Host was very welcoming and the variety of food was plentiful. The service was great from the free complimentary gyoza to all the amazing Teriyaki choices! This is my go to spot when I'm in Seattle!

Super nice staff! Five stars to the guy with the sincere smile behind the counter. Chicken super spicy! We thought it was good. Portions very reasonably priced. Gyoza would have been tastier if steamed not fried. I did ask if they were fried before ordering...

The food was pretty bad. The chicken was dry and flavorless. We will not be returning.

Food: I had one of the bento combos and it came with miso soup, a side salad, and a large dinner plate. The first thing that stood out to me was how much of everything came with the bento. On top of that, everything was very fresh and tasty. The dragon roll was also very good! Service/Ambiance: The staff here was very friendly. The restaurant isn't huge so I'd imagine it could get pretty packed during a lunch or dinner rush. There a few parking spots out front in the plaza, but also lots of street parking nearby. Price: For the quality and portions of the food, I would say this is a great value. The bento was around ~25 and the roll was ~18 which is pretty standard in 2026

A decent Japanese dining experience in Wedgwood with some hits and misses. We had a big table and…read morethe place was packed, so on the positive side the staff is very friendly and welcoming, they quickly took our 12+ orders and repeated them to make sure it was right, and always kept our water glasses full. The sushi bowls and rolls are huge portions and they tasted good, and I appreciate the warm sushi rice underneath (hate when it's cold). Finally, we were celebrating a birthday so we appreciated them bringing out a complimentary dessert and it was very cute having them play the birthday song on the speakers so the whole restaurant sang along! On the misses, the spicy salmon hand roll was extremely salty to the point where it was burning my tongue. The hot dishes like the salmon chanchan yaki and chicken teriyaki were bland and overcooked, didn't even want to bring leftovers home. And the sushi took FOREVER to come out, at least 15 minutes after the hot dishes, so be warned if it's busy. Parking is also very limited on site so that;s another warning if you're going during busy times.

Baked crab with glass noodles was served in a clay pot. Tasty and well seasoned. I do wish there was more crab to the dish. Tom yum moo was served with three different types of pork. The broth was tangy like tom yum but creamy at the same time. Kao Soi portion was HUGE! Definitely can feed two easily. Curry was on the blander side but you can request for a spice rack and doctor it up yourself. HIGHLY recommend the vinegar brine from the spice rack. I've been burned aplenty, and so I went to Gao Lhao with tempered expectations. Well, the neighborhood might be starting to shake off that curse. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite of the eight-or-so dishes my group ordered to share family-style. Standouts for me were the NY Steak with Penang curry (elite sweet and savory combo) and the crispy pork noodles. The yuzu almond salad was also a nice lighter addition to the lineup. I'm firmly in the phone-eats-first camp, but you'll notice I didn't abide by my own rules here for the most part. That says something! Only minor ding would be the NA drink options. even a regular (non-slushy) Thai Tea would be a welcome add. Looking forward to coming back!

Their boba is soft, chewy and fairly decent. I tried their Saigon milk tea and it's good. They seem to make it fresh each time you order. I have tried their poke bowls only so my review would be mainly about their poke bowls. The available shops nearby is pretty limited so having a place that sells poke has been great. Their portions are adequate and the bowl comes with some sides already added like cucumber and edamame. The selections change slightly based on availability but pretty consistent. The place has small local shop feel and I like it the way it is. Not a flashy place but a good spot to try on your day off feeling lazy or too tired from studying.

I'm not trying to be harsh, but if you truly enjoy sushi, I'd recommend going elsewhere. Every roll we ordered was dry, especially the crab, which tasted old. None of us could even finish our food -- it was that bad. I've never had sushi that dry before. Even my roll with spicy mayo and seared salmon somehow had zero flavor. It was honestly shocking. Maybe we caught them on an off night, but unfortunately, we won't be returning.
