    King Short-rib Soup
    Traci L.

Passed by this place so many times and finally decided to stop by one night for takeout. Ordered the king short rib soup and jjajangmyeon (not pictured). My oh my was this delicious and so comforting. There were decent amount pieces of short rib inside and even though I had takeout, the soup was still piping hot. The jjajangmyeon also had pieces of pork which added some great flavor. Parking is very easy in this plaza and I definitely will be back to try other food.

So glad it was my turn to choose where we get to have dinner for gal pal night, we all tried a new place and really enjoyed it! Great service, tasty offerings. We ordered the kimchi fried rice, steamed dumplings, black bean noodles, and Donkatsu. Everything was shareable and we had leftovers. The kimchi fried rice was my favorite, full of flavor not too greasy and loved the pieces of beef throughout the dish. I loved their kimchi and radish on the side. The steamed dumplings were lovely with the dipping sauce. The Donkatsu was a little overcooked but it was still a tasty dish with crunchy outside, the sauce was great. Black bean noodles were great but the fans were on full blast in the restaurant, our food got cold pretty fast. The women working behind the counter were hospitable and kind. The 2 of them seem to run the restaurant together. They have a bathroom available, but not in the greatest condition. This place has a lot of charm, overall a good time and would gladly return.

Amazing food for lunch. I've had their different lunch bowls and it so fresh. The price point for all of their meals is so affordable. A++ The ladies working here are so nice it was 95° today and she gave me this free drink. So kind-hearted

My go to place for bibim naengmyun - mix of noodles with spicy sauce in a refreshing cold broth. The service is friendly and prompt. They sometimes have a buy 1 get 50% off on certain menu items. The dumplings are good either fried or steamed. I usually dip in the tteokbokki sauce but they give you a soy sauce mix on the side. The tteokbokki is sweet and spicy and you can opt to add ramen or other toppings. The spicy squid is also a favorite! The various soups are also good (udon, tofu soup, etc).

Super yummy food! Got to try the cold noodle! Exceptionally good! Teriyaki chicken special is my fam bam all time favorite! Come support this join!

The services are so nice in Korean, explanation was kind and understandable. The food looks nice and salivated as well:)

Tangsuyuk - sweet and sour pork

I was really craving sweet and sour pork (tangsooyuk), so I gave this place a shot. Big mistake. The meat had zero flavor and absolutely no crispiness--even though I picked it up fresh, it was already soggy. I should've just gone to Panda Express. Definitely not coming back for this dish.

Jungjungmyeon - delicious and good portion

Love this place. Came here for lunch and was greeted with very friendly staff. The food was great. We had the black bean noodles, dongkatsu, teriyaki and beef bowl, and other dishes. Everything was delicious. Portions were generous and they even brought out extra salad and soup for us. Very upbeat place with nice decor. Nice place, great food, but what stood out for me was the friendly and helpful service!

    Spicy squid over rice

A nice and convenient spot in Cerritos. It has a great selection on the menu. The food taste original and comes with larger than regular sized bowl or plate. We tried jajang myeon, donkatsu, spicy squid over rice, fried dumplings and teriyaki bowl. This place is worth coming back.

Revisiting a restaurant I haven't been here in years. Yes it is still good as I remember it. Spicy Sea food soup was excellent. So full after eating service was fast and efficient. Ambiance was typical for Korean restaurant.

Are you guys planning to sell kimbap through Ubereats?

We no longer sell kimbap anymore, sorry about that.

    Do they cook with MSG?

Not that I've seen them add it, but it could be in their sauces or marinades. I've been coming here since it was E-teliyaki and am sensitive to high doses of MSG. I have never felt odd after eating here, except when I eat a load of chili / spicy… Read more

From the friendly service that made us feel like home, to the delicious food, everything hit the spot. We ordered the cold noodle, seafood pancake, bibambap, and short rib combo. All the dishes were so good! And all the banchan that came with it was the cherry on top. The only negative was the table was kind of small for all the dishes...though that could have been user error with us ordering way too much. Portions were surprisingly big, especially the seafood pancake. The whole time, our littlest one was making a mess and the ladies that worked there did not seem perturbed at all, and kept commenting about how cute he was and interacting with him. This type of service and response made us feel more at ease and able to "enjoy" our meal, and that makes a world of difference. I would recommend! Note the parking lot is a little small.

It was nice having a party where we can share a little with others and get a chance to try some things we normally don't. The big find for me was the mackerel, it actually looked like a huge flounder, perfectly pan fried. We also ordered 2 of the seafood pancakes, they came with 8 slices each, just a perfect appetizer for 15 (and 1 left for the one who missed the party). Food: The soups were quite bland for our taste so we did a bit of customization with salt and pepper. Although they provided a decent amount of banchan, the proteins in their soups were pretty scarce, not worthing the $19 price tags. Their Hae Jang Guk was the only soup with the bone filled up the bowl. However, because there's no space in the small bowl, even a little nudge made its soup spilled all over my sister's body. The waitress just then gave her a bib but the damage had already been done. The Bulgogi and Katsu took the longest to come out but they were the highlights of our meal. Service: We were the only table at the time and our waitress only gave us 2 menus for a table of 6 so we had to go grab our own from other tables. She's not the friendliest and kept tossing things on our table. She also tried taking away a dipping sauce jar after I had already requested to keep it. Our water was never refilled and napkins were very skimmed out. Though she did check up on our tables, her attitude was what made us refrain from asking for help. We love to give smaller businesses a chance, but we're sad to say Jomaru is not one of them.
