From the moment we walked in the young lady and young man were totally uninterested in us or offering us decent service. My husband ordered some Mac cheese that he took one spoonful of and said it tasted chalky like out of a box. He told the server he didn't like it and asked to switch to sweet potato fries, which the waiter with total lack interest, said we don't have sweet potatoes and offered no help. Even though he left it all on the table they didn't remove it from the bill. This was my first and last time trying this place. Totally disappointing from first to last bite. We sat down and ordered the original chicken, waffle fries, The food came out quickly and it all tasted freshly prepared. My friend said his ginseng chicken was a little too salty. The parking was difficult today, but we got lucky. The decor inside was hip and music was majority hip hop/ rap which matches the ambiance. These were spicy that you can still taste. The Soy Garlic wings are your traditional sweet and savory flavor, but better! These were my fave. Double Crunch wings are a classic. My cousin and I decided to share the Friends Combo ($50.45) which comes with 5 piece Original Crispy chicken, 10 Teri Gold wings, 1 Dduck Bokki and a pitcher of beer, which we opted for Blue Moon. Service was a struggle. Staff was putting sharing plates onto empty tables preparing for future guests, when they didn't even bother to give us plates or anything for a table with guests. We had to wave them down and ask for sharing plates. The dduck bokki was spicy but not flavorful. There was a lot of rice cakes, pretty cheap on the fish cakes and other things. The original crispy chicken was good when it was the first bite, but after eating the flavored one it tasted pretty bland. I was disappointed when I asked for sauce on the side, they weren't open to doing that unlike other Korean Fried Chicken joints. The teri gold wings were described as a garlic soy. The sauce was okay, but the chicken didn't taste too fresh. Needs more sauciness. I love Korean Fried Chicken, but this one didn't fulfill the cravings.
