Half and half whole chicken with secret sauce
    Clarissa C.

Got takeout, so can't comment on restaurant itself. We ordered through DoorDash, and the food was ready very quickly! We got the half and half whole chicken, which comes with half original and half secret sauce. It says secret sauce is spicy, but I felt absolutely no spice and found it more sweet, so that was great!! The half with the sauce was definitely better, as it was much more juicy while still maintaining the crispy outer batter!! The original side was a toss up - some pieces were super moist and crispy on the outside, while some were quite dry inside. The fries were so crispy right when we picked up the food!

*TAKEOUT* Quick, tasty, okay priced Korean fried chicken. Cost $18 | Rating 7/10 Called ahead to get two orders of 8 wings. Food was ready in 30 minutes and the checkout was fast. Restaurant looked nice for casual dine in. Was upset about the 3% charge for using card regardless of how much you bought. Food was packaged well and still tasted crispy at home. Loved my Gangnam wings and even as a cheese hater the Cheese wings weren't bad. Overall fits a craving. Just a bit over priced.

bb.q Chicken is in the same building TSAoCAA which I have already reviewed. I'm not why they have two Yelp pages, but I'll write a short review for this one. We ordered their Secret Sauce Wings as well as their Strawberry Snowflake Ice. The wings really good. They had a nice sweet and tanginess to them and perfectly fried. Crispy on the outside, tender inside and very saucy. You place your order at the kiosk that is placed right at the entrance. You get the snowflake ice first if you order both at the same time. I would recommend ordering the wings first because this it takes longer to make. You definitely don't want to eat dessert first and the. something spicy or tangy afterwards. My wife loves this place, so we'll definitely be returning.

    Cute seating

I was pleasantly surprised that the chicken I got was absolutely as delicious as it looked. They have a very cool way of ordering they have kiosk in the front of the store ensures that your food ends up coming out correctly because it seems as if some of the cashiers did not speak English. I seen that they had macaroons like, little pastries that you could also order in addition to the extensive variety of flavors you could choose to toss your wings in. They also have organic and flavorful Boba tea, which I was able to get the guava and it had a really great floral taste to it... I don't really like floral tasting tea so I probably won't get the guava Boba again. The service was courteous. The cashier brought my food to the table while I was waiting. There were quite a few people sitting and eating in because it's a cute cozy spot with very cute decorations. I can't wait to come back again. The chicken was really crunchy flavorful and just fried very well.

Soy Garlic Wings and Fried Dumplings

For context, I ordered takeout so I can't speak on the location. In total, I ordered 8 piece soy garlic chicken wings, Rose' Ddeok-Bokki an order of dumplings, and an order of fries to share! I've been on the hunt for good fried chicken wings and I think these did the job for me. They were flavorful, crispy, and the portions were just enough to where I could've finished them comfortably. The dumplings were huge and so delicious! The fries were crispy and simple but not in a bad way - they hit the spot for when you want something that's not doing too much. Now, onto the Rose' Ddeok-Bokki. Typically, this is one of my favorite foods (I always order it whenever I see it) but the one here was disappointing. The app gave me the option to add an unnamed cheese for $2 which may have been my mistake but I love cheese so much that I looked past it. In my experience, it has always come with mozzarella which gives it a nice subtle flavor, so that's what I was expecting. But not this. I can't even tell you what kind of cheese came on this dish but it was so overpowering and salty, it made the entire thing inedible. It was already a pricey meal so I felt like I wasted my money on that dish because I ended up tossing it. I'll have to try it again in the future without making the same mistake. I would recommend specifying any add ons with up charges if possible, especially on apps. As for the service - the food was still hot and fresh when it arrived. The prep time was about standard for a Sunday afternoon. Overall, this isn't cheap but if you know what to get, the food is 100% worth it.

The chicken here is great quality, crispy and flavorful. The spot seems more popular for takeout, however. The interior is clearly just a converted space from a coffee/ boba shop and not ideal for dining. Food is ordered at a counter.

