SHOUTOUT to the entire staff who served us tonight!

The BEST tag team staff & management. Everyone seems to have their job, yet all can also help you with whatever you need. BEST PART... EVERYONE is pleasant, friendly & well trained. You ask for more banchan, they got you. Hot tea in your rice, they got you. Need a scissors to cut the pancake. They got you. Need a to go box. They bring one immediately! Ready for the check, you don't even have to ask... it's here. The combos come with an amazing amount of food. Sure, the tofu pot is A LITTLE smaller, but only by 2-3 bites and you get to pick a meat or vegetable side big enough to share! One server even comes over to double check you got everything you ordered! Impressive. There is a management staff looking over everything and making sure everything is running smoothly. Nice touch. All the food was delicious and plentiful. The hot pot rice was delicious and the best Kim chi. You could tell the food was made with the freshest ingredients. I've been her more than a few times, but tonight was clearly the best experience yet! Thank you BCD Tofu!

I've come to this BCD location multiple times with my boyfriend and have had a great experience everytime. In my opinion, this place is better than the Irvine location in terms of food quality and the welcoming atmosphere. The freshness and high quality of the side dishes (especially the cucumber kimchi and potato salad) and the tofu soup (my favorite is a childhood nostalgia, the ham and sausage, and is filled to the brim with tofu) is always such a hit, especially when I'm craving something warm. My partner also has enjoyed the dolsot bibimbap, the spicy pork, and the kimchi beef soon tofu. My favorite thing to do is not eat the rice directly with the tofu soup, but have it with the hot barley tea poured into the rice stone pot (as requested). My boyfriend tried that for the first time on our most recent visit and really enjoyed it as well. Additionally, the service is great here. They fill up the side dishes frequently as requested and make sure your water and tea are topped up. In particular, I really like a worker named Julie, who is hilarious and also makes sure to thoroughly top up whatever side dishes my partner and I request. I hope to continue being a patron of this location and highly recommend visiting!

Went out for a dinner of 4 on a Saturday night. The line was long but the turnover is quite fast so we got seated not long after we joined the wait-list. We all order different things off the combo list, which came with a soft tofu soup each. We were also served a fried small mackerel as an appetizer. The fish was a little bony as mackerel tends to be, especially when you're frying the whole fish, but the taste was great. The rice served in the hot stone was fluffy and of the perfect consistency. I already had one small mackerel as an appetizer so I wish I would have chosen a different entree rather than a larger mackerel, but it was still good. I really enjoyed my tofu soup. It even came with a raw egg to crack inside so that this soup could cook it. This hot stone keeps it blazing hot the whole time you're sitting there. And the banchan was definitely flowing. They refilled it multiple times so we definitely felt like we got our fill of kimchi, potato salad, cucumbers, and other pickled veggies. There are a lot of vegetable and vegan options here so it's great if you have some of those in your crowd. Not the fanciest place, but we were well fed and the quality of everything was nice. A solid choice if you're in the area and craving Korean tofu.

Banchan spread, fish cakes and potato salad were my personal faves!

Went on a Friday night and it was fairly busy, but the wait wasn't too bad though for a party of 3 (~ 13 minutes). I ordered the raw marinated crab combo and it was the perfect amount of food. It comes with a small version of their tofu stew and rice. The raw marinated crab was SO good too, good level of spice and very flavorful. They do not skimp out on the marinade either! Their banchan is also yummy, and I love that they provide a fried fish! You don't normally see that at other Korean restaurants and it's so yummy. The servers are also very kind and attentive. You just can't go wrong at BCD!

Had a nice dinner with a few friends on a Friday night! The wait wasn't too ling, about 20 minutes with aot of people waiting outside. Ordered combos of Spicy Bulgogi, Crsb, and the Galbi. Each combo comes with a decent tofu soup serving that's more than enough, unless you want just the single large bowl. The servers and host were quick and professional, everything came in and out fast. This place is awesome. I've eaten here before, it's been a long time. Out of k the amazing restaurants on this street, this one of the best outings I've had. Great experience, decent price, well worth it.

