    Bacon breakfast burrito
    Rogelio L.

Nothing bland about it!! I work in Covina and I'm always on the hunt for a good breakfast burrito when the craving hits. I've tried surrounding areas and they're good but I think this one takes the cake. It's savory and everything is seasoned so well. Paired with the mild salsa makes every bite so satisfying. I was greeted right when I walked in. It's a small spot with big flavor. This will be my breakfast burrito spot. I have yet to try everything else. Will. be. back!

Nice little mom and pop joint. The 3 meat burrito was really good and well balanced with the ingredients. Would come back to try their famous fried chicken

100/10!! Delicious, a must try if you're in the area. The staff was incredibly friendly, the inside is small, but do not underestimate this place. Was recommended by a friend and well worth it! We will return.

Good Grub, Southern Comfort Soul food! My friend had the Chicken and Waffles, which is their signature dish. Enjoy for breakfast, lunch or dinner! I'm not judging, any time is the right time for this one! I had the Pulled Pork on a sesame seed bun with mild sauce. The meat was tender and delicious. For the side dish I had a scoop of their Mac n Cheese, reminds me of my Grandmother's cooking. I also had onion rings, which were perfectly seasoned and not oily or greasy. This little cafe is small, but their home-cooking and family recipes pack a big punch! They are so nice and helped me make my decision because there was so many of my favorites it was not easy to choose (shrimp, ribs and hot links!!). Street parking is limited, they do not have a private lot, there is a parking structure one block north, its easy to find across from the Metrolink train station. Check out their schedule and plan your day/time to try for yourself. Sincerely, Rosemary

BB's Cafe reminds me of going to a family friends cook out. They serve you the freshly made food in bio degradable plates and I think it adds to the family cook out feel. I ordered the entree waffle and the pulled pork breakfast burrito. Both were delicious! The waffle was warm and the breakfast burrito was a unique soulfood-Mexican fusion that works really well! The location is right off the street, so it is convenient to pull up and grab your to go order. They have a clean sitting area, and have flyers for local events that I appreciate too. You can tell it's a positive business to the local community. The staff is friendly and helps you make decisions if you're a first time customer. They recommend the chicken and waffles and breakfast burritos. The only thing I would have liked was to have water with ice. They only have canned beverages and bottled water. I'm not a big soft drink person, so having water with ice would have been nice.

Pulled Pork Sandwich with fries and mac

Called to make an order! Had it ready at the exact time i got there! Ordered a pupled pork sandwich combo with fries and mac and cheese. The pulled pork was so juicy and flavorful. I like that they had pickles on the side (also good). The fries were well seasoned. The mac was super cheasy and perfectly spiced. Definitely will be coming back to try more!

We decided to come here after church because of yelp review. It did not frustrate our expectations. The food is great. The chicken, waffle, and fries. They have limited seating that can only occupy 12 people on three tables. But service rendered by DK is awesome. The price for the food we eat is considerably cheap. I will give this experience with 4.8.

The food is wonderful! Freshly cooked crispy chicken and waffles reminded me of my Nana and my Mom's cooking. We used their catering service to get a pan of prepared uncooked Mac and cheese for our family's Easter celebration. The directions were spot on. Our family recommends the sweet potatoes and greens too!

MAN!!! This taste like you're grandma's food, if your grandma knew how to get down in the kitchen! Everything was absolutely AMAZING!! BEST COLLARD GREENS, BEST MAC AND CHEESE, BEST CATFISH I have ever had!! This place is a must go!! Ill be back in a few days! Thank you!

BB's Cafe serves fresh ingredients and cooks to order. The Chicken (4 pieces) & Waffle costs $14.95. There's no line, and I waited 11 minutes. I arrived 9AM on a weekend. The chicken is freshly cooked. The skin is lightly crisp and dry. The chicken is not oily; rather, the ingredients taste clean and fresh. The pieces are small, and its bone is thick. The chicken had very little seasoning. It's a freshly cooked chicken with little flavor. The warm, thick waffle is more memorable than the chicken. The waffle is firm, fluffy, and filling. The melted butter and syrup added to the waffle's savory taste. BB's Cafe is small. There's three small tables with chairs inside. There's no bathroom for customers; the server recommended walking across the street to use the park's bathroom. Thankfully, they provide a tiny hand-wipe for customers to wipe their hands. Also, BB's Cafe does not offer water in a cup; if customers want water, they need to purchase a water bottle. In addition, the indoor dining area is chilly from the open door. Bring a jacket if you want to eat inside this winter. And parking is very limited. If customers can't find nearby street parking, customers must park across the street and walk over. I recommend ordering to-go. The staff is welcoming and friendly. They greet the customer as you enter and leave. Overall, BB's Cafe is a good experience. The food is fresh. It's not unique, memorable food, but it's a satisfying bite.