There attitudes are terrible from the time I walked it the girl at the register was rude! Then I got my food n my chicken was undone. They didn't want to accommodate and remake the chicken or refund me. If I can give 0 stars I will. Slimy and black on the inside

Half & Half Chicken (half: Hot Spicy, the other half: Golden Original); Secret Sweet sauce and Pickled Radish on the side; and Ddeok-Bokki

This is by far my ultimate favorite Korean Fried Chicken in the country. Tried bb.q Chicken for the first and several times after in New York (Chinatown) and was extremely happy to see outlets here in Chicago too. The crisp on the chicken is so well preserved which is hard to expect from a takeout order but they deliver and how! The spice, savory and sweetness, and stickiness of the sauce is what makes each bite such a journey and not your average fried chicken. We ordered our typical order: Half Golden Original (5/5) and Half Hot Spicy (5/5) fried chicken; a side of Pickled Radish (5/5) which is the ultimate palette cleanser and adds the best kind of freshness to the meal; and a side of Secret Sweet sauce (4/5) to dunk the naked Golden Original Fried Chicken in. I may have however also dunked my Golden Original fried chicken in the incredible Ddeok-bokki sauce to get that awesome flavor in. This was our first time trying the Ddeok-bokki (4.5/5) and what a great decision it was. It had an exceptional flavor. It was spicy but the sweetness made it more-ish which kept me returning to this incredible bowl of goodness. I haven't found any other place that does Korean Fried Chicken better than they do!

Half & Half Chicken, Kimchi Fried Rice w. Bacon
    Stacy H.

Bit disappointed with this place. We got the half and half chicken (original + spicy) and the kimchi fried rice. Pros: -Good sauce on the spicy -Chicken is moist Cons: -Kimchi fried rice had barely any bacon - saw two tiny, tiny pieces in the whole container. Would've expected more for being $11. -The original flavor is comparable to popeye's, nothing special. -The spicy sauce was not fully coating the chicken. So there were a good amount of pieces with barely any sauce on them. Most likely will not re-order unless Crisp is unavailable.

Wings and dukbokki! Packaging A1, crispness and flavor were amazing. Great place to order for a get together or a lazy date night :)

    Original, spicy, Gangnam Style Wings
    Clara S.

This spot was nowhere near what I expected. It is basically a run down tea shop that serves chicken. We ordered at a kiosk and waited a while for our order. There wasn't ac either on this super hot day, and no water service. The chicken though was very tasty. We got the half and half whole chicken - original and hot spicy. The spicy was my favorite. We also got the Gangnam style wings, and these were sweeter. We had to order the kimchi fried rice as well, which was super heavy and a big portion. I liked the bacon bits! Overall, this is a takeout spot. If you want to dine and eat great chicken, go to one of the other locations in the suburbs!

The screen was filthy (they just opened as a reminder) we couldn't tell what was in the 'combo' and then when we were going to order the boneless chicken wings, as they were gluten free when we ordered them years ago, I asked one of the women in the kitchen to confirm. (Kari's Rating 8/10)…read more Came in on a Friday night about 8 o'clock, and I didn't realize there was a basketball game tonight, so the bar was really packed with IU fans. I heard off this place from an Instagram video from a food blogger. There wasn't initially seating when we first got in, but the bartender/hostess helped us make a makeshift table. We also didn't have a chair so she had to go find a chair and she found one so really appreciate her hustle. The wings came out pretty quickly, the honey barbecue wings were really sweet, and came with a substantial amount of sauce. The ranch was impeccable. It was not too thin and came with celery. The birds nest hot sauce was relatively hot for a medium. I was definitely feeling the spice after two or three. I think there was a little too much sauce on the wings for me, personally, but overall very good. The volume is really loud because everyone was there for the game, so we kinda had to yell over each other to have a conversation.