Come here a lot with colleagues and friends and it never disappoints! Service is super fast and friendly, food comes out super hot, and the ambiance is casual, bustling, with reasonable levels of noise. Great for lunch!

Had a great experience at BCD Artesia! The service was excellent from start to finish. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made sure our table had everything we needed throughout the meal. A special shoutout to Katherine, who was especially kind and helpful during our visit. She was very attentive to our needs which made my experience more enjoyable. The food was also delicious. Everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. My fav is the Assorted Soon Tofu, it comes with beef, shrimp and clam. So good! Between the great food and the outstanding customer service, it was an all-around wonderful dining experience. I look forward to coming back again soon.

I came here around 7 pm on a Saturday and we only had to wait five minutes. Thankfully they have some benches inside so I didn't have to wait outside. They even apologized for the wait which was kind. The menu is pretty straightforward which you also use as a placemat. I ordered the bulgogi and soup and it came with a bunch of side dishes like fish and kimchi. Honestly eating all the side dishes made me almost full and made the price of the meal completely worth it. The soup and bulgogi were really good and their tofu really is that soft! I took some boxes to go since I couldn't finish it all and it made a nice meal for the next day. The service was really good as well and our server was very attentive and helpful. We parked pretty far into the parking lot since it was pretty crowded

I'd been hesitant to come back to this specific BCD Tofu after my poor experience a few years ago. However, this recent visit was the complete opposite. The tofu soup was much better this time around. It was definitely more flavorful and spicier, and it also seemed better prepared overall. Instead of just seeing the water and gochugaru separate, it was well-made and well-mixed. Everything came out hot, and the overall experience was a lot better.

BCD Tofu House is hands down one of the best spots for Korean comfort food. Their soon tofu is incredible--rich, flavorful, and always served piping hot in the stone bowl. Every bite is packed with deep flavor, and you can really tell the quality is top-notch. The banchan (side dishes) are always fresh and delicious, and they bring out so many that you feel taken care of from the moment you sit down. Whether you go with beef, seafood, pork, or combo tofu, you really can't go wrong here. Service is fast and attentive, the restaurant is clean, and the atmosphere is welcoming. This is the kind of place you come back to again and again when you're craving real Korean comfort food. Highly recommend--BCD never misses.

Not sure when this started, but this is the first time I've seen a banchan cart going around at BCD! Someone goes around pushing a cart of banchan containers on ice asking if you want refills of kimchi, cucumber kimchi, fish cake, bean sprouts, potato salad, and preserved squid. It's great! The kimchi was a little inconsistent during this particular visit (e.g. the first batch was very bland, but the second batch was super salty), but the other side dishes made up for it. They still have some of the best fish cake around! Their fried fish appetizer is always good, and I look forward to it whenever I come to BCD. The Dumpling Soon Tofu is always my go-to. They give several smaller dumplings in the soup rather than a few large ones, which I prefer! The soon tofu always comes out piping hot and delicious. The menu says that you get an egg by request only, but our server made it seem like it's always included. Either way, ask for one just in case because the egg make the soon tofu even better! Their Seafood Pancake is also good, nice and crispy! I like it has a decent amount of seafood, including shrimp, squid, and mussels (which I haven't seen in other restaurants' seafood pancakes!). I also appreciate that they give each person their own dish of sauce, so you can feel free to double dip to your heart's content!

Seriously can't go wrong with BCD Tofu House. It's consistent, delicious, and always good, any time of the day. Service is usually pretty good. Expect it to be a bit slower when they're busy, but from my many experiences here, they're usually pretty good regardless of how busy it is. Expect it to be a loud environment. Plenty of seats but when it's busy (read: weekends and nights) expect it to be a bit packed. They usually play kpop on the speakers, ranging in generations, which is great. Parking can be tough - it's shared with the plaza with plenty of other businesses and restaurants, but even if you're parking "far" it's still not that far of a walk. Overall, 10/10, would keep coming back again.

