Definitely one of the best sit down korean spots you can eat. Theres a simple menu but all cooked fresh with a lot of love. Theres 4 sets of tables (not for big parties) and a bathroom. Plenty of parking as its in a shopping plaza but i recommend calling in your order whether you are sitting or togo. It's a small mom and pop so you will need to be patient to be rewarded with great taste. There are definitely other korean places to consider but considering the price, location, and authenticity you can't beat it. I highly recommend taking a cupbap to Don Knabe for scenic lunch. read more

Stopped by K Food Express for takeout and tried their bibimbap along with an order of mandu. The bibimbap was definitely the highlight--great portion size for the price, and the meat was juicy, flavorful, and more generous than I expected. The mandu was decent --pretty average in terms of flavor and the filling-to-shell ratio. Still enjoyable, but I've had better from other restaurants. The staff member who helped me was friendly, and the interior looked clean with plenty of seating if you decide to dine in. The restaurant is in a small plaza, and parking wasn't an issue when I went at night. Overall, a solid spot for a quick Korean meal, especially for takeout. You need to try Tang88 immediately! Not only is the food amazing and tastes like a home cooked meal, but the owners are the sweetest people who really care about the meals they serve their customers. The interior is newly renovated and very clean and spacious. The menu is also the perfect size with lots of variety. We got the army stew and porkbelly to try. After getting some coffee, I needed some food. This small restaurant is located in a large plaza. There's lots of parking. I was walking around the plaza, and popped in this shop just to see what they're selling. It seems like it's a mom and pop shop. Yay to supporting small businesses! When I first entered the shop with friends, I noticed how intimate it seemed. The dining area was clean, with catchy kpop music in the background. Also, the woman was pretty patient, while we took awhile to look over the menu. The food does take awhile, since it's only the couple working. She bought out a large water bottle for the 4 of us. When the food came out, I was a bit taken back by how much food there was. I ended up taking home half of my food. I ordered the bulgogi cup-pop. I took one bite, and I could taste how fresh and authentic the food was. The food was also delicious. The lady was nice enough to bring us an extra soup, even though we only ordered 3 meals. I definitely recommend this place. Even though it's in a dead plaza, don't let that deter you from going. The service was friendly and excellent. This place needs to be more popular!! It's located in a shopping center all the way in the back corner of a parking lot; a hidden gem. You get a lot of food for a great price and the best part? It's delicious! We always pick up a cup bop whenever we go! I love the donkatsu but the spicy pork and bulgogi are both great picks as well. We ordered the fish cake soup and the portion was HUGE. We got a big bowl of fish cake soup with tons of fish cake and yummy broth, WITH the soup that already came with our meals. It's a great place to come check out, support your local restaurants! Second time coming here with the hope that I can order Kim-bap! Unfortunately, it seems that it has been taken off the menu so I'm not sure when I'll get the chance to try it. They do have the cup-bop options and their bibimbop (which I ordered to-go) which are tasty. Portions are fairly large as well, I couldn't finish my bulgogi bibimbop in one sitting, and it's nice how the dish comes with everything separated (sauce, bulgogi, rice, veggies, with a fish cake soup on the side). I was in the area and wanted Korean food and this place popped up on Yelp. There was plenty of parking in the lot on a weekend. Inside, the ambiance was nice and clean. I ordered the bulgogi cup bop and it came with japchae, kimchi, soup and rice. The bulgogi was really good and the toppings were fresh. I'm especially impressed by the big portion size, I was only able to finish half of my meal so you really get a bang for your buck. a super clean, tasty, fresh, local, mom and pop shop. this is everything i ever wanted AND they close late at 11pm! the man who took our order was exceptionally kind and generous, he gave us two small bowls of delicious soup with our order and water to share. the fish cake soup was light and the bulgogi cup bop was one of our all time favorites. the meat was so tender and flavorful, and we loved hearing the kitchen sound so lively as they laid down our food. it was so hot and fresh. kimchi was tangy and broccoli was just boiled, but slightly cold. japchae didnt have a lot of toppings but it was sweet and chewy! i actually loved the texture of these since normally they can get soggy. the dumplings were just standard chicken dumplings, nothing too crazy. i would definitely come here again and support this small business!! thank you for making our food with love read more

This place is very nice and calm, very open with lots of sitting available as well. The food is delicious with great portions if you ask me, I personally am a fan of their noodles- very flavorful and the texture is just perfect. They don't have a huge menu or options but all their signature bowls are very good. They also have soju and sake available along with Fresh lemonades. Their strawberry lemonade was honestly so good it caught me by surprise, it has fresh fruit and tasted like heaven. I would say they are a bit understaffed but there's this lady that works there who never fails to make us feel welcomed, she's an angel. I do wish she had a little more help though as sometimes large groups of people come in and it's just her but overall great food and staff. Portions were filling and it comes with a soup. Pork belly had a char flavor, which I like. Kimchi was more on the sweeter side for me, but still very flavorful. The fried seaweed japchae was a game changer. Not sure if the sauce that came with my order was meant for the fried seaweed, but it gives it a boost of flavor. I LOVE THIS PLACE. this is my favorite spot to get takeout in the area and i am always reccomending it. k food express is a true gem and the owners are just great people. they are always so friendly and go above and beyond to take care of me. they serve delicious korean food at a fair price and the quality has hit every time. my favorites are the pork belly cup bap and the donkatsu. the kimchi tastes bomb af too. the portions are great too, way bigger than a cup and the best thing about this place is that it straight up tastes like a home cooked meal because it really is just that. this place is down to earth and humble and all about making great korean food. a perfect weeknight option for dine in or takeout. the atmosphere is great too and it feels very cozy and easygoing. all you foodies on the hunt for a local gem, believe me you found one at k food express. read more

