While it used to be our go-to spot, some recent consistency issues with the food are making it harder to keep it at the top of the list. On our last lunch visit, the Cuban sandwich arrived as just a regular sandwich--not hot or pressed at all--and the fries were cold. To their credit, our waitress sent it back and the second version was much better. However, brunch was a different story. The yogurt parfait was mostly just melons with maybe a tablespoon of yogurt. The grits also missed the mark with a very overpowering chicken stock flavor. I usually try to bring home leftovers to reinvent or "doctor up" so as not to waste food, but even recooking these at home with plenty of cream and butter couldn't mask that heavy chicken taste. We didn't get a chance to send them back at the table because our server didn't return until we were ready for the check, so we ended up paying for a meal we didn't really eat. The atmosphere remains a huge plus. The upstairs area is 21+, which is fantastic for watching sports or having a more adult-focused outing. They also have great outdoor seating, which is perfect for enjoying the Georgia weather. One thing that's a bit confusing is the policy difference between locations. They don't offer bottomless mimosas at the Halcyon spot, even though they do at the Dunwoody and Brookhaven locations. It's a bit of a letdown when you're expecting the same experience across the brand. In the end it's a great atmosphere for a "gals' outing" or catching a game, but I'm hoping they can get the kitchen back to the consistent quality we used to expect.

Horrible customer service. One of the guy who works there he is racist. I went in and this guy took my order, I forgot to tell him that I want my bagel toasted , but I reminded him while he was making. All other waiters asked their customers if you want it toasted or not. Then I ordered two bagels as I have to give it to some one else , so I asked the guy which bagel is this, he said, "ohhh nottt toasted one" okay what type of response is this? I didn't say anything. Then I received my other bagel and I was looking at it.. he said from her ohhh make sure you check your food.. keep checking. What the hell is wrong with that guy? He was completely racist. This place is great. I love just about every bagel they make. A toasted whole wheat bagel with cheddar and jalapeno cream cheese is one of my favorites. The blueberry with blueberry cream cheese is also a winner.I often pick a couple of extra up for my coworkers. Can get SUPER busy in the morning and on occasion the service suffers due to the hectic amount of things being made/ordered/moved. I am not a huge fan of their coffee but that is because I am picky when it comes to my morning brew. I need to spend some time trying something else on their menu but the bagels are so good I just can't seem to do it. read more

My wife loves their bagels. She likes that they taste very much like the bagels she got when she lived in NY city. The everything bagel and the salt bagel are our two favorite bagels on the menu. We haven't tried their other menu choices are sat down in the diner part, but we would like to at some point. Two toddlers put the brakes on things. If you want a good, reasonably priced authentic bagel, BB's Bagels is a nice place to go. read more

I went recently with my husband and 3 year old. He had the eggs benedict, and the hollandaise sauce came out 'broken'. It was nasty. I had an egg white omlette- which was good, but my feta cheese was still cold in the middle and not even close to melted. We ordered fruit with my daughters pancakes, and it was a bowl of canned condensed blueberries. YUCK! For 30 bucks for breakfast, it was a ripoff. read more

I've dined here several times and never been disappointed. Both service and food is solid and consistent. I'm always thrilled with the breakfast, whether bagels, eggs, or hash. Since I'm not a big burger fan, I can't comment on them. Sandwiches are OK; fries are great. If you're there for a late lunch, they sometimes give you a bag of free bagels as you leave! This place is great and the food is really good. The one issue is the hours and the parking, well i guess that is two issues. However, the food make up for it. The portions are huge and some items could esily be shared between two people. The bagles are to die for and they also have custom cream cheeses. Love their bagels, never tried anything else. Read the commandments on their website before you go. Call to place order for pick up, keep dialing as it's always busy. The system for pick up during Covid isn't great as you have to walk out past others waiting in line and there isn't a good flow but wear a mask and enjoy the bagels!!! read more