Ask the Community - BB's Cafe

Is this cafe open on Sundays? It says it's open until 2pm but I've called multiple times and now answer. I really wanted to support small business but unfortunately I'm getting no response.

Yes, here now (sunday) and there are open til 2pm.

It says you have vegan options? What are your meat-free, egg-free and dairy free options? Thank you, in advance.

It says vegetarian, not vegan. That basically just means meatless options. If you're not ok with dairy and eggs, I wouldn't eat here.

They actually came by to chat with us, which made the whole experience feel personal rather than just another meal out. Honestly, it's the kind of spot where you feel completely comfortable striking up a conversation with the table next to you too. That's how welcoming the atmosphere is. Food-wise, we couldn't have asked for better. The pork belly was absolutely delicious, the sourdough bread was perfectly soft, and the potatoes were seasoned just right. I'm not usually a big coffee drinker, but their iced vanilla latte won me over. Add in the DJ playing chill background music and the overall friendly atmosphere, and you've got a spot that nails both the food and the experience. Highly recommend if you want a meal that feels like more than just a transaction!

I can't explain what it was. The vibe felt different. I think it was the seating. The first time we sat by the window and it felt intimate. The second time, we sat pretty close to another table, and it felt less intimate. The Chili Oil Toast was really hard. The toast wasn't crispy, it was just hard. The crispy pork belly was still delicious. I think the green onion garnish was missing and made the dish feel off. The Breakfast Burrito was the same. Still very filling, healthy, and delicious. I will continue to recommend this as the main course. We ordered a half-order Sweet Potato Bowl this time. I loved the house-made almond butter. The texture was great and felt balanced and healthy with the sweet potatoes and fresh berries.

NO PLACE TO SIT‼…read more First time there I checked online it looked interesting, met my friend here and we walked in and saw there were no tables and chairs. No place to sit so basically once you have coffee or order whatever you're going to order you need to exit. They have a large back employee room where I believe there could be chairs to sit, but there was a sign that said "Employees Only". this used to be a Starbucks place so they have the capability to put tables & chairs. From what I see they really don't give a heck about the customers. The servers were not friendly at all and when I asked if they have a place to sit they said no, I asked why not when you come to a coffee shop you come to sit down and order a coffee and maybe food. So to me their business model is not to provide good customer service just to have you come buy their expensive coffee and leave. My friend and I had to go across the street and find a bench to sit down and drink our coffee. Shame on you, Rad Coffee, I will not be coming back‼

Luckily they had a drive-through. I wasn't about to go inside where it was packed full of people. I did not have the energy or mind set to sit and wait. What we ordered; *Cortado - 5/5. Had I known how amazing this drink was, I would've ordered the larger size. I drove away instantly regretting the small cup with my first sip. I literally wanted to turn the car around but everyone was crabby and wanted to go home. Since then, I have ordered a Cortado from other places. Unfortunately, they haven't been able to come close to the Cortado from Tierra Mia Coffee. *dulce de leche latte - 4/5. This was too sweet for me but it was good. My husband ordered it which is out of the ordinary for him since he always sticks to a mocha. I will definitely be going back to Tierra Mia whenever I am around. I will for sure order the larger Cortado next time and I can't wait to taste that deliciousness again.

The plaza it's in isn't impressive, and it has no flashy sign. It's next to a laundry place and a 7-11. The food we had was good. The Cuban sandwich is different from the typical pressed panini. It's made with sourdough bread. It's not overpowering in any particular flavor, and most importantly, it's not greasy. Adding extra Dijon mustard makes a big difference. Replacing fries with house-made potatoes adds a nice variation. It was missing sliced pickles. The flavor was good and melted cheese paired well. The smoked bagel would be better with sliced red onions and capers, which were absent. Otherwise, it was good. The bagel wasn't overly dense. The service was quick and friendly.

We sat indoors and water was served right away, the server was very friendly, outgoing and respectful. She was happy to answer questions. Today we were served by Rebecca R. She seemed so unhappy, bothered and annoyed to serve. I asked for the same breakfast we had ordered my daughter before and she was confused and annoyed and replied with "oh that's not on our menu anymore" which wad then followed up by "we don't have a kids menu" My family ordered waffles they arrived very burnt and hard. She had an excuse that their batter was too thick so they must cook them longer. The toast I ordered was ok, they needed a little bit of salt. The salad was good. The steak my husband order was not the full steak he has received in previous visits. We were not once checked on, no water was refilled, she forgot my husband's drink which was a cucumber lemonade. The ambiance needs some TLC, it feels dusty and the seats/booths need to be wiped down properly. The restroom decor the same, needs some dusting and deep cleaning. Another thing is the patio door stayed open allowing flys to just roam inside. I wouldn't come back here again EVER.
