Staff was affable and competent. Prices are fair. Offers free wifi and street parking. What captivating for me was their interior design because it kinda reflected that of your own living room with flat screen tv, bookshelves, bar stool, love chair, sofa and a coffee table. Overall, I had a nice experience and somewhat enjoyed my iced coffee; I really like their chill living room vibe. I still recommend this coffee shop.

I've been thinking about this potato since.... I got the Chile Verde x Pork Belly scrambled and the whole burrito stayed together, which is always a plus. I just had their bacon burrito, and it was a total chef's kiss moment. I've already talked about how good the breakfast burritos are but I must say now, this is a proper third wave coffee shop too. I had a latte first and then a signature horchata latte the next day (I'm staying at the hotel it is attached to but it isn't owned by.. must be said, although the hotel is nice this is not hotel coffee or food hehe). We had gone to the UCLA football game at the Rose Bowl on Saturday night and after all the mayhem was over at 11:30 pm I really wanted some truly good food and not get gouged on price - and I knew that Yelp would help me find just that...and we found Los California Tacos! First of all, this food truck was voted the nations #1 food truck in 2022 by ZenBusiness who evaluates food trucks based on Yelp reviews and voted them #1 out of the top 10 most reviewed food trucks in the US! - So there's that. I'm originally from Texas and the rule there is the way to find a great restaurant you for a place that has a lot of cars in the parking lot and a line out the door. And this taco truck is tucked back in the small parking lot of an auto repair shop sonofabitch you're driving too fast you might miss it. But we saw all the cars parked on the street and then the line of people at the truck. My girlfriend was like "I don't wanna wait a half hour to eat" but because of how late it was (they stay open till 2:30 am) we decided to stay and give it a try. It was astonishing how fast they were moving people through that line! From the time we hit that parking lot, we were feasting within 5-7 mins. They only serve 2 things - street tacos ($2.50 each) and we later saw that they also serve nachos (not sure what the price is on nachos - but we'd love to try those next time ). They have a wonderful assortment of meats as you can see from my pic: asada (steak), pastor (BBQ pork), carnitas (fried pork), chicharron (spicy pork), cabeza (beef cheek) & pollo (chicken). We got asada, pastor and pollo tacos and they were VERY good. You can get spicy or mild and they come with onions & cilantro. There are 4 or 5 guys cooking and as soon as you tell them what you want they are handing to you - not kidding, lightning fast, hot & fresh! It is artistic how well-oiled their whole business runs and is VERY impressive!! They don't have actual tables (because that would be inefficient). The auto repair shop has installed a pull-down shelf on the parking lot wall that you walk over to once you have your food and it is very efficient and absolutely perfect for this location. Again, this one our most impressive finds and $14 for 5 tacos and a 5 min wait for what looks to be a 30+ min wait is just unheard of. 5 stars all day long!!

The fries were overly fried and salted. Id stay away from it. Service was meh. First off, the cashier took only 2 of 3 burger orders. I dont remember him repeating my order so when we got or orders only 2 were billed and made. Then they forgot to serve our drinks I had to come back and ask for those. They chased the 3rd order but we waited about 5 minutes to start digging into our food. The restaurant is alright. They do share space with Matu cheesesteak so you're basically fighting for chairs and ta les on a full house. Lastly, they charge a fee. Be warned. This is an occasional one off place.

From the moment our aguas frescas came out, we knew this place was different. The lemonade was freshly made, and honestly, who does that anymore? They do. Since it was our first visit, I asked our server to surprise me with her favorite dish. She recommended the Casorio, and wow. The presentation was beautiful, and it tasted even better. I can't gatekeep this place anymore. We moved to the area about two years ago and have been searching for a family-friendly restaurant with consistently great food. I think we finally found it. I got to try the queso fundido with chorizo, chicken empanada, pupusa revuelta, and the ceviche tostada plate. The queso fundido was cheesy and rich, and the salty chorizo paired perfectly with the chips. The chicken empanada was crispy on the outside with a moist and flavorful filling. The handmade pupusa was one of my favorites it was soft, cheesy, and packed with flavor. You could really taste that it was freshly made. The ceviche tostada plate was super fresh and refreshing, a great balance to all the richer dishes. Everything we had was delicious, and our server Melissa was awesome. She made sure everyone at the party was well taken care of and kept things running smoothly.

Omar, our server, was really informative about the food and the portions. Glen(assuming owner/manager), came over to talk to us and wished us a happy anniversary. We gave him our history about how my wife and I met at work and how we used to work down street many years ago. So it was nice to come back to the area. The interior decor and mood was perfect. Not to crowded on a Tuesday but still enough people.

When I walk into a local restaurant, I find it incredibly rude to be rebuked by bar staff because of the hat I'm wearing as I sit down with my significant other for a nice dinner with drink. Unfortunately this was the case last night. I don't care to get this employee singled out by management for an otherwise pleasant experience. But as a general business strategy I might condemn this behavior with my staff. Great margaritas, loved the tuna ceviche and the carnitas was top tier.
