The kimchi fried rice was my favorite, full of flavor not too greasy and loved the pieces of beef throughout the dish. I loved their kimchi and radish on the side. The steamed dumplings were lovely with the dipping sauce. The Donkatsu was a little overcooked but it was still a tasty dish with crunchy outside, the sauce was great. Black bean noodles were great but the fans were on full blast in the restaurant, our food got cold pretty fast. The women working behind the counter were hospitable and kind. The 2 of them seem to run the restaurant together. They have a bathroom available, but not in the greatest condition. The dumplings are good either fried or steamed. I usually dip in the tteokbokki sauce but they give you a soy sauce mix on the side. They drop off your food however the other parts like getting water and clearing your table are self serve, this is all great because you can go at your own pace. I ordered the beef bowl and the fried Mandu. Both were delicious and the portions were pretty generous - I had enough lunch leftovers for dinner. My boyfriend and I had ordered 1 black bean noodle with a large sweet and sour pork. Total came out to $38 which is pretty pricey but was very filling. I love the batter they use for the sweet and sour pork, it's super moist when you bite into it. I didn't have much interaction with the cashier accept just her taking my order and taking my payments. It was fairly quick so I didn't have to wait long. I took it to go. My first experience of black bean noodles was great. I ate it with radish and kimchi that it came with. It was so good. I have no complaints. There was literally a lot of noodles. I was able to eat it 3 different times. I will definitely come back and order it again when I crave black bean noodles. I've not had it, but I came cause I craved it, even though I never had it. I have a soft spot for mom and pop owned restaurants. I was near by doing some work and wanted to grab early dinner. Pulled up and there was no one there so I went in solely off the photos on Yelp. Was pleasantly greeted by the cashier woman and one of the men in the back. They happily gave me a menu to take togo and had me look through everything. I expected up ordering their beef and chicken plate which included a delicious miso soup, salad, pickled radish, kimchi (this was sooooo good), and two egg rolls. This was more than expected for $14.99 so I couldn't complain! The food smelled and tasted great. I wish I lived in the area because I'd come here more often for lunch. I came back with my wife to get more of Otto Kitchen because I was blown away by the kimchi fried rice. Having another person allowed us to try two different dishes and again I was blown away by the umami flavors in both the spicy cold noodle dish and the jajangmyeon. Each dish had such great flavor and was not overwhelming with spice where it would ruin your meal. Even the kimchi side dish was sweet and crunchy, which fits my flavor profile to the tee. Truly a hidden gem in such a dead plaza. Credit is due to the chef and their unique twists on these Korean staples. I can't say enough about this place.