    Spicy Raw Crab

BCD Tofu House is the most globally successful Korean tofu restaurant and remains the gold standard for soondubu. This location continues to excel, serving exceptionally fresh and delicate soft tofu in rich, deeply flavorful broths, accompanied by vibrant banchan and their crisp, award-winning kimchi. What truly earns my highest praise, however, is their yangnyeom gejang (spicy raw crab). The crab is impeccably fresh and top quality, with a naturally sweet, jelly-like texture that melts in your mouth. The marinade strikes a perfect balance of gochugaru (Korean chili powder), soy sauce, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and sugar, creating a bold yet harmonious blend of savory, sweet, and umami flavors. This dish is a family favorite and an absolute explosion of taste--deeply addictive thanks to the contrast between the silky crab, assertive chili heat, and fragrant garlic. The galbi (marinated beef ribs) was also outstanding: exceptionally tender, savory, and sweet, with a smoky depth that made every bite memorable. The restaurant itself is clean and welcoming, with friendly, attentive service that enhances the overall dining experience. This BCD Tofu House location continues to uphold the brand's reputation for excellence and consistency.

We were craving some warm pho on a cold night, and Soup Shop sounded like the perfect spot. Write your name down on the waiting list at the front podium and then wait for your name to be called. They have a few seats to wait right outside the door. Once we were seated, we were given menus. I really like that their menu has a lot of large photos of the dishes, so you know what you're getting! Once we ordered, the food came out pretty quickly despite being busy. For appetizers, we ordered the Crunchy Pork "Bao" since it sounded unique. Inside the bao is pork shoulder, mushroom, Vietnamese sausage, and quail egg. The outside has a thin, perfectly crispy layer that gives a nice little crunch when you bite into it. Really enjoyed these and would recommend! We also got the Crusted Parmesan Cauliflower. Not sure what's in the sauce, but it's sweet, tangy, and delicious! It's also topped with fried onion, cilantro, cucumber, and parmesan cheese. Also a winner! For entrees, we got the Chicken Pho and the Pho Ribeye. For the chicken Pho, you can get it with thigh or breast meat. I got it with breast meat, and they gave a good amount of meat! A little dry, but I appreciated that it was nice and lean. The flavor of the soup is really good. Pho Ribeye was also tasty! Hit the spot.

Food: The soups were quite bland for our taste so we did a bit of customization with salt and pepper. Although they provided a decent amount of banchan, the proteins in their soups were pretty scarce, not worthing the $19 price tags. Their Hae Jang Guk was the only soup with the bone filled up the bowl. However, because there's no space in the small bowl, even a little nudge made its soup spilled all over my sister's body. The waitress just then gave her a bib but the damage had already been done. The Bulgogi and Katsu took the longest to come out but they were the highlights of our meal. Service: We were the only table at the time and our waitress only gave us 2 menus for a table of 6 so we had to go grab our own from other tables. She's not the friendliest and kept tossing things on our table. She also tried taking away a dipping sauce jar after I had already requested to keep it. Our water was never refilled and napkins were very skimmed out. Though she did check up on our tables, her attitude was what made us refrain from asking for help. We love to give smaller businesses a chance, but we're sad to say Jomaru is not one of them.

