This is a small mom & pops kind of place. My family has hosted many family dinner here for special occasions, including birthdays, Mother's Day, Father's Day etc... The staff are helpful and quick to provide service. Venue is clean although a bit crowded when the place is packed. If you want bbq this place authentic with hanging roasted pork and roasted duck that you can see from a clear windows. The food is superb! Delicious! We ordered many dishes from scallop & eggs fried rice, E-fun noodles, char sui pork, ong choy (Chinese greens) with stinky tofu. We also ordered fried Dungeness crabs, steamed chicken w ginger sauce, fried fish filet, peppered beef and beef curry. Nothing goes to waste!

Great authentic Chinese food. Prices are cheaper or equal to other authentic Chinese restaurants.

I got catering from here and have eaten here multiple times as a Vegas Chinese local. Depending on who's cooking the food can be a hit or miss but still a good option when you're craving Chinese food. The staff working there do their due diligence and are nice. The place is a little out dated and could use some rennovations but you come for the comfort food and family style eatery!

My current favorite for Chinese BBQ and Hong Kong style dishes. The have 5 big tables for large parties and a few 4 tops. Lots of delicious seafood options on top of the standard Chinese BBQ e. Super nice , clean and bigger than the other local options.

I've came here once to pick up a whole duck before and wanted to give their other dishes a try. They do offer hot tea like most Chinese restaurants. The food came out pretty quick. Beef chow fun was good but there were a little too much onions and i do love onions. It was better than most places but i feel like it still could've had a little more flavor. The salt and pepper shrimp was seasoned good and only had a few pieces that were hard to open from being overcooked but still overall really good. They also gave an extra plate for the shells and napkins.

The storefront in this tiny and congested strip mall does not face the main drag so this place is a little hard to see from the street. I almost thought they were closed when I pulled into the parking lot because of the blacked out front windows and as I was walking up to pull on the door, I had a momentary hesitation since the foreboding dark windows made my imagination go awry. I was a little concerned I was going to open the door and find an illicit gambling operation inside but my apprehension was replaced with excitement as soon as I saw the glass cases of roasted meats awaiting my ingestion. There is something about animals hanging in a case after a barbecue sauna that hits me right in the hunger zone. This place has a lot to offer including char siu BBQ pork, roasted crispy pork, roasted ducks, soy sauce chickens, and even some great looking pigs ears. There were some other chafing pans with unidentifiable animal parts braising themselves to tenderness that I'm sure were offal of some sort but my mission was a plate of the char siu over rice. Cash is king at this place so don't try to pull out your credit card or you might not get fed. For just under $10 I got a generous serving plus some green veg to make me think that I was eating something healthy. It definitely all hit the spot and while I have had char siu in some places that I might rate a bit better, those have been in places overseas. Certainly I have not found it better in Vegas. For the money, I walked away fat and happy. You won't get the warmest greeting from the workers when you walk in but it adds to the Chinatown feel. Plus, I didn't go in to try to make friends. I went in with the sole purpose of eating something comforting and tasty without breaking the bank. Mission accomplished.

We decided to check out this BBQ restaurant after seeing the high ratings across multiple review…read moreplatforms, so I'll admit our expectations were pretty high. It's located off the Strip in a somewhat hidden, out-of-the-way plaza, which gives it more of a local, low-key feel. One thing I noticed right away was that the menu posted in the lobby didn't have prices, but the menu behind the register did. They have a huge selection of food, so there are plenty of options to choose from. We ordered the burnt ends, brisket, mac and cheese, chicken sliders, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and cornbread. The brisket was unfortunately overcooked, although the burnt ends were good. The meatloaf was okay but definitely not the best I've had. The mac and cheese was good, and the mashed potatoes were actually really good. The chicken sliders were just okay, and the cornbread didn't really stand out. Overall, I was a little disappointed because the reviews had me expecting something exceptional. Everything was decent, but honestly, the meal was pretty mediocre for me. Nothing was terrible, but nothing really blew me away either. I'd still give it four stars because there were several good items, the menu has a lot of variety, and our overall experience was fine. However, based on the ratings, I definitely expected more.

The food was absolutely delicious - fresh, flavorful, and you can tell they put a lot of care into what they serve. Definitely don't pass up on their pastrami! One thing I really like is that they have daily specials that are available only until they sell out, so it's definitely worth checking what the special is when you go. It's a small spot with just a few tables outside for sit-down dining, which adds to its casual neighborhood feel. Nothing fancy or pretentious - just really good food that speaks for itself. What's even more impressive is that this isn't just a neighborhood spot for locals. Visitors actually seek this place out and will make the drive from the Las Vegas Strip just to eat here. I can see why! Definitely one of those places you're happy to discover, and even better when it happens to be right around the corner from home. We'll absolutely be back to try more of the menu and their daily specials!

You can tell it's family owned and operated which also makes it special. Truth be told, I'm not really a BBQ fan. I like smoked meat, but I don't like barbecue sauce and I don't particularly care for traditional barbecue side dishes. We picked some food up for a friend who lives in a rehab facility and likely will never leave. He had a craving for barbecue so we went to John Mull to pick up his favorite. We also got one combo to take home for ourselves and share. We got the pulled pork which I actually really enjoyed and my husband had the brisket which he said was delicious. I didn't have any o side dishes because like I said I don't particularly care for them, but my husband said the mac & cheese and mac salad were really good. This place is right up the road from us and I would use them for a catering event. I just can't say it's something I would go back to because I'm not a fan of BBQ, but I know a lot of other people are and it definitely put a smile on our friends face who had a craving for the best barbecue in town