The food was very delicious! I ordered the spicy pork bowl and the portions were generous and flavorful. Staff was incredibly nice and made some good suggestions on what to try since it was my first time there. The highlight was their home made kimchi. I have not had kimchi like theirs before! It was so good I definitely have to come back for more. The inside super cozy and chill. Definitely a good spot to bring some friends for lunch and relax. I am utterly surprised at how good the food was, even after microwaving it. This was a to-go order that my coworker got for me. I got the Donkatsu cup bop in which it sat in the fridge for a few hours before I was able to get to it and eat for lunch. After microwaving the entire bowl, the Katsu was still crunchy and good. The kimchi was super fresh, the curry wasnt too overpowering, and the noodles were the perfect texture. The portion I received, especially in the to go container was a lot! I saw the high reviews for this place on Yelp so I decided to stop by for a quick meal. I ordered a beef bulgogi kim-bap. Let me start off with saying that the rolls here are HUGE while still maintaining a great meat to veggies to rice ratio. The flavor of the beef bulgogi was really good and the veggies in the roll complemented it really well. This seems like it's a mom and pop store and it's only the two of them working there. Service here is friendly but my only complaint is that there was a decent wait for my food even though I was the only one in the store. I assume they make the food fresh to order and that's why it took a while, so I didn't mind it as much. The store itself is nicer than I expected; it looks unassuming on the outside but the inside is really bright and modern. It is located in a small plaza and there was plenty of parking when I went. This place is so good! It has become one of our main go-to takeout places for some good high quality food. It's a nice little mom & pop shop, but their food is always on point. Their donkatsu is always light and crispy, and the presentation in their cup bops is always really nice. They're both super friendly and at this point recognize me when I come in for pickups. They used to close super early, around 6, and now they're open until 11, which is great when I crave their food for a late dinner. The only thing is they no longer sell their kim bap rolls, which were also really good. Maybe and hopefully they bring those back one day, but this spot is a must-try for the locals either way. read more

It comes with japchae, kimchi, broccoli, and rice. The donkatsu was very crispy and I loved the sauce on it. Tteokbokki: Very simple with just rice cakes, fish cakes, and one egg. There was no green onions like shown in the picture on the menu. Spicy level was lightly mild. The sauce was too watery. I would skip this next time. This place is located in a deserted plaza so there's plenty of parking here lol. Walking in, I love how simple it is to order and eat here. Very casual just like ordering at a food court tbh. I was also debating eating either at the food court at The Source or trying this place out and THIS IS THE BETTER OPTION. The pricing is very reasonable here and just as well worth for what you order! The food court at the Source seems a bit pricier, but it's definitely more affordable here and they basically serve what you can order there. I came about almost to closing time (6pm) and I felt bad for eating there that late but the cashier was so sweet. It feels like this may be a family owned restaurant? The lady who was helping was also very kind and sweet. It feels like I was being cared for like family. Onto the entree, I ordered the Bulgogi cup bop which comes with rice, kimchi, broccoli, and japchae. The taste also feels VERY HOMEY. Everything about it was so nice. I really liked the japchae in this dish too. I would say that the bulgogi meat that they use feels like it's a bit on the fattier side? But the overall taste was really good. This is my spot for Korean comfort food Mom and pop shop that you do NOT want to miss. Everything is made fresh and to order, expect 15 minutes for pick up, but you can also eat inside. The owners so so insanely sweet, they take such care in prepping your food and you can absolutely taste it. Their chicken is never dry, their beef is always well seasoned, and their katsu is perfectly crispy and flakey. I love the chicken japchae, and katsu cup bap; both proteins are so tender, moist and flavorful. The katsu sauce is deadly addicting and I always try to get some in my rice. Their hot stone bibimbap is chock-full of ingredients with just the right amount of sesame oil and flavor; we often have to pack some of it to go. Their army stew (budaejigae) is my absolute favorite, and I've compared it to a lot of other Korean stew places, some way pricier and this one still takes the cake. It has a wonderful roasted flavor from all the meats they put in and I love going for the ramen first. I always take extra to go since it's small but filling. The best part? Let's not forget that they have self serve all-you-can-eat banchan (side dishes) and they do not skimp on variety. There's your usuals like the napa kimchi, radish kimchi and fish cakes, but they also have mac salad, potato salad, japchae and other goodies which works well for your picky toddlers. Overall, this is a wonderful little restaurant that deserves a visit over and over when you're just craving some comfort korean food at decent prices.