I absolutely loved the crispy bottom layer because it added such a satisfying crunch to every bite. The inside stayed really juicy and flavorful with a good balance of pork, shrimp, and chives. The Juicy Pork Dumplings had soup inside, which was rich and savory. I've had soup dumplings before where the wrapper breaks apart too easily, but these held together nicely while still staying soft and delicate. The Wonton in Spicy Sauce was my personal favorite from the entire meal. The spicy sauce flavor was savory with a little sweetness. I'm typically not good with spice, so this is at a spice level that should be very manageable for everyone. I absolutely loved the spicy sauce, so I started putting it on everything. Definitely put the sauce on the chicken fried rice! The Chicken Fried Rice was a great dish to pair with everything else that we ordered. With several orders of entrees, a solid rice dish is a must order for any Chinese meal. The rice had a nice savory flavor that I enjoyed, and there was a generous amount of chicken mixed throughout the dish. I even asked the waitress if they do anything special with the fried rice because it tasted better than many other restaurants. It felt comforting and balanced compared to some of the heavier dishes. The Dry Fried String Beans were cooked perfectly with a slight crispness while still being tender. The garlic and seasoning gave them so much flavor that it honestly didn't even feel like I was eating vegetables. I do have to note that these were very much on the salty side, so if you don't like foods that are too salty, I would choose a different dish. The Orange Chicken was really crispy and juicy, which I appreciated because soggy orange chicken is always disappointing to me. The sauce had a nice citrus flavor while still keeping that classic sweet savory taste. The Spring Rolls were simple with vegetable filling on the inside with a crispy outside. I would try a different appetizer next time. The Kung Pao Shrimp was packed with flavor and had a really satisfying combination of textures. The shrimp were tender, and the peanuts added a great crunch to the dish. I thought the sauce had a really nice balance of spice and savoriness without becoming overwhelming. Another dish I really enjoyed was the Beef Roll Pancake. The pancake itself was nice and chewy throughout each bite. The sliced beef with green onions and sauce all wrapped together made every bite really flavorful and satisfying. For drinks, I ordered the Jasmine Milk Tea with Boba. I really liked that the jasmine tea flavor was noticeable instead of being overly sweet like some milk teas can be. The boba had a soft chewy texture, and the drink itself paired perfectly with the spicy and savory dishes from the meal. Just a heads up, even "mild spicy level" has a noticeable heat, so if you're sensitive to spice, don't try to be brave... go no spice. The meats were surprisingly good, tender, not chewy, which is where a lot of places mess up. Noodles came out hot, no complaints there. We also got mango sticky rice and this is where they really sealed the deal. Mango was perfectly in season, juicy, sweet, not that sad sour off-season stuff. He said it was okay. It looked pretty good to me. Thai ice tea: I ordered this with boba. And as I was drinking it, I don't know what was in it but it definitely was not boba. It was orange with a chewy texture. I checked the receipt and it clearly says BOBA.

Me and my crew just got done with a long day but we still needed dinner. They were pretty tired so…read moreI decided I'd just get some Thai/Chinese take out and bring it back to the hotel. We have full kitchens in all the rooms where we're staying along with plates and all the set ups. The rooms even have dishwashers! So, I found this S T Noodle Bar near by and decided to give it a try. I kinda know what there guys like to eat, so I just ordered a bunch of food. The only request from anybody was for Pad Thai, the most common dish at all Thai restaurants. I GPS my way over and order the food. I was Khao Soy on the menu and I don't see that at too many Thai places that I've been to, so I got an order of that with chicken. Of course, an order of Pad Thai, 2 orders since I have 5 hungry people to feed. Also, I ordered the Thai coconut soup, I think it's called Tom Kha with chicken. One more noodles dish was the Drunken Noodles, it's kinda like Chinese Chow Fun, but has a more spicy flavor and basil in it. The food was all pack and bagged for me to take back to the hotel. We used my room since I have a bigger room. We had plates and set ups for all five of us and we re-plated the food on the serving plates that came with the room. All the food was really tasty and everybody was happy not to have to leave the hotel. I heard compliments on the Pad Thai and the Coconut soup. It was a good idea just to do take out and eat at the hotel here.

Checked out S T Noodle Bar today and had a good experience!…read more We were eating with an infant so high chair friendly was a must. We were greeted and helped right away and got a place in the restaurant that fit us well. We ordered the veggie spring roll, tofu soup, beef pad thai and tom yum. The veggie spring roll tasted fresh and the sauce added a nice layer of flavor. Off the bat, the portion sizes for the tom yum and pad thai were VERY generous (from my experiences with Thai restaurants). The pad thai stood out and was absolutely delicious! The service did great with helping us out and attending to our requests. The ambiance was relaxed, and where we sat in the back was cool because there was upbeat music playing loud enough to muffle the surrounding sounds but still soft enough to have conversation at our table without needing to raise our voice. Overall, I'm glad I gave S T Noodle Bar a try! I'd recommend it!
