it whenever I see it) but the one here was disappointing. The app gave me the option to add an unnamed cheese for $2 which may have been my mistake but I love cheese so much that I looked past it. In my experience, it has always come with mozzarella which gives it a nice subtle flavor, so that's what I was expecting. But not this. I can't even tell you what kind of cheese came on this dish but it was so overpowering and salty, it made the entire thing inedible. It was already a pricey meal so I felt like I wasted my money on that dish because I ended up tossing it. I'll have to try it again in the future without making the same mistake. I would recommend specifying any add ons with up charges if possible, especially on apps. As for the service - the food was still hot and fresh when it arrived. This is by far my ultimate favorite Korean Fried Chicken in the country. Tried bb.q Chicken for the first and several times after in New York (Chinatown) and was extremely happy to see outlets here in Chicago too. The crisp on the chicken is so well preserved which is hard to expect from a takeout order but they deliver and how! The spice, savory and sweetness, and stickiness of the sauce is what makes each bite such a journey and not your average fried chicken. We ordered our typical order: Half Golden Original (5/5) and Half Hot Spicy (5/5) fried chicken; a side of Pickled Radish (5/5) which is the ultimate palette cleanser and adds the best kind of freshness to the meal; and a side of Secret Sweet sauce (4/5) to dunk the naked Golden Original Fried Chicken in. I may have however also dunked my Golden Original fried chicken in the incredible Ddeok-bokki sauce to get that awesome flavor in. This was our first time trying the Ddeok-bokki (4.5/5) and what a great decision it was. It had an exceptional flavor. Out of the 4 different Korean Fried Chicken places here in Chinatown, this is my favorite place to order my Korean FC. Soy Garlic is the usual flavor and everyone has this flavor but what makes this chicken different is the "Galbi" flavor wings - which has a light sweet and savory sauce with a grill flavor that makes this chicken so awesome. You couldn't order from this location online tonight, so we ordered at the kiosk once we walked over. Then it was about 25 minutes for our food to cook. They don't have the maple crunch at this location and they were sold out of gangham style flavor (sad). We got the galbi, spicy galbi, golden original, & honey garlic. We also got a few hong kong style eggcakes. I think they must have cooked the eggcakes a little before the chicken was ready because they were already kinda cool before the chicken was ready. Even with sold out items, inability to order online and skip the wait, and cool egg-cakes, this was a solid 4-stars because the chicken was excellent in texture and flavor. It stayed hot on our walk back to our place in Chinatown and there was no danger of sauce spillage. If you want them they provide plastic gloves for finger-food eating without getting sauce all over you. Cautious kids approved of the honey garlic and the non-spicy galbi.
